So, I'm rewatching again and I randomly thought about something.

With the way Beth took care off Judith during the whole prison era and the amount of songs she sang to her (very much on screen!), how did they miss the opportunity to have her sing "Hey Jude" by the Beatles to her?

I feel like it's such an obvious choice and would sound so pretty as an acoustic version.

Has anyone ever had this thought or am I crazy?

I am unwell.

I feel like this episode tore my heart into pieces and fixed it up again all in a time span of round about 45 minutes.

This was a true masterpiece. It felt like a Fanfiction coming to life. And watching it had me in a whirlwind of emotions throughout the whole episode.

It's almost 4 am and I am unable to fall asleep because I feel just as broken as Rick looked the moment Michonne gave him the phone with Carl's portrait on it.

Today's top three dialogue moments that broke my entire existence:

3. “You're the love of my life. i couldn't just let you go. It felt like my heart ripped itself out of my chest and walked out the door"

2. "Carl. They took Carl. I lost him again."

1. "I can't live without you. Without you, I die."

Anyways, I'm gonna go rewatch and cry again. What else am I supposed to do?

I am unable to comprehend the happenings of this episode. I am genuinely overwhelmed with so many emotions, I think I won't be able to sleep tonight.

OK but fr Stefan's game vs Damon's game when it came to each of them having a "fuck it" moment and making a move with Elena is laughable to compare. Like how is anyone with their whole chest going to try to say that Damon kissing Elena on the porch holds a candle to Stefan literally just staring at Elena at the Ball? Like??? Be serious everyone. The whole flue outbreak storyline is honestly so terrifying. They're all crowded in limited space and have to improvise a way to deal with a highly contagious sickness, while keeping the prison secure during all the walker herd attacks.

It's a lot.

Wow, when Andrea dies and they bring the Woodbury people into the prison it's so bittersweet.

I always forget how much of an impact this has on the group, cause I never really liked Andrea. But her death hits hard.

And one of the last things she tells Rick before she dies is: "I know how the safety works." Isn't that the exact same line she says, when Amy dies and they try to get her away from the corpse?

They really know how to write a story man...

Merle's death hits harder than I expect every single time I re-watch this show. It's probably because of Daryl but still, ouch.

Daryl breaking down is so big, because it barely ever happens. It hurts to watch.

Glenn asking Maggie to marry him is beautiful.

No big words. No over dramatic knee fall. Just them and a moment of silence in this loud chaotic mess they live in.

And the scene with Hershel in which Glenn asks for his approval is beautiful too. Because Hershel doesn't hasitate for even a second. He trusts Glenn and he knows that he'll keep his daughter safe and make her as happy as he can. And even though they can't have a real wedding, Glenn just wants Maggie to know. He wants her to know that she is the person he loves most and wants to spend the rest of his life with.

All of this is beautiful. They are couple goals.

Im sick and tired of all this Governor shit.

Our group wasn't a threat to him at all, at least not until they kidnapped Maggie and Glenn.

But even then he could've just left them alone. There was no reason to break down their fences and there was no reason for all that war crap.
