Okay tbh idk really... I turned my main blog into my fandom dump and central blog, and while I really want to do something with this, I don't really know...

I could post my main tmnt-specific series here, and maybe make them into comic series if I want to, but I've tried comics before and gosh they're so much work bcjbvnjs

I love askblogs and I'd love to do a rise askblog maybe, but idk if people'd be interested in that. I love them, but I haven't seen askblogs being popular for a while...

If you guys have any ideas of what I could repurpose this blog for, I'd love to know, genuinely, I'm just running out of uses for it sadly :')

Donnie says he records everything in that one episode

I turned it into a fanfic

Donnie wants uranium

Show and Movie directors want content

They make an exchange

The rest of Donnie’s brothers have n o idea.

Quick summary:

Donnie said he records everything. Sure, he probably just uses it for blackmail, but what if he found a way to get the resources he needs for all of his technology and innovative creations? Donnie trades off recordings of he and his brothers fighting crime, and in turn, the director and team who buy it promise to keep quiet about he and his brothers’ turtle situation.

Donnie gets uranium, and the director gets content.

What could go wrong?

His brothers are getting suspicious and he doesn’t wanna ruin the films by telling them… Or get scolded by Raph and forced to drop his deal…

Could end one of two ways. The brothers discover Donnie’s secret and Raph tells him to drop the deal, only to result in a villainous director who decides to rat out the turtles unless they keep up the act, essentially held at gunpoint now…

Or uh… Idk…

Risen Reality Au

Major Bullet Points

TMNT literally just a franchise, like real life

But the four turtles are taken from the Rise show

They have to make a big decision

Should they go back, or stay in the real world

Just a fun au with fun storylines and jokes

Gonna have them react to their fanbase too lol

Gonna insert Piper (persona) in there as well lmao

Has to happen, you’ll see why hyehyehye

Quick summary:

The Hamato brothers are all taken from their cartoon world and thrown into the real world… Woahhh… They remember all of their adventures and every day that happened in their world felt like it was real. When they’re thrown into the real world, they realize that life is not as easy and convenient as they always thought.

Things suddenly seem even more jarring, as they realize that there’s a bigger concern about being discovered than they originally thought. They also learn that while there still are special people who don’t mind their odd appearances, that those special people are hard and risky to search for and find.

The turtles realize that there have been many shows about them, ranging in different times. That there was a turtle multiverse in fact. (aka the other versions from 2023 to 1987 are canon :D). They find out they have a full-on fan base and get even more excited when they realize there’s a subsection of that fanbase just for their version (rise). It all seems awesome, but they learn a lot of things.

They see the good, bad, and ugly of their fandom. They see the good, bad, and ugly of real life. They almost die, several times.

As one does…

But do they really wanna leave such an interesting planet?

So, fair warning, but kinda important

blog stress has me-

Well whad'ya know, stressed, lol

I like the idea (and the dang convenient appeal) of having just one main blog instead of having separate blogs for comics and whatnot and I know this is incredibly inconvenient

Which is why if anybody doesn't want to make the move I will not be mad and I will not judge you (it'd be appreciated but I know it's annoying so like, I totally get it lol)

But instead of rambling a bunch, I'll just say I'm moving my stuff to my main blog from now on so I don't have to worry about running two big blogs. The main blog is here, and I'll post stuff like art, book updates, occasional comics hopefully, etc!

All the content is gonna be mostly if not all rise for quiteee a while cause I have a serious dangerous obsession! Yay :D

Thank you to anybody and everybody who moves. I dunno if I will end up deleting this blog or not. Maybe not, Maybe I'll find another use, idk. For now, it's just in a long (possibly permanent) hiatus, so be warned for that I suppose :')

Jelly, help, I’m already letting this au consume me LOL

K so translating my notes(cause my writing sucks) and then a breakdown of each doodle. This is just some ‘testing the waters’ doodles to see what ideas I like and what I don’t.

This isn’t actually finished yet, but I ended up loving the Sketchpage that I wanted to show, so here we are lol

“Lantern/light clan cult gang thing, tried to get Donnie to join by sending an oozesquito after him.”

So yeah, there’s a gang of moths that worship light and they wanted somebody smart in their ranks. They wanted Donnie to join because he was known all over the hidden city for his intelligence during the krang invasion. They uhh… They kinda kidnap him during a mission ig lol. He escapes but not before getting turned partially into a moth. They weren’t really as smart so they didn’t even think that maybe the mutation would only take partial transformation so uhhh mission failed-

“Tiny hairs as per many insects”

I liked your idea of the hairs that allow Donnie’s hands to stick to stuff, so it was kind of a no brainer to add that here too, since moths stick to stuff all the time.

“Common Crimson & Gold Moth (an attempt at keeping sorta purple colors)”

Yeah no, it’s more red and gold than anything but dang these things are pretty. Could be a nice design.

“Luna Moth (mostly here for the green, but an iconic moth too)”

Yeah, I wanted a nice green match for the wings as a potential option too, and I also figured when you think of moths, a lot of people think of Luna moths.

“White Ermine Moth (fluffy Dalmatian vibes)”

Kinda thrown in for the recognizable reason again, since a lot of people tend to think immediately of fluffy snowy white moths like white ermine moths or poodle moths.

I kinda like the first two a bit better tho, ngl.

“Eyes go black when pissed or scared?”

Yeah, so, I had an idea where his eyes would invert so his eyes were black with white pupils, but I kinda dropped that idea, but then I picked it up again and thought maybe his eyes look more moth-like when really stressed or enraged or smth?

“So meticulous but I love the detail ngl…”

“Mini moth man”

So yeah, I learned I liked the more meticulous antenna style. Also yeah, even if I don’t use it I’m totally making a Mothman version of him lol

“Smth like this ig??”

Me trying to figure out the wings and she’ll mix. I had the idea that the wings would sprout out from inside, sorta like your idea ngl, but I think it’d be less like… Under, and more through, so the wings would kind of be impossible to hide at that point.

A stupid silly comic I made for an idea I had where Donnie starts out kinda like a moth caterpillar, looking and feeling normal, but the more days that go by the bigger his wings and antenna grow, becoming impossibly to hide, and he just can’t really pretend that he’s a full turtle anymore lol

Also definitely not motivated by me wanting to implement an idea about how apparently the reasons you get holes in your clothes is because caterpillars are eating through it (and not fully grown moths usually) so maybe he’d be hoodie biting excessively during that time lol

I have a few more snippets only written on Google docs right now but gosh I am loving this au, I totally see the fun of formation swapping Donnie now LOL

Eventually, all the important info will be on one sheet though (hopefully) and I’ll tag you then about it lol

OMG i actually love this so much!

i love how the transformation is a slow one.

And he eats his clothes as a nervous habit??? love it. glorius. amazing.

Also the eyes going black? that would be so creepy to see, it would definitely terrify villians. and his brothers (the first few times lol)

Recently I found a list I made several months ago of Big Mama words that she uses in canon, so I thought I'd share it. (Note: this is not complete and the notes on meaning/use are limited by what I guessed from context.)

Biddily-boo: auction, bidding

Bimbally bugs: no particularly new meaning, her way of saying bugs

Contrapulation: complex object, contraption

Crackadoo: mess, disturbance

Dimbally door: no particularly new meaning, her way of saying door

Fantumptuous: very good, fabulous, amazing

Fizzy-winkle: mess, chaos

Fuggy-doodles: thieves

Hollydoo: apparently a sort of limb

Malutacious monsters: positive apparently

Meddle-doos: meddlers, irritants

Oh, giggily-pin: exclamation

Scramulent: good, pleasing (occasionally used sarcastically)

Scrumbulent: good, pleasing

Silly-billy: silly

Skanktonious: stinky, repulsive

Tissle-tassle: problem, possibly a little issue that gets bigger

Thrashy-diddle: fight

Everyday Au

Major Bullet Points

The turtles take a long break from missions

The Krang gets defeated so yeah

The turtles all take jobs in the Hidden City

April can finally focus on getting a job lol

No turtles to mess up her career (no offense turts lol)

Crime starts again, so the heroes have to go on missions

Quick summary:

Yeah, basically the bullet points. They all take jobs, but then are thrown back into their missions suddenly when bad guys start showing up. Mikey’s probably gonna be a mascot performer and a counselor cause I could have a plot point where he’s overworking himself. Leo’s a comedy or talk show host cause ha ha ig. Donnie’s a tech support guy (2007 turtles intensifies). Raph’s a cop cause he never drops crime fighting (2007 turtles intensifi- Yeah, that movie was a big inspo)

Oh yeah, when the turtles are forced back into missions, they have their own unique flaws they have to get past because of their jobs and long time without practice. Raph keeps forgetting that he has a team and keeps forgetting to help them and tell them the plans because he goes solo too much. Donnie keeps getting interrupted mid-fight by calls from clients, and keeps pausing mid-fight to judge and critique the tech he sees. Leo commentates on literally everything, and his excessive pun use only gets worse… Talking more than fighting. Mikey gets completely taken away by his emotions after doing his jobs, preferring peaceful options rather than fighting, and being very easily manipulated.

Basically, the turtles have to get past their flaws and get back into the swing of things again, saving the day!

Big Mama's Dialogue

I've heard a few people lament on how Big Mama is difficult to write because of how she speaks, so I thought I'd share my tips and tricks.

I start out by writing what I intend for her to say without the flowery language added on. For example:

"I look nice in the new jacket I bought."

Doesn't sound like Big Mama at all, but it'll help you have a place to start so you don't have to be intimidated by scrolling through thesaurus.

Now, Big M has a tendency to do the following:

Use outdated American slang (anywhere from the 1920's to the 60's)

Apply alliterations (using the same letter at the beginning of a word to the adjacent/close word)

Use adverbs, so describing words with the end suffix -ly (i.e. softly, mysteriously, quickly)

Sprinkle in a few made-up words

So let's take the base sentence I provided an shape it to Big M's standards.

Instead of word vomiting out all the outdated American slang I know, I'm going to link some resources/websites you all can look at and come back to. She mostly uses 20's slang, so the links are centered around that.

So let's edit our base sentence a little, now it's:

"This new jacket I bought is the cat's meow."

Adding the next layer:

I did mention that Big Mama tended to use both alliterations and adverbs in copious amounts, but don't feel pressured to use both at once in a sentence. If it fits, it fits. If it doesn't, some trimming might be useful. This is why having a base sentence is important, so the intention behind the dialogue isn't lost under all the additions you're adding. So with that in mind, I'm going to alter our example:

"This new jazzy jacket I just bought is the cat's meow."

The last part:

I save the "fake words" part for last, because beginning with them can make your sentences clunky or not make sense. This part really relies on your personal touch or the context and tone of the situation at hand. The example I gave make Big Mama sound like she's preening about her looks, so I'm going to lean into that.

"This newsie-woozie jazzy jackety I just bought is the cat's meow! Grr!"

And for comparison, here's where we started.

"I look nice in the new jacket I bought."

And well, that's it!!! Hope it was helpful to those that needed it!!!

Quick summary:

The turtles are all villains. What caused them to snap is when they saved the world from the Krang and then one of the humans believed that the turtles were with the Krang, deciding to k i l l their dad. Yeahhh they were NOT happy about that and now they swore to destroy the humans. Baron takes over as essentially their second Splinter, but actually takes his job seriously (and may or may not be a better dad). Not all of the villains are swapped, but the Foot Clan turn good, mostly in an effort to take down the bad guys so they could be the bad guys again..
