Didn’t have the time to play the new event too much, but after starting recently it made me realise how much I miss the previous year’s one 🥹 The crew and their interactions were just perfect and I absolutely adored the set design and storytelling of each island and domain! Even though some puzzles were, well, a bit confusing at first hahah, I had a lot a lot of fun!

Especially because storytelling in those domain was peak Genshin content for me, I was absolutely stunned by the way they showed each character and make a perfect break down of them

And for the whole month the event was lasting I always had things to do there and explore, I’m pretty sure I only did 75% of the puzzles actually, cause there was just so much to do!! But I didn’t feel bad about it, I really enjoyed the fact I always knew there is something to do and play around with, and the story was just such a cherry on top! Story and design-wise of my absolutely favourite events so far 🙇🏻‍♀️

Edit: did you also notice all the character in the event were featured in all the events mentioning Scaramouche? 👀

I started this blog because drawing all those sketches made me smile a lot too and knowing it wasn't just me makes me very happy! 💖

Sometimes I scroll through twitter and once in a while I randomly bump into my drawings being on people's pfps (and credited! Haha :D) and it makes me so happy to see them floating around!

Haven't had the time to draw in the past couple of months and all of this makes me very excited to go back to drawing soon!

Thank you! >:D I’m sure I can provide some samples, but not sure which ones are you guys interested in?

Let me know which art you want to see the process for because I have all of them, since I mostly use Procreate!

This one I havent posted before since it’s still a WIP, but then it has the most chaotic process out of all my sketches, so it might be interesting to see, haha! Most of the time I just draw the sketch without any base and just refine it on the go (most of the works I posted here were done like that), sometimes I sketch something looser first and here is the example of that!

Here is the preview of it:

For coloring my process is still shaping, because I’m still learning how to paint and choose better colors and my rendering is all over the place, but if you are interested I can always show something!

Another example of using a simpler looser sketch as a base for a more detailed one

(I originally was planning to draw all of anemo crew in „fav element/characters” template but then i scrapped it to do this sketch instead)

This will be a long answer cause I think I'll use the opportunity to write few words about my thoughts on drawing Kazu:

It's actually funny because I somehow always remembered him being such a soft and positive character from the very start, but then someone streamed to me playing through the Inazuma Prologue (where he and the region are introduced) and HE WAS SO DIFFERENT then i remembered, pretty sarcastic and really rough at times (he literally threatens the Shogun like it's nothing?? 😭 and that thief guy--) and did not have the same warmth he had in later quests (especially the latest encounters have been SO WHOLESOME) until the last scene of that quest, with the backstory animation with Tomo which opens him up a lottt

I absolutely love drawing that guy, but it was pretty funny to see my first impression was somehow so different from what it should have been? And how different he is written at the moment in general (I absolutely adore how wholesome he is :'D) But I guess I sometimes also keep the original encounter in mind when I draw him haha

In the end he feels to me like this, hmm mystical poetic character that is actually just a normal guy trying to live a happy life haha, complaining like everyone else and with really strong sense of reason, and under all these sophisticated words and metaphors he resonates to me as very very human

Well, I really really like where his arc has been going and how they handled the character in general! Can't wait to see him hopefully soon and you can expect many more drawings then >:D

Just adding a random sketch from a year ago, since I have tons of these :p If i remember correctly, it's just referenced from the GAA cutscene last summer

And as you probably know he is my absolute favourite hehe
