I Like You. (Chris)
Chris has been annoying you all day. Hes been poking you, pulling your hair, and squishing your cheeks. His brothers think its because he likes you, but you always shrug them off saying that he’s just annoying. So Nick devises a plan.
He ask both you and Chris to go look for Headbanz in the closet. Once you both are in, Matt slams the door and locks it. You fume at the situation your in along with the sound of Nick and Matt’s giggles from the other side of the door.
Chris nudges you to the side and starts banging on the door. “Hey let me out, its hot with two people, and you know what that means…I’m going to get itchy!” You laugh at him because getting itchy when you’re hot sounds like the stupidest problem one can have.
The more you think about it, the more you laugh. Your doubled over and unconsciously leaning your head on his chest while laughing, so he grabs your hips in an attempt to stablize you. Eventually, he starts laughing to the sound of you losing your mind, and it takes a while for you both to calm down.
Once you both finally stop laughing, you both back up and sit on the floor of the closet. Chris’ back is against the door and yours is against the wall. Your knees are touching because of the small space, but you don’t mind. Theres a comfortable silence going on while you and Chris scroll through Instagram. You hear a funny video on Chris’ phone and sit up to tell him you love that video, only to find him already looking at you. Your cheeks heat up and you look down at the floor. The way he’s looking at you now makes you want to run and hide but also get closer at the same time.
“I’m glad I made you laugh. Thats all I ever try to do, you know” he says honestly.
“Why is it your life goal to make me laugh?” You say still looking at your lap while playing with the strings on your sweatpants. You say it mostly in jest because you want to tease him for being corny as hell right now. But also out of complete curiosity, its not like it was THAT hard to make you laugh.
When you meet his eyes again, their scanning your entire face until they land on your lips. He licks his own lips and gives you a soft smile.
“Because I want you to like me as much as I like you” You smile, Nick and Matt were right and you couldn’t be happier.
“I already do”. You lean in to give him a kiss on the cheek and the door clicks open.
“Now was that so hard?” Nick throws his arms around exasperated. “Why did it take being stuck in a closet for you to admit the feelings you guys have had for eachother? Its ridiculous!”
You and Chris just stare at him with your mouths wide open. Matt stands behind him with a smug look on his face that screams “I knew it”
“YOU GUYS WERE LISTENING” you and Chris scream at the same time

warnings: reader has an eating disorder.
You and your sisters are family friends and ever since you’ve moved to LA, you’ve all been hanging out almost everyday. Thats why it didn’t go unnoticed that you’ve been upset these past two weeks. Not when everyone could see the dark circles under your eyes, your loss of appetite, and how much you spaced out. Chris and Nick even voiced there concern to your sisters when you left to go to the bathroom .
“I don’t know” Raina sighs. “Sometimes I hear her crying at night too. I tried to comfort her the first time I heard, but she got even more upset and pushed me away. Maybe she just need some space”
“Orrr she just needs to have some fun. BOWLING, WHOSE WITH ME” says Chris grinning from ear to ear. Nick rolls his eyes but laughs a little. “Your dumb as fuck”
Matt watched as everything went down and couldn’t help but worry even more. Out of everyone, Matt was the most bothered by your mental state. He was constantly checking on you even if you pushed him away, making sure you at least have a snack, and coming over to pick you up, even if you wanted to be alone. Chris and Nick made fun of him saying that he had a ‘little crush’
Matt sighs and walks to the bathroom because you’ve been in there for a while. He knocks on the door softly and puts his ear against it. He hears your soft sobs from the other side. “Y/n?” he says in a worried tone loud enough for you too hear on the other side. You cover your mouth to try and muffle your crying, but it does nothing to ease Matt. “Y/n let me in, I hear you crying”
Before you can respond he picks the lock and opens the door to find you sitting on the toilet seat with tears rolling down your face. His face drops and his eyes soften. “Oh sweetheart” he whispers softly as he comes in. He kneels down to your level and pulls you off the seat to him. He positions your head in the crook of his neck and sits all the way on the floor. You sob into his shirt and he whispers sweet nothings in your ear. “Your shaking. Come on talk to me, sweetheart. Whats going on?” You just sob harder at the question. How were you going to tell him that sometimes your mind does this to you. You felt so stupid.
You thought you got rid of your body dysmorphia. All it took was one mean joke from a random girl at work to set you off balance.
“Y/n you cannot post this picture. Your whole stomach is hanging out your shirt. Embarrasing” she practically sings
When you got home from your shift, you went sriaght to your mirror. The more you looked at yourself the more you hated yourself. You poked and proded at your stomach wanting to wish it away. You didn’t sleep or eat that night, or the night after that, or the night after tha-
“Hey, hey, come back to me.” Matt was now cupping your face making you look at him from your position on his lap. “Shh shhh, your okay” he reassures you as you finally look into his eyes. After a few seconds, he breaks the silence. “ I have to ask” he hesitates
“Do you have an eating disorder, Y/n?” he says sounding heartbroken. You immediately start to tear up again which already gave him his answer.
“You think your fat?”. He sounded almost breathless when he said it. Your face immediately heats up in embarrassment and shame at hearing it out loud. You nodd your head anyway, while tearing your eyes away from him. He moves your head signaling that he wants your eyes back on his again.
“Your not. Not even close. You have no idea how beautiful you are. Not just to me, to everyone.” You blush again but out of happiness.
“You think I’m beautiful” a long awaited smile spreads across your face in the first time in weeks. He immediately returns it
“How can I not?”

Matt Sturniolo Boyfriend Head Canons
Matts the type to spend the day with you and then some. When he has to leave for tours, YOUR COMING WITH HIM. You dont have a choice, you can’t get rid of him.
Answer this poor boy when he calls or texts. This man will PANIC. He’ll show up to your house if you go long enough without answering him. Not in a controlling or freaky kind of way though. He just misses you and wants to make sure your okay
Matt is the flowers type of guy. He’s bringing you your favorite flowers for no particular reason. He writes the cutest notes on the tags connected to them.
“Thought these were beautiful, and I instantly thought of you. I love you so much baby”
With everything he went through with his anxiety, hes become very emotionally intelligent. Whenever your upset, he knows exactly what to say to soothe you. When he’s upset, he doesnt hide it and has a conversation with you about it.
Loves the way you listen to him. He needs it because lord knows nick and chris dont let him speak lol. But in all seriousness, he folds when you remember the small things he says. Everytime you bring something up he said a while back, he gives you a soft kiss on your forehead.
Definetly plays with your hair a lot. Brushes it and tries to style it the best he can. If he doesnt know a lot about your hair type, he researches and gets you the best products.
Matts love language is definitely words of affirmation. He gives you compliments all the time.
“You look so pretty baby. Can’t take my eyes off you”
He is always calling you a sweet nickname, he NEVER calls you by your first name, even if hes angry.
He doesn’t have you be in his videos because he knows how hateful people can be towards girls he interacts with. He doesn’t want you to have to go through that. He talks about you in videos a lot though. To his surprise, fans actually love how much he loves you. Theres some jealous bitches out there, but he just blocks them and hides their comments so you never have to see them. Matt is protective of your emotions.

Chris is attached to you all day. Even if it's as simple as holding on to your pinky he never lets you go. Your touch just brings him so much happiness
He is a freaking comedian in your presence. Anytime he can squeeze in a joke he does, just so he can see you laugh. He loves knowing that he's the one making you smile.
You going to the grocery store? He's going to. You have a doctor appointment? He's there. He tells you its because he doesn't want you to have to be alone, which is partially true, but its mainly because he doesn't want to leave your side.
This man is a LISTENER. If you say your favorite food, tv show, animal, exc, he's gonna remember every single detail. If you two go to a store and you say something is cute in passing, the next day it will be sitting waiting for you
This one is small but cute. I feel like he stands on whatever side the sun is beaming on you to cover you in his shadow. It's his way of protecting you from the heat
If you are ever walking near a road, he makes sure you're standing on the far side from the road. Simple but cute.
Your first date is something super fun and exciting. I could see him spending days planning it to be just perfect. When you and him meet up, he's gonna be so excited to tell you all the plans he made. When he sees you enjoying yourself, that'd definitely make his day.
He makes you a model for his brand. And if you're insecure or camera shy he hypes you up until your willing. Ya'll can't change my mind about that one
He's a bit nervous at first, especially with his fear of relationships, but you make him so comfortable. He compliments you about being able to do that all the time. He appreciates your love so much
