Six of Crows , Chapter 2

A short rough animation I made back in April : )

This art form is called Kalamkari. It is a traditional Indian style in which artists originally use dull natural colors to paint on cloths with a fine tipped Kalam ( brush ) . The subjects of these artworks are usually Hindu gods and goddesses, flaura and fauna, which are rendered with minute detailing. This piece has been done on an A3 size art sheet using poster colors and a black pen
