Well something out of the ordinary for me today…… @jessicalee_333 & I paid a visit to Noosa’s latest gym @noosafit247 The guys chucked a open day on today & yesterday, couldn’t make yesterday thanks to work so today had to be the day. They have made a big change from the previous gym, it feels so much more open than the previous gym that was there. CHEESSSSSTTTTT DAY!!!!!!! First time in a while I’ve done barbell bench (not my favourite way to bench, find the squeeze better on dumbbell) felt really good, could probably squeeze a little more weight on there. Basic 4x10 set, 3x12 dumbbell fly after to stretch it a little differently. Finally incline dumbbell bench to completely finish it all off 4x10. Boulder building day. Little bit different to my usual shoulder technique, more full shoulder work with a little front delt & rear delt to finish off. Love military press & I prefer to do it standing so as to engage stability muscles as well as the shoulders rather than ego lift with a bench supporting your back, harder to overload yes but not impossible. Upright row next, as long as you don’t go to high you don’t risk your shoulder joint. Well dam I guess I’m ♿️ tomorrow 🤣MONDAY LEGDAY!!!! 4x10 squats using @maximusbootybands for a little glute impact added to the leg destruction. 1 set at 60kg & 3 sets at 75kg. The last 2 sets hurt a little second last more than the last. Cable machine hamstring curls & leg raises to finish the legs off…… Or one would think 🤔 But fuck it let’s do some walking lunges as implemented by @nickbarefitness in his old embrace the suck training beta trainer a couple years ago. Arm day done & dusted!!! Didn’t get a ride in this morning, woke up at 12am to a storm & had awful sleep from then to time to get up so I ended up sleeping in a little. Completely cooked my biceps with 4x12 barbell curls followed by 2x20 resistance band curls… Needless to say the biceps were done. Not to be left out I did a pyramid set of rope pull downs on the cable machine 10 reps per plate until I couldn’t do 10 then 10 each to the end. The video on here was the last plate.
