So today I'm going to write a review on this game I'm playing, Call Me Emperor.
Have you guys ever seen a game commercial that shows a beefy man wearing a dress, or a male consort getting pregnant and gives birth etc. ? Well, that's how I got trapped in this game. I got an impression that it is going to be an RPG but, I was betrayed!!! Where is mpreg? Where is that beautiful western doctor that I can have affair with? Where is that beefcake wearing woman dress??? But hey, not everything in the ads is a lie though. And Clicktouch no longer release such ads now.
First thing first, all the consorts are indeed beautiful. They are all females when you first get them but the game allows you to reincarnate the consorts to male once you obtained them. The example I have here is Feng Xiaolian and her male reincarnation, Gu Nanyi (my husband 😍).
However, not all consorts are free. Some require you to pay a huge amount of money which will make you bite off your nails (including me 🙃), while some require you to collect certain items and if you refuse to recharge, you may need to wait for months to get your dream consort. It took me half year to get my Yan Hansheng 🥺.
The male consorts will also give you children but you will not see them getting pregnant or in labor. How disappointing...
Next, I want to talk about the game play. CME is a palace game so what you do is king stuffs. Governance, commerce, military and of course, cough, harem. There are hardly any role-play by the way.
As an emperor/emperess, you need your ministers to run your kingdom. Each minister has different attributes and level of power. Just like consorts, some ministers are expensive 🥴. And those expensive ministers are exceptionally powerful. Some are also so beautiful that you might want them as consorts instead 🤓.
Each minister has their own influencing consort. In other words, the more love you give to the consort, the more influenced the minister will be and thus become more powerful.
One thing I like about CME, it has many different events and they don't have fixed schedule. It is during the events where you can get lots of items without recharge. Well, unless you want to be event top player then you need to recharge. It is impossible to win an event without throwing money.
There are also Facebook events from time to time. So if you don't want to recharge, do join FB events often. You may get precious in-game items, including a minister and a consort 😍.
Lastly is about the game support service. One word, top-notch. They will reply you immediately and guess what? They will call you Your Majesty all the time. Daayyyyummm. So far in my experience, they fixed every bug I reported without fail. If the bug affects entire server, every player in the server will be compensated handsomely. Well, it is to be expected anyway since players keep spending money for them. Bet their pay are also high 🤓.
Overall, I have complex feeling for this game. It is a good game but it is too much a pay-to-win game. You need self control to play it or you will find your money gone without realizing it. But psstt, there are also ways to win an event without spending. I'll tell you how later. Till then, ciao!
