I love the ship dynamic of a character having the worst day imaginable (breakup, being fired, etc.) and then on that same day accidentally finding the worst person imaginable injured (villain, antagonist, etc.) and deciding fuck it and helping them because their day couldn't possibly get any worse, especially if the character is helping the injured character not necessarily out of a sense of kindness but more out of obligation because they were the one who stumbled upon them
