Summary: Tobirama was reborn on a world far away from everything he had known. Although, born was perhaps not the right word. Incubated? That might be a more correct way to view it. Stepping out of that glass chrysalis, and making his way back to the home he remembered, the last thing he expected to find was another him. One that had not lived through all the things he had. Not yet. And Tobirama, given this precious chance to change everything, would not let it slip through his fingers.

Now, if only the other players in his plans would cooperate…

There is a rage, an anger, that doesn’t feel like his. A ruthlessness that goes beyond what he considers normal. It is a curse, that of the Uchiha mainline, one that none of them had ever escaped from. But maybe this time, things will be different…

It was not always easy, but I was lucky to work with the amazing @cherryhrat, who made this absolutely stunning piece, based on chapter 25. Go check them out, it's absolutely gorgeous! I cannot express just how much I love it, and it is truly a perfect renddition of that scene - thank you <3

I'm happy I could join as an artist for the @mdtb-bb gang and create something for my partner's story (even though my scene is near the end of their fic 😅). Their story is really exciting and the twist to the plot left me in shambles (even though they told me the plot twist at the beginning of the event, I got so invested in the story and completely forgot about it until it happened).

In short, you all should go give the fic a read. You will NOT regret it, I promise.

Read lovely @slrsunfire 's fic A Constellation Undiscovered again <3 and damn two scenes made me want to draw them. Here is the first scene that inspired me to draw this scene:

“No,” Tobirama breathes out as he tries to sit up again, refusing to let Lord Uchiha make such a decision for the both of them now that the unwelcome awareness of his failings has suddenly been pulled into the light with his husband’s selfless gesture. Tobirama wants no part in it, his husband’s mercy. “No, you cannot—” His husband presses him down again, just as gently as before but now with a firmness that holds Tobirama fully immobile beneath his inhuman strength. “May your flame be protected until your time comes, Tobirama,” Lord Uchiha murmurs, and the low utterance of his name without titles feels more like a physical caress. It is the greatest display of intimacy they have ever engaged in, with the walls that have normally hemmed in their more vulnerable parts rendered down to nothing but rubble and unrealized potential beneath the weight of the moment. Tobirama is struck by how breathless and pained it leaves him as he stares up into Lord Uchiha’s red eyes, and he cannot help but think himself a fool of the largest order. “Madara, do not do this,” Tobirama firmly insists, forgetting the fear he holds of his husband’s gaze as he holds it with all the determination he can muster in his battered, weakened body. He honors his husband the only way he can, to use his name and his name alone, to hold his gaze without flinching. It is a paltry thing, barely deserving of recognition, but it makes Lord Uchiha’s—Madara’s—eyes shine with more light than Tobirama could ever have anticipated.

Madara: Crushes are the worst. Whenever I’m near mine, I start acting stupid.

Tobirama: You always act stupid.
