I’m tired of fans of my f/o saying ‘he’s a villain, stop mischaracterising him!’ because I primarily post about him being sweet to me. Yet if I publicly posted about the underage grooming pseudo-incest side of our relationship, those same fans would call me disgusting (and worse). There’s no way to win.

I have some platonic f/os that are really special to me!!! But they’re friendships that I probably wouldn’t have or maybe even want to have in real life? Which is confusing sometimes. I’ll see a person who is, for all intents and purposes, very similar in appearance/personality/whatever to my f/o, and it weirds me out a little when my brain makes that connection. Not sure what that’s about.

i struggle a lot with jealousy. i only have 1 f/o and he’s from a pretty obscure source + small fandom. i recently joined a discord server with some fans of the source and only 1 other person is a fan of my f/o and they want to talk to me about him and it makes me so upset, which isn’t fair to them. i don’t understand how to stay active in the small fanbase while avoiding all other fans of him :(
it makes me feel so mean to “gatekeep”(?) him, but the idea of others even liking him as a character makes me throw up with anxiety and jealousy (/srs)
