These words were followed by weeks of darkness, weeks of silence. Barty's evening words were: "The world is made up of good people and Death Eaters" and a heavy cough slowly took hold of them both, their breath rattling and the dampness in the walls not helping.

Concept:

Best friends brother AU as Barty X Sirius.

Let me explain.

- Barty and regulus become best friends and barty is always over at their house.

-Barty sees regulus’s, hot older teenage brother for the first time and has his gay awakening.

-He purposefully is extra annoying at sirius just to get his attention, but Sirius will just leave the room when he’s done with his brother, and his little annoying friend. Which frustrates Barty, to no end, making him want him even more.

-if it is requited, then Sirius flirts a little bit back with Barty, but only when regulus is not looking or not in the room, leading to when Barty finally confesses, his feelings for regulus’s older brother, Regulus saying “there is no way he is into you.”

-Or maybe Sirius keeps his distance, because he thinks that regulus fancies barty

-Or maybe Regulus is really into James so when it all comes out that they are each secretly dating the others best friend, they decide to call it truce.
