Project I’ve been working on “TeenDrive365 Video Challenge: Happy Endings” I usually do photography stuff, but this was a great first step into filming and makes me want to do more! I so enjoyed making this and trying to come up with a way to make people drive safer. The kids were so willing to answer my questions and were super excited to share what they want for their future. Help them get to that future! Let’s try to get this message to as many people as possible!

Why was I so nervous about meeting her?
TONIGHT SURPASSED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS! I have all my books signed by my favorite author. Was told that my wood burned piece was actually in the top 15 for the contest. AND MAGGIE GAVE ME HER CUPCAKE AS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT! HER CUPCAKE. ONE OF MY FAVORITE HUMAN BEINGS GAVE ME THE CUPPAKE BARNS AND NOBLE INTENDED FOR HER TO HAVE . I'm one happy camper, tumblr, one happy camper. 2014 is lookin great. Life is looking great. I'm great. Maggie Stiefvater is great. Everything is great!

My entry for the Art Contest! :)
I have decided it is time to reward the Raven Cycle fandom for keeping me warm on winter nights. Impromptu art contest time.
The rules are simple:
- Anyone can enter. ONCE.
- Any medium is permitted (all photo stuff MUST include proper credits)*
- To enter, post your raven-cycle-themed piece on your tumblr and tag it in “the raven cycle” tag — but because not all tagged posts appear in a tag, make sure you ALSO reply to this post with a note so I know you’ve done one (a link as a comment/ reply to this note, or something obvious if you reblog it would work). Really the idea is just to make sure that I see it)
- Enter before Sunday at 9 p.m. EST. (January 26)
And the prize is simple as the rules:
I’ll draw whichever character the winner would like. And mail you the original.
*any medium is permitted, but I’m a subjective and art-loving judge, so I’m guessing I will look more fondly upon drawn/ painted/ sculpted/ artsy things, although beautiful photo work will undoubtedly please me, too. Really, it’s just that if it came down to two pieces and one was a slightly less-beautiful 100% fanmade piece and the other was a drop-dead gorgeous photo montage, the slightly less beautiful piece would win because of the amount of reader-input into the actual art.
Did I forget anything? Probably. I always forget something.
