Hello Feral children! Here's my favorite biscuit recipe. It was originally my dad's, but I made some tweaks to enhance the flavor.
2 cups of flour
1 1/2 tbls of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 1/2 tbls of baking powder
1/2 of butter
1 cup of milk
Heat oven to 425°
Mix the dry ingredients until combined.
Ad butter and cut into small pieces with a pastry blender or knife until it's incorporated into a coarse powder.
Ad the milk and mix til it forms a thick, sticky dough.
Knead dough with floured hands until smooth. Roll into 5 or 6 balls and bake for 16 minutes.
Let them cool a bit and enjoy with jam or soup<3
