The last line I wrote is (pathetically) also the first line of the next chapter of The Haunting in Blackwood Hollow; evidently I haven't gotten very far. LOL
The dappled sunlight that filtered through the trees belied your mood, and the smiling laughing faces of both friends and strangers did nothing to lift the gloom that had settled upon your shoulders like a shawl.
Maybe someday I'll finish this thing!
