Huddersfield Carnival'2012
The City Of Huddersfield Was Plagued With Carnival Fever This Weekend As The Crowd Of 30,000 Came To Be Amazed By A Flavour Of The Caribbean.
Huddersfield's Annual Caribbean Carnival Continued This Weekend In Incredible Fashion As The Essence Of Caribbean Culture Roamed The Cities Streets. The Carnival Had Much To Offer From The Spectacular Street Parade That Attracted Many With The Extravagant Costumes and Expressive Dance Troupes To The Variety Of Caribbean Food Stalls That Offer Authentically Cooked Traditional Caribbean Food.
The Day Began With The Extraordinary Street Parade That Took Place In The Heart Of Huddersfield's City Centre, The Parade Was Host To Many Of The Long Anticipated Costumes That The Vibrant and Wonderful Dance Troupes Had To Offer! Many Locals Were To Be Greatly Impressed With Sound Of Soca Music That Resonated Through The Streets Of Their City Centre
.. The Parade Descended Into The Town Square Leading All The Impressed Followers Towards The Town Square To Proceed The Spectacle To Main Stage Where They Would Host Talent From Around The U.K .. Throughout The Day The Crowd Gave An Electric Response To The Brave Performers, Comfortably Welcoming Each And Every Performance
.. The Main Stage Was Host To Many Great Performers! After The Parade The Troupes Each Had An Opportunity To Present Their Talents To The Vast Crowd With Their Own Freestyle Presentation, Giving All The Performers The Chance To Shine!

.. Were Amongst Many Of The Foods Available In Huddersfield This Weekend, All Giving Locals The Opportunity To Experience Some Of The Great Food The Caribbean Had To Offer!

DunnDunnDunnnnnn!
Finally!! .. The day so largely anticipated had arrived!
WIRELESS FESTIVAL 2012 .. 07.07.2012
Success from the previous day before had so many anxious for the today’s events
.. As reams and reams of people continued their pilgrimage into Hyde Park you could feel the dense atmosphere that pulsated through the sea of foot soldiers standing at attention as they waited to be initiated into the arena. You can’t help but sense the overwhelming feeling of liberation as the pride takes over, because now after 237 days of waiting you have finally found what you’ve been looking for!
(… Well Perhaps A Slight Exaggeration But It Was Something Along Those Lines.)
There were many great artists and performers to look forward to on the day, so a schedule was well needed. My schedule was prepared for great artists such as: Angel, Sneakbo, TheDream, Labrinth, TheWeeknd, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj & The Days Headliner ... None other than Young Moneys own ... Drizzy Drake! ...
Me and My Band Of Ravers Had Decided On The Idea To Give Ourselves A Preview Of The Whole Venue Before Settling At The Stage That We Would be our main source of enjoyment at but upon realising that this festival space was much larger than we expected (much much larger than we expected) we made our way over to the main stage, where many had already ascended in order to view a brilliant performance from Roc Nation’s Rita Ora.
“I Know Your Gonna Love It Cause Its Hot Right Now”
.. She Wasn’t Lying!
.. She tore up the stage with an amazing but considerably short performance, only fitting in her two newest singles; ‘R.I.P’ and ‘How We Do’ as well as ‘Hot Right Now’ and a new song from her latest album.
.. On To The Next One!
SNEAKBO! ANGEL! ADZ&SHALLOW!
.. All definitely got a fire going with their performances at the unwind stage and had everyone singing word for word without fail! Definitely worth while performances from them!
We also caught ‘Mistajam: Speakerboxx Live’ as he took full control of The Pepsi Max Stage, adjacent to the main stage. And for the whole day the atmosphere was electric! - He had everything from jungle, to dubstep and bashment Vibes. But it was now time to bring on some more performers
… Labrinth !!!!
Besides the underlying scent of alcohol and low oxygen levels, Labrinth’s performance was completely enjoyable and had the whole tent skanking from wall to wall... AND THEN!

The Weeknd was announced to be coming to the stage! With the continuously resonating goodbye from Labrinth’s Earthquake ; “Throw Bombs On It… Throw Bombs On It... Throw Bombs On It” We see a gale force thrust ripple through the crowd from back to front, a danger warning from security fail to calm the unrested as they sway from wall to wall hoping to keep their balance and stay out of danger! I witness a boy who fainted in the dangerous whips of the onlookers and struggling to make it out but still no calm in the ten, not even with the soothing tone of R Kelly’s Bump’n’Grind (that was Misterjam’s attempt at calming the atmosphere inside the tent.)
Once considerably more settled, the audience is greeted by backing musicians preparing on stage. The survivors of the epic waves prior became more anxious! Then in true rock star fashion, wearing a denim Sleeveless jacket over a black ‘Thursday’ sweatshirt The Weeknd dashed out to do his set. The Weeknd rocks his set in an electrifying manor and doesn’t disappoint his fans. The dying chants of “OVOXO” being shouted as people left the tent!

Last weekend Wireless Festival Held Its 7th Annual Event At Hyde Park, London and Since the launch of the tickets in November 2011 there has been a Continuous Anticipating Buzz to Date ..
Many Great Performers Were set to go on stage, Such as, Santogold, Modestep, Childish Gambino, Ms Dynamite and Maverick Sabre but It Seemed That Non made the Crowd as anxious as the Long Awaited, Canadian House Producer 'Deadmau5' !!
The day had a good vibe about it for many of the die hard 'FestivalJunkies' , Although the day consisted of many heavy showers in many parts of the day, They weren't about to let that spoil the electric atmosphere in the air as Deadmau5 prepared to Rock the Main Stage ..
