BASIC RULES: Total anonymity throughout event, no assignment swapping or discussion in public spaces, Prospit is ALL AGES with a rating limit while Derse is 18+ with no rating limit, all assignments are given by email, no shipping wars or participant bullying allowed.
Here are some sign-up reminders for REQUESTS:
Always select "Homestuck" as your fandom.
Three Homestuck Prime prompts are required, the rest can be as Friendsim / Hiveswap / Hauntswitch as you like.
Include at least 3 characters per request, but no more than 6.
Don't double up on ship requests. Get diverse!
Mention ALL squicks. If you don't share, we don't know what to avoid matching you to! [Squicks includes things like NOTPs, kinks, phonetic quirks. You may also write a Dear Gifter Letter.]
Keep your prompt open-minded! We have artists AND authors in this event; you could be matched to either.
This is not a commission. Your request is a fun prompt, not a list of requirements.

Mention ALL squicks. If you won't make something for a ship, a character, or a theme: let us know in your offer!

Get detailed. What are you good at? What do you want to make? What prompts are your favorite type?

April 14th 2024 is our 37th Polyam Shipping Day.
The optional theme for it is: 🧲 Attraction 🎢
This could be someone attracted to another person, not just romantically and/or sexually, but other types too, like platonically, emotionally, sensually, aesthetically, intellectually. Do they recognise their attraction? How do they deal with it, do they act on it? Alternatively, this could be attraction to a place or thing to see, like a tourist attraction, attractions at a theme park or circus, or whatever is considered 'the main attraction' to somewhere, the main reason to go there or do something. Also it could be an attraction of something, what makes it interesting or desirable, like the attraction of a job could be the high pay. Then there's attraction in science - forces of attraction in physics e.g. magnetism, chemical bonds, or the biology of physical attraction.

We’ll be tracking #PolyamShippingDay, and keeping an eye out for any @polyamships mentions too. We will reblog any polyam-positive fanworks featuring polyamorous ships of any configuration/type from any fandom. All ratings are welcome but anything nsfw/triggery should be warned for and behind a read more, as should very long tumblr fic.
You can also submit works directly to the blog or send us asks to let us know to check your blog for a post. If you’re posting on AO3, our collection name is ‘PolyamShippingDay‘ and you can post to the collection here. Only fanworks submitted/@ us on tumblr or in the official AO3 collection, or fanworks posted to our Dreamwidth community, are guaranteed to be included in our roundup. Please also let us know what prompt you created for, if any - people are always welcome to create for past prompts instead.

The DC/Marvel Crossover server is proud to present our summer Pool Noodle Party! Celebrating the rarest crossover pairs, both platonic and romantic.
Please come paddle around the shallow end of the pool with us and commiserate!

For our purposes, a “pool noodle” is a relationship tag that comes up with less than 30 hits on Ao3. Platonic (&) relationships count!
We have six themes. Each theme will have a week for posting creations (prompt lists coming soon) and a week for celebrating — giving feedback and leaving comments. We’ll share everything that was created the previous week and try to spread the love, but also post rec lists of our favorite older fics that fit the theme.
May 25 - June 7: “the big three,” aliens, androids archers, & (tech) wizards
June 8 - June 21: Who run the world? (Girls!)
June 22 - July 5: To hell (or Hell’s Kitchen) and back
July 6 - July 19: Supers (-heroes, -villains, -boys, -girls, and/or soldiers)
July 20 - August 2: Mercs & murder husbands
August 3 - August 16: We’re all in this together (poly ships and/or found families)
Any and all DC/Marvel crossover relationships with less than 30 fics on Ao3 are welcome.
Participants are strongly encouraged to get involved in feedback week and not only creation week! The unfortunate truth of the pool noodle is that it can feel like a very lonely way to float; crossovers are more likely to slip through the cracks of Ao3 searches, and they frequently don’t get the love they deserve. The best way to encourage more of them is to comment and let writers know that there’s an audience out there.
Prompt lists will also include a list of fics within the theme whose writers are open to podfic, art, etc, in case you’d like to do an “inspired by” work.
Themes are relatively loose, so your ship might fit multiple themes — that’s fine! Entirely up to you when you post.

Hey there! Is Polyship Week still happening for 2024? Had a blast with it last year and excited to do it again this year!
Hello and thanks for asking!
Your humble mod was originally planning to run this in the spring again this year, but has been, frankly, overcome by Life Events, SO rather than rush, we are gonna take the opportunity to make a move we've been considering since the first year and migrate this event to align with Polyamory Day!
Update your calendars, tell your friends and partners and metas:
Polyship Week returns November 17th – 23rd!
Expect to see prompt polling in the coming months — we wanna hear what you wanna make! The "draw your squad"/visual prompts last year were a big hit, so we'll especially be taking suggestions for those.

In the spirit of this month, we invite you to create works in any medium using the prompts above if you need a little inspiration.
