I knew everyone was sleeping on Beef because it is so so good. It deserves all the recognition and more.
Not me scrolling through beef dishes and buff men to get a scoop of Netflix's Beef.

Y'all I made a cute little video that you can totally put in background...it's on a pretty little Ghibli planner that I got from Japan. I've had hard luck with self promotion but I'm gonna try anyway, and I'll really appreciate it if 48 hours of hard work has at least 5 views 馃珷馃ゲ

Listen folks, if Hera is the goddess of marriage and her husband keeps cheating on her, there might just be a social message here.

They can wear a mask idk. It's foreplay these days
equally fucked up alternate version of the orpheus and eurydice myth where i successfully bring the great love of my life back from the dead without looking back but the unresolved trauma of their death leaves me so scared of losing them a second time that i can't bear to look at them ever again

I'm close to the conflict genocide, being here in Egypt for the first time for work. And all I can dream about is bombs and plane crashes. Next to my hotel room, a loud sound will startle me and I cannot help but think of Palestine. But if you have any idea what they are going through, you don't. And I say that for myself.
This is not just the time for a passive "calling for peace" but if you live in countries (I'm looking at you USA) who are supporting this inhuman terror, I urge you to make your voice known to your political representatives or the blood will also be on your hands. Boycott people. Brands. Representatives. Whatever it takes. And don't do a sorry boycott, talk to people. Tell everyone.
There are enough articles on the internet that'll let you know how people are actually making money in many of these countries and making empires out of dead people. Don't fool yourself "oh that's just human history", this new and poisonous evil will spread more poison in the cauldron of the world. And with new weapons of mass destruction, this is most definitely unprecedented terror that'll change the very DNA code of Palestinian people.

A few words for my icon because even though I never met him or saw him live, his presence broke through and made home in my life.
Atsushi Sakurai, often revered for his god-like beauty from his 20s, was a true artist. He loved macabre and music so much and even though unfortunate as his death is, I know that death was never a strange or unfamiliar topic for him. A few days earlier I was in Tokyo and I remember looking at the Yokohama concert tickets that I couldn't buy in time. I had no idea it would be his last.
He had covid recently (a difficult case I might add) and the fact that he went back on stage eagerly is testament to his love for music (although I truly wish someone had stopped him because as a vocalist, lung function is the key). He was a man who lived life on his own terms, defied gender norms, and although I don't profess to know him, whatever I could understand from far, I know that he had a golden smile and true Japanese warmth and kindness. He truly had the most genuine smile...
I still remember the absolute tearful performances of Dress (dedicated to his mother), for it is common knowledge that he loved his mother very much.
So wherever he is, transitioning in and out of this fragile world...I hope he's reunited with her.
Rest in peace dark prince.
