The reality crumbled and it finally sink to them.
you don't love the, you have never loved them, it was a-mere delusion! No one can love them-
They thought, you did love them. You did not care so much about whatever they did and what not. Sure, sometimes you would scream seeing a dead body but you not loving them back? That's unexpected! They did everything for you, they even killed the people who were mean to you and is this what you give to them?
Of course you were scared when you had been abducted and of course you were (not) happy when you got everything. You were happy! You loved them! You-
and this time the reality crumbled and they'd fallen apart as the words took time to sink in. "I don't love you."
Were they really a monster? They only thought you loved them and vice versa, was this too much?
"Please love me back, at least say those words to me once, please, I beg you." They uttered the words and had your body in a tight grasp which was meant to be a hug. A hug to stop you from leaving, a hug to have them believe their own illusion, delusion or whatever the fuck it was. Just to have their reality from crumbling.
