I’m back! It’s been like 2 years since I regularly posted nail art, and I am back with a winner of a mani here. If  you are on the lookout for some killer nail art for Halloween then look no further than these Killer nail wraps from Espionage Cosmetics. 

They were super easy to apply and iron out any creases and I love the glittery blood drips. I highly recommend using a regular topcoat or a Gel one for the best finish, but definitely do not use a quick dry topcoat.

Last week my awesome @polishconuk order arrived so I am slowly trying to make my way through that. I only got 2 polishes but I got the 2 plates as well. First up is Get Me Off of This Planet from @cure_nails_ an awesome Loki themed polish, It is a beautiful deep, dark green jelly polish packed with flakies that shift from gold to green! It applied beautifully and dried fast and was perfect in 3 thin coats. Then I topped it off with a coat of Seche Vite. It also looks beautiful with a matte topcoat, I used Barry M Matte topcoat. I am so happy I had some of these little Loki nail charms left so I can wear it with this polish. Last week was the 31st anniversary of the first episode of the awesome show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I’m sure you have all watched at least one episode of it, but if like me you have watched them all numerous times, which is your favourite episode or scene? I love the episode where he is on a date and they get trapped, and she starts taking off her hair, nails, eyelashes… it’s hilarious. But the the scene where Will is upset because his dad didn’t turn up, 🥲 gets me every time 😭 There are so many good bits from the series though. Anyway, I saw an image, which gave me some nail inspiration, and if you swipe to the last photo you can see that image. I adore how these turned out, and I love them with a matte topcoat the best. On 9/9/1999 (22 years ago) the Dreamcast was first released in the USA. So I thought I’d knock up a quick Dreamcast inspired mani, which I LOVE. This is Esme’s Deep Marine from @barrymcosmetics Esme is a young girl who is currently battling Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and while she has been in the hospital, she has been filling her time with doing people’s nails and raising money through @esmesmanicurechallenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. Look how gorgeous Prism Sentence from @prismpolishuk is! You can never go wrong with a holo blurple. As always, the Prism Polish formula is spot on and the polish applies beautifully, getting the perfect coverage in 2 coats. Photos show 2 coats with one coat of Prism Polish Glaze topcoat. Although the holo is strong, adding the topcoat just gives it that tiny bit of an extra sparkle, and obviously extend the wear you get from the polish, so I do recommend using a topcoat. It honestly looks amazing when the sun hits it, I’m currently wearing on both fingers and toes. I didn’t get the chance to do some Loki nails for the final but I really wanted to do some basic Variant jacket nails. The series was sooooo good, who is your favourite variant? Of course, as is the usual practice, I went to find a polish that was the right colour and I have zero khaki brown polishes, this is the closest I had. I used @dystopianailpolish The Original then stamped the letters using @barrymcosmetics Tangerine and the Lantern & Wren fantasy stamping plate. I haven’t read a book in 2 years 🙈 and I previously loved reading, but the weight of just all this *gestures wildly* stuff and the fatigue, and everything that goes along with a chronic illness impeded me. But this year I was determined to read at least ONE full book, and the book I chose was V.E. Schwab’s A Darker Shade of Magic. Once I pushed through the first few pages, I was hooked! I finished it in only a few days. I loved it and I’m now on the third book of the series. Obviously I am entirely obsessed with this series and I really wanted to do some nail art inspired by it and this is what I came up with. I have just finished a comforting rewatch of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, one of my favourite tv shows, and I thought it was a great time to use my Biffy stamping plate designed by the talented @fleurdelaclaw and made by @apipilacosmeticos And what else but the Grr Argh monster goes at the end of Buffy?! I wanted it to be a simple but sparkly mani so I used Kbshimmer Stark Raven Mad for my base and stamped with Maniology Bam! white. I am keeping my nails short at the moment because they’re still suffering from breakages, as you can see from my thumb and I’m actually enjoying having shorties. After doing my Diablo nails, I remembered that Jim had bought me a Mortal Kombat @apipilacosmeticos stamping plate from @polishedgamers last years and I wanted to finally get round to using that. This didn’t quite work out how I wanted it to though. I did a fluid mani for the base and it was beautiful, but I forgot to take photos of it before I added the nail art, and it ended up being a little too busy for the mani. I finally got this absolute beauty on my nails! This is Lord of Fear from @cosmeticospenelopeluz and I snagged this along with the Diablo plate from the Diablo @polishedgamers that was months ago. Yes, it’s taken me that long! But I am so glad I grabbed this polish. This is 3 coats with a coat of Seche Vite. It’s dried fast and to a semi gloss finish. The flakies are super shifty and shift a little even in low light. They range through gold, green, orange, red, pink and purple and I even noticed flashes of blue. Have another throwback while I recover from being exhausted, I’m so happy with how the shop update went, you guys love the trinket boxes and planchettes, think I’ll have to make more but better. This throwback mani is my save screen nail art, which I still think looks awesome. Obviously you read it going across the nails and not per nail as some smart ass did when I first posted them. When was the last time that you sat down and had a full and satisfying session on a game? And which game was it? It’s been ages for me, think ACNH was the last one. I just can’t shut off and relax at the moment, but I’m tempted to get on Torchlight 2 or Skyrim.
