Okay, I have this head canon where QR is actually pretty normal around anyone who he doesn't consider annoying af, or around people he doesn't have to keep up his persona with (specifically Guzi). And the only reason he acts crazy is so the 'annoying af' people gtfo of his cave.

Okay I know this is a wild theory/ headcanon and even I'm not sure if I believe it but!
At some point, Hua Cheng basically says he is the ruler of the Ghost City because if he wasn't, someone significantly worse would take over.
We also know that Hua Cheng attacked Qi Rong's old base a while ago (50 years I think?) but he couldn't catch Qi Rong because he attacked head on, so Qi Rong saw him coming and fled.
Also, Qi Rong expends a lot of effort attempting a coup over the Ghost City (this obviously fails every time but he is persistent).
So part of me wonders if Qi Rong was running the place before Hua Cheng.
That's partly why all the ghosts just adore their leader because omg he is so much better than that other guy!!
Just a thought. It bugs me.

Canon, but imagine this.
Percy fighting everything every time, everything goes according to canon. But, he doesn't fight for Annabeth, doesn't fight for the gods, doesn't even fight for his mom— he fights for himself, for survival. No romance plot shits here, just plain ol' fighting to survive. Romance is bullshit and survival is better.
Fic writers, pls write this. Bonus points if people thought that he loved Annabeth but in reality, the part of him was screaming to not leave anyone behind.

Zeus didn't need such a powerful enemy, so he buried his love and passion as deeply as possible and he forbade mortals to tell the story of his passion for Poseidon in any way…
But his feelings for Poseidon were too strong, and the love and passion of the sky for the sea was passed on to the demigods.
This sounds problematic. I like it.
