Hello to the people that read this
First of all, thank you!
Second this is just a little about me :)
Hi, you can call me Rissa here. I am a straight, cis, female ally
Some of the fandoms I am a part of are:
-Blackthorn Key (even though the fandom is only a 100 people and a shoelace iykyk)
-Harry Potter
-Percy Jackson (working my way through the books at the speed of a snail)
-Hamilton
-Marvel (although I’m still watching some of the movies)
-Good Omens (I just started watching it)
-I also want to start watching Sherlock
I also always read a book and then there is no fandom at all :(
Anyway some things I do irl is make things with my Cricut, it’s basically my child. I Crochet and play the flute.
I’ve also been irl besties with r3d-m3dic since kindergarten:)
I don’t know exactly what and when I’ll post, but I apologize in advance if I magically disappear for a week and then come back like nothing happened. I am a very busy person.
I might do book recs, maybe post some drawings and incorrect quotes but I really don’t know.
If anyone does have a request to draw something, I’m a minor so nothing inappropriate please.

A funny thing happened at school the other day.
There is this group of boys at my school, and almost all of them have girlfriends. On the daily they make gay jokes to each other and pretend they are each other’s boyfriends. (At one point one of them “married” another two but that’s a different story.) Anyways, the point is, we were in class and one of the boy’s girlfriend walked in. She has an injured leg and was asking the teacher if she could get some ice. Her boyfriend offered to take her to the ice machine since he stays after school for sports and uses it occasionally. As my teacher was writing the hall pass she said, “No smooching in the hallway you two.” And the boy just laughed and walked away, and as he was passing his friend, who is in the same friend group and also heard the teacher, the boy going to the ice machine goes, “I don’t kiss women,” looks his friend dead in the eyes and says, “I only kiss MEN.” And when I tell you everyone that heard it started dying- I think our teacher thought we were insane or something.

Okay so my friend irl has a problem and I need people who are more knowledgeable in this subject than I am for advice. (I am a cis, straight female ally)
My friend has been exploring their gender identity and things like that, and they have told me recently they want to appear more masculine. They would be fine buying clothes n stuff except their parents think this is just a phase (and are also kinda strict.) Let me just say that they aren’t homophobic, but this is the first time their parents are hearing about theses changes even though it’s been going on for months at this point.
If anyone has any tips or questions please let me know and don’t be afraid to reach out. Also if I got any terminology wrong I apologize.

I was just trying to casually watch the Percy Jackson show with my little sister in peace and they have the AUDACITY to introduce this little cutie? This mama’s boy with daddy issues??? Who acted as an older brother figure for one of the characters? Who had good intentions but went about it the wrong way and will undoubtedly spiral into some awful villain???
What did they expect me to do?? Not fall in love with him????

everyone always commenting on how sweet percy is for dropping super romantic comments about annabeth, or their cutest moments together and funniest convos. and don’t get me wrong, i’m just as much a sucker for those as you guys are
but for me, it’s the little things that show how much he loves her that makes me so obsessed with them. like in chalice of the gods, he borrows her hat to complete the quest and afterwards, he puts it back to her size for her. it such a small thing to do - something annabeth likely won’t even notice - but it’s so effortlessly thoughtful. not to mention that despite how rushed he was when he put it on, he paid attention to what size it was for her much smaller head.
annabeth is a strong, determined, intimidating - many even say scary - young woman. and percy knows that better than anyone. but like… he takes care of her. he takes cares of her in both big ways and little ways that no one ever has for her, i just- UGHHHGH
