In the name of Jesus, I rebuke every wind and sea, every tempest raging around me. They bow at the name of Jesus the son of God. They cease right now, as great calm takes over in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Thank God For All-Round Blessings in your Broad Place

My understanding of ‘Broad Place’ - a place where you can thrive, where there is opportunity for you to grow, have dominion, and make a living. Whenever I remember God’s promise to His children, I thank God for the promise that extends to us, and remind Him to plant me in that broad place.

2 Samuel 22:20 ESV He brought me out into a broad place; He rescued me, because he delighted in me.

Exodus 31:2 MEV See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

Father, as I read this 👆🏼I am reminded that you called Bezalel by name, you knew him.

Exodus 31:3-6 MEV I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of craftsmanship to devise artistic works for work with gold, with silver, and with bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of craftsmanship. I, indeed, I have given him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, and I have given skill to all who are specially skilled, that they may make everything that I have commanded you:

Reading on, I see that You not only knew and called him by name, but You gave him gifts, and helpers (Oholiab and others) that would enable him “make everything” You wanted made according as You instructed Moses.

Wow, Lord. I imagine that You did this in order to fulfill what You intended should be done. I know that You know me have given me gifts too. Use me Lord, show me how to identify and use my difference in the service You have called me to, in Jesus’s name I ask.

Waiting To Exhale

… thy right hand upholdeth me. (Psalm 63:8 KJV)

Father, thank You for upholding me throughout situations that could have broken me. I was practically slammed from one moment to the next, but Your right hand upheld me. I wept daily, but Your right hand upheld me. Things went from bad to ugly but Your right hand held me upright especially in the face of darkness, accusations, disappointment, and betrayals.

I may not be the best child You have, but I love You in spite of my errant ways. Thank You for not losing faith in me.

Today, I’m still standing because of Your love and that righteous right hand that has kept me afloat and brought me from the point where I waited to exhale.

Thank You Lord. Because of You I’m still here and I can praise You again and again with all the muster You put in me. Because of You I can inhale and exhale the breath of Your love and goodness. Thank You Lord, thank You.

Thank You Lord…

for being my strength and my song, for being my Redeemer, Deliverer, Creator, my Father.

Only You are so many things to me. You are the One who lifts up my head, the One who wakes me up every day. You are my Provider - feeding, and clothing me; giving me my heart’s desires.

Without You in my life the waves of life would toss me from side to side without hope of safety. I make my boast in the Lord of Hosts, and the Most High God. Thank You for being my Rock, for gifting me with Salvation through Christ, and for being with me always.

My heart overflows with thanks, remembering the really large, and really small things You have done. As I go to sleep, I shall continue to thank You Lord, for giving me abundant life. I am so grateful that You have grafted me into Your family. Thank You for numerous blessings Lord. All the glory, might, riches, and adoration are Yours.

Isaiah 42:18-20 TLB

Oh, how blind and deaf you are toward God! Why won't you listen? Why won't you see?

Who in all the world is as blind as my own people, who are designed to be my messengers of truth? Who is so blind as my "dedicated one," the "servant of the Lord"?

You see and understand what is right but won't heed nor do it; you hear, but you won't listen.

Our Father in Heaven

Thank You for the word You have made available in the Bible; thank You for pointing out that Your people are blind and deaf. Thank You for pointing out also that Your people are “robbed, enslaved, imprisoned, trapped, fair game for all, with no one to protect them” (Isaiah 42:22). Most of all, thank You for making a way of escape through Jesus for it is written, “ … You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you. Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it! …” (John 14:12-14 TLB).

Give Your people new 👀 to see, and 👂🏼 to hear what You are saying in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen 🙏🏼
