Set a year after the events of a horrible massacre, a new human finds himself within an unfamiliar world. With old faces and new foes alike, witness Jack Penthos in an adventure that will forever change him and this world that he calls home.
If the Empathy soul had a dedicated "Soul Mode" like the Shooter Mode for Justice or Platformer Mode for Integrity ect ect, what would it be like?
This was suggested by other people, but the most basic idea for it that I recall was the ability to predict enemy attacks. Going a bit further I could I see it as an overhaul of the entire battle system. Maybe something akin to Shin Megami Tensei and/or Deltarune where you get access to spells and a TP bar, and you're encouraged to find enemy weaknesses through ACT commands. Part of this is already reflected in Rupturedtale proper, as most Act commands that Jack has are mostly him negotiating and bargaining with monsters instead of just outright doing weird funny shit like Frisk.
Jack huh? Is it a name your fine with/take pride in or did you always want a different name? Only keeping Jack because you had it for so long. Just curious is all.
Overall, I think the story is going well. It has great staying power as quality content, and while releases in regards to story progression and updates have slowed down I think that only speaks to the dedication you have to put out quality content. The comic has been going on since at least 2016, so I imagine some of what you originally envisioned has altered slightly. That said, I think the story is strong, and that you are good enough that any changes you make to whatever you originally planned will be suitable and flow well. As far as where the story is going, well, Jack has been in Snowdin for almost a decade now so he's probably about to go out and meet the monster in waterfall, before regrouping back in Snowdin. Cause, while he's strong willed, he's not an idiot and knows when he's outmatched. It seems likely that that monster is an amalgamate version of Undyne. I'm unsure of the exact events, but we can assume that the Human was on a non-pacifist run, but not a total genocide run. In certain runs Undyne amalgamates and stays solid for a few more turns before melting(horrifyingly might I add) due to increased determination that her body can't handle. So, either this version of Undyne took down the human or somehow the human ran away. Either way, Undyne "survived", but turned into the amalgamations you see in Alphy's basement. As amalgamates seem to consist of more than one monster it seems likely that Undyne will be a combination of various waterfall monsters and probably Alphys(It's been a while since I've read, so I can't remember if she's still around). That's why everyone tells Jack to stay out of waterfall. She's patrolling Waterfall and takes anything that goes into waterfall as an enemy. Beyond that, there's too many unknowns to make any strong fan theories in my opinion. Keep it up!
I see.
No real comments here. Replying only because I wanted others to see this.
Doge, speaking of family, is that small white dog that inexplicably shows up in random places, hangs out with the Temmies, likes to breaks physics, and used to bother a tragically deceased skeleton, of any relation to you guys?
Sans.... Did you kill the human? I'm not going to ask some stupid "is Papyrus dead," type of question, since we both know, but I'm honestly not sure what happened to them, and the Something just makes it even more complicated. Did they make it to you? That's all.

Good evening, everyone. Due to the on-going hiatus, it was decided by us here at Studio Raupture™ to create a highly condensed, abridged version of this comic. For those of you who wish to see the true secrets that lie within this comic, we suggest you take a look.
We are looking forward to hear your thoughts on this highly compact, highly condensed version of this story.
why do you often get asked about crossovers? (especially inverted fate), and well ... can I ask? What will happen if Jack ends up in Undertale Yellow, and what will he do in a nutshell?
In the context of just him in Undertale Yellow:
The biggest difference here is that his determination would overpower Flowey's compared to Clover's, so I would imagine Flowey would have to change gears a little bit in terms of planning. He'd probably still emphasize him to go to Asgore, though.
Since the Underground isn't that hostile in Yellow and regular Undertale, I don't think Jack would have any major outbursts or incidents for the most part. Maybe around the end of the game, when he finds out what Ceroba did and that he himself is not really able to leave without killing Asgore.
I know for one thing is that Jack wouldn't offer his soul on the spot after fighting Ceroba. I'd imagine regardless of the outcome of the fight that he'd still want to go talk to Asgore by himself. He wouldn't let Martlet accompany him.
Whether or not Jack actually manages to defeat Asgore, that's not really something I can answer. Jack isn't exactly a small child and Asgore is presumably really fucking powerful when he actually tries, so what happens between the two can go either way, really.
Once again, this is purely in the context of Undertale Yellow. As far as these two go in Rupturedtale, you'd just have to wait and see.
Let's say that Jack fell in place of Frisk during Undertale, and for some reason, went on a genocide route... somehow. What would happen when he met Papyrus on the bridge?
Jack doing a No Mercy route under Undertale's context is pretty doubtful, so Papyrus would probably be able to make him stop.
