hi i am back after years of non-posting while trying to get back into journaling & nonsense spreads

this is something i made a few months ago with cutouts from a 70s cinema magazine

it's amazing how little things used to make me so happy now i don't feel anything anymore

journal page 46/? I went to a bookfair yesterday at which my chinese teach presented his translation of Yuhua’s book ‘To Live’ and mr. Yuhua was there as well (ofc) and he fricking signED MY BOOK I WAS SO EXCITED I almost cried; (watercolouring on the right inspired by Carol Hannah)

journal page 41/? I had to write an essay on victorian literature this tuesday and only had 3 hours of sleep and I decided to make up for it by sleeping literally 15h and waking up in the middle of the night just to eat #uni (the ideas for these 2 pages are not mine)

my disertation should be on hongkongese gay films but have i started yet? no :) should i? yes? what am i doing instead of writing something i enjoy or enjoyed at least? letting people minimize my passions and turn myself into what they desire

page about some year 1 of uni adventures with my friend who i somehow managed not to lose contact with when i actually cut off all the people in my life except for the toxic ones

last spring me and my friend decided that the next day we take the train to the seaside so that’s what we did, on a sat. morning at 6am. we spent all day at the beach and it was sunny but we were wearing all black. we spent hours on the shore just looking at the sea sitting in silence taking photos of each other and picking up seashells. a storm started when we had to leave and we were running in the rain trying to catch our train back home and it was really nice i hope i could do that again.
