When we hear the word Rebellious we often think of disobedience; but sometimes following Jesus means we have to be Rebellious in some areas in our lives.
How many times have you been in a place where God told you something, but people told you otherwise?
NEVER doubt the word God gave you, even if people around you say the contrary.
And let me be clear... Not always our ways will be correct, not even by believing that God spoke to us. You see, the heart is treacherous, we can't trust blindly. So, PRAY IT OUT until you have the certainty that it was God speaking. Like Gedeon, look for confirmation and if you receive it, act on it, because God will be with you.
Do not conform with others opinions, follow Gods voice. Even if you seem rebellious to others.
Be Rebellious with a cause; and always make sure that cause is JESUS.

But perfect love comes rushing in
And all the lies screamed inside go silent
The moment You begin
 I’m letting go

We can't expect to hear Gods voice audible every time. It is not the way He frequently speaks. But rest assured because He still speaks. He can speak to us in different ways. But the most common way, and the one that leads us closer to His heart, is the Word. When we read the bible we get to him and our purpose better. How do we know if someone spoke from God? Or that what I felt in the Spirit was God? Simple! When God speaks there is TRANSFORMATION. Nothing can stay the same, and we begin to see fulfillment of the word we were given. Our heart fill with conviction, hope and direction. We do not feel we are moving by emotions, we feel His presence. Do not settle to hear God speak to you by using other people. Thank God for them; but seek him in such level that he won't need another person because he can speak directly to you. -V

How many times have we heard “Come has you are” or “Everyone is welcome”? Furthermore, how many times have we said it?
Another question. How many people have we heard saying “I do not want to be a christian”?
It may sound strange, but both of these questions go hand in hand; because, if we accepted people “as they are”, they wouldn’t be saying “I do not want to be a christian”.
The problem is we become judges. We judge the boy with blue hair, the single teenager with children, or the one with tattoos... All of this BEFORE we give them a chance to know God.
The Holy Spirit works in different ways with each and one of us. We can not expect the same results from each person who accepts Christ. Some people changed in a day; but others may need weeks, months , or even years to fully be changed by God.
And no, I am not referring to an outside transformation.  Because I believe that the boy with blue hair can have an even more deeper relationship with God than us. I am talking about the transformation that begins in our hearts and grows all the way to the outside. The kind of transformation that creates a glow in our faces and an everlasting joy.
What could happen if we truly accepted people “as they are”?
I will give you a clue,
The world?... could CHANGE!

There is no favoritism! (v.1-11)
Paul shows us that is not "ok" to judge peoples lives if our lives are the same as theirs. We should accept the forgiveness of God and convert our steps. We can receive forgiveness and salvation as everybody else. (Romans 2:11 NLT) When the word refers to gentiles it is referring to you and me, that receive the good news through the adoption the Father gives through the sacrifice of Jesus.
There are no excuses! (v.12-16)
God let our conscience to work as a parameter that would show us good and evil. If we still didn't have the word of correction, our Bibles, we would still have our conscience that would have corrected us to follow the great path.
There shouldn't be hypocrisy! (v.17-29)
If you teach something, then follow it! Don't live a life of hypocrisy teaching something that you are not able to follow. If you're a Christian, be a real Christian. Those who accept their mistakes, forgive the mistakes of others, and helps those who fall. Because they know how it felt to be there.

The world we live in right now is a fast paced place. No matter where we are or our age; there will always be something new to learn.
As believers we all come from different generations, cultures, approaches to God, and so much more; but being different in one or more of these aspects shouldn't limit our faith, or the Passion we have to bring and welcome others to Christ.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Open your hearts to the new times and people in the world. We need to change those stereotypes created, because not everyone will come forth as we want them to, rather they will be much different. Accept everyone who wants to know Christ. Expand your mind, and you will begin to see in people the potential God sees in them. Do not conform yourself with what you see; try to see like God sees and...
“Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do. And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with—even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:1‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Why do I go to Church on Sundays? Why do I belief what I believe? Why do I approach the Gospel like that? Why don’t people get to know Christ?
Some of these questions and more are the ones that we as christians ask ourselves. As believers we may believe or do things just because someone thought it to us, but we do not stop to think…. is there more?
Has a matter of fact there is. There is so much more to our christian life than going to Church every sunday, or listening to our favorite songs during the week. God is more than we think; and his plans for us are much bigger than we belief.
So, Why be conformed? Join me for 10 weeks as we learn to open our eyes and start to be Noncomformists of what we have, and where we are.

Let us begging to see little things about the book of Romans, starting today.
There are four things I would like to point out of Romans 1:
1. To pray for others (v.9 NLT) Paul speaks of how great have the people he is addressing been. There he lets them know that God is his witness that he presented them in every prayer he could, and their need too. Is it necessary to pray for our brothers and sisters, even when they look like they are better than us? Yes!
2. There is no selection! (v.14-15 NLT) Thanks to Jesus Christ and his sacrifice, today WE ARE ALL ABLE TO RECEIVE THE "GOOD NEWS". No selection of some. The ones who are okay, and the ones who are not… well… THEM TOO!
3. It is impossible to receive the "good news" without faith. Is impossible to breathe without it. Because life is not life, without faith (v.17 NLT). We all have to understand that what we see is not all. The biological life is not the only life there is. Just because we "live" in body, it does not mean we live as a whole. "There are thousands of ways to die, and still be walking".
4. Paul mentions a lost of sins that are committed by those who don't recognize and accept God (v.18-32 NLT). They are committed because we want to. Because if you look back to #2 "There is no selection". We can all accept Jesus. Just remember that sin will always have its consequences.

How beautiful it is to praise, worship and honor God when everything is okay; but let me ask you something... Do you honor and seek him with that same intensity when things are falling apart? When you do not have that job, when your family is not what you want it to, when your children are rebellious or your parents do not understand you? God loves when we give Him his place in our lives, when we put him first. No matter what goes on around you ALWAYS seek him first. Do not seek him only when you are doing great; but seek him even harder when you are feeling weak and far from him. That worship - The sacrificed One - is really special to Him, because he understands that you know he is in control and you trust him, even if it seems everything around you is falling. The secret to be a true worshipper is not on the things we see, but in the Faith we put in God amidst our circumstances. So, sing,shout,dance,preach... Because God will do great things. -V

“It’s like a vessel, It once was broken but now it is getting fixed.”
This picture above is something that touched me deeply. My best friend said it to me. You see, Friendships are not easy. We cannot expect our friends to be perfect, but we can all work together to correct those minimal imperfections that keep us apart. So, If you are struggling with different situations on a friendship, DON’T RUN AWAY! Hold on to Gods hand and watch as He helps the friendship grow spiritually and physically. And while you and your friend/s begin trusting in God remember these words below: Sometimes we just walk around and dwell on all our broken parts and we forget that we have a Father who is bigger than any of the Scars or pain that we are feeling. We refuse to be fixed, we like to be broken. But God did not make you to stay broken, if He permitted your breakdown it was only so he could fix you up, if He allowed your friendship to be tested its because He has something bigger with it. He wants to fix you, your friends, your family and everyone around you. So you could all finally be the BEAUTIFUL VESSEL you were supposed to be from the start. -V
