so, did you ever finish the dark ui for the sims 3? Your patreon is down, so I was wondering if you could upload it to MTS if that's the case?
Here's what the mod looks like right now, as of July 2023. I restarted the whole thing late last year with a better design and have made okay progress. Live Mode is pretty much finished, CAS is 60% there, I haven't started on Build/Buy though.
Anyways, the thing just.. isn't finished. I closed down my patreon because I would go long stretches of time without working on it, then do a couple things here and there, and then I would be busy again. Not to mention it's a way bigger scale project than I first thought. I edit all the files by hand and there are a LOT of them.
I'm busy with I.T. for college, so I haven't had much free time, and when I do have free time I usually play other games. Been cooking a lot recently. I haven't done anything sims related in months because it feels like Sims 3 and the community is just in a limbo state right now where nothing new is really happening.
While the mod is now usable for me (I mostly stay in live mode and CAS anyways), Build/Buy not being done may make it unusable for a lot of people. Plus, there isn't really any community interest for the project anymore.
Anyways thanks for the mini rant/life post, maybe if interest picks up then it would be worth taking another shot at, but for now I don't think the Patreon is worth keeping up. I didnt really care about the "money" and Tumblr as a platform seems to be losing a lot of users. Regardless, thank you to the kind anons in my asks for sending positive messages.

This is a re-release of the prologue.
I switched it over to Twine, removed some things, added some things, updated some pictures, cleaned up the writing, moved some bits around to improve the story flow, and added some music. Other than that, it is still largely just the same thing I posted an eternity ago.
The biggest change is to Lilith and Lucy's story lines. If you don't want to reread the entire thing, then the relevant stuff can be found here.

Random UI Experiments [ALPHA]
I’ve gotten a handful of requests to upload some of the other TS2 Clean UI recolors that I’ve showcased on Tumblr and Discord. These were recolors that I whipped up in a week- so I haven’t taken the time to polish them. They were last modified in summer 2021, hope that gives you an idea of how long ago these have been.
I’m really swamped up and busy with school at the moment, so I’m sorry but I can’t dedicate time to finish these. Just to clarify- these are all experimental, and I haven’t finished them. I don’t intend to any time soon- these aren’t public betas, I’m just releasing them so y’all will be satisfied :b
Credit as always to greatcheesecakepersona for being the best modder ever and reverse engineering these files so anyone can make recolors. All I did was recolor the UIs in Photoshop. Again, all thanks to him and EAxis.
Final note: This is an ALPHA mod and therefore won’t be finished. Expect text bugs, visual glitches, and general unfinished stuff. Don’t spam my ask box, you have been warned.

After a year since its initial reveal, it’s now here!
Please note that as this uses Clean UI & Starship UI as a base, it will require all expansion packs and Mansion & Garden stuff to work as fully intended.

To the Filipinos messaging me today over the ongoing election results (and for the foreigners to be aware of our political situation),
I feel you — this is humiliating, painful, and devastating. A legacy of dictatorship back on the seat of power, over hundreds of reported bribery and cheating cases with evidence, an election committee with their own preferred people, actors and abusers over human rights lawyers, history forgotten and rewritten.
But let's never forget that we're on the right side of history. My first vote was for someone with the best possible credentials and character, along with a colorful senatorial team with great campaigns.
We'll grieve this time around, but let grief turn to anger and let anger turn to hope for a better future.
I'll always remember how every university banded together for her; how professionals and celebrities chose her and her team. I'll never forget the flash mobs singing peace hymns in malls, markets, and streets; the house-to-house campaigns where my friends ventured to the most unreachable places; the sports games where everyone wore pink instead of their school colors; the crowded rallies where food and water were passed around, and not a single wallet was stolen.
We turned a political campaign into a movement for change and love — and I'll always be proud of that. We made the right choices. We did what we can. That, in itself, shows promise for our future.
For brighter futures, laban lang, Pilipinas! fighting! 💗
