My friend’s little brother (non-verbal) used to hide people’s shoes if he liked the person, because it meant they had to stay longer. The more difficult it was to find your shoes, the more he liked you.
One day my cousin came over, and she was a bitch. When it was time to leave, my friend’s brother handed her shoes directly to her and she went on and on about how he must have a crush on her because he only “helped” her.

Did you guys notice how as they clasp hands Bucky pulls them into himself? How he pulls them closer until the back of Sam's hand touches his chest?
This is how they've come to deal with losing Steve. At first, they were together because of Steve. Because Steve was their middle man, their mutual friend. But now they've both lost him, and it warms my heart to see them relying on each other this way.
Sam had a hard past with losing a partner and friend already, and Bucky has had not just a shitty decade, but almost a shitty century. This love, this bond of friendship borne out of love and pain and suffering and mutual need for someone to anchor them. This is so beautiful.
Bucky is willingly allowing someone to touch him, and you know by the intimate way he pulls Sam in and closer that they've done it various times. SamBucky had never seemed so brighter to me before.
