hi, I have found an issue with your functional loom mod. Whenever the loom is placed on a lot, it makes sims not be able to put books away in bookshelves or food into fridges. Sims are able to take books and food out though.

Hey friend, not sure if you're still doing anything for the functional loom mod, but I'm having a little trouble? For some reason i can't do anything with Wool. I've got cottage living (though i know it's not necessary) and my sim has wool in their inventory, but when I chose 'weave woolen fabric' the screen that comes up is empty. There aren't any woolen fabrics listed or anything, and when I go to 'buy materials' there's no wool there either? Not sure what's wrong or if I missed an update?

Hi! Actually I recently updated the Loom for issue that prevented Sims from going to the bookcase. I didn't observe any problem with the menu for woolen items. Does your Sim has the needed skill level to see the content on the screen? They need higher level if I remember correctly they need at least level 4 of weaving to see woolen items. Also since the mod was made prior to Cottage Living I only added compatability, but your Sims can't buy wool from the interaction to buy materials, because people who don't own Cottage Living will have error starting the game.

Jewelry Stall

*City Living Expansion Pack is REQUIRED for the Modern Stall*

*Seasons Expansion Pack is REQUIRED for the Medieval Stall*

How it Works:

Go into Build/Buy mode and search for the Jewelry Stall (or you can find it under Outdoor Activities). Place it on the lot.

Click on the stall and click “Hire Vendor” (it’s cost free)

Once the vendor is in the stall, click to bring up the menu

There is only one menu:

Purchase Jewelry - there are 30 different types available, the jewelry will be placed directly in your Sim’s inventory once bought.

Items Interactions:

Can be place in the world as a decor, or kept in the Sim’s inventory

Can be resold on Plopsy

Can be worn (when you press on the object you have two options to wear it and take it off, if you are familiar with my the Loom, the interaction is the same like with the weavable clothes).

One worn it gives one of 2 random moodlets

Credits:

If you use my Loom, you probably remember that I have very tough relationship with CAS objects, so all creadit for the creation of the CAS jewelry with all the complicated detials like design, vertex and weight transfer goes to my friend Geri.

Functional Loom

Guys! ITS HERE!! Oh, God! I’m so excited to announce that the Loom is ready and waiting to be part of your gameplay!

I worked so hard on it, I really hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!

Intro

Weaving is a method of textile production in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads are interlaced at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. Cloth is usually woven on a loom, a device that holds the warp threads in place while filling threads are woven through them.

What this mod gives you?

This mod will enchance your gameplay by adding a new functional object, custom skill, a bunch of different craftables (including wearable clothes), custom animation, custom preference, new online store for shopping and different ways to sale your products!

Functional Object

You can find Leah’s Lovely Loom by typing ‘Loom’ in the search bar or under indoor activities/hobbies/ activities (creative)

It costs 1000$

And it comes in 5 different colors (recolors allowed, do NOT include the mesh).

Loom Placement

This part is important, read it fully!

The Loom requires an object to be placed on! You can find the loom placement under the counters category and it costs 2$.

To create the loom the way it is, with the visual effect of carpet and proper positioning of the custom animation I had to use the coffee machine object. I tried to make it without needing placement, but I couldn’t.

The placement comes in all 5 colors to match the loom.

So make sure you put the placement first and then place the Loom on top of it!

NOTE: The placement is basically the top of the counter, so if you have more than one Sim in the household at the time, if you press on the placement it will show you the interaction ‘Cook Together’ I couldn’t delete it, since it will give routing troubles for the animation. Therefore, just ignore this :D

Interactions On The Loom

When you buy it, you’ll see the option to admire new possesion.

You can also weave or buy materials (mandatory *read below)

The Loom is working Off-The-Grid, however since it’s based on the coffee machine, I couldn’t remove the option to break, so it’s still breakable.

To weave fabrics your Sim needs to have the required ingredients in their inventory. Ingredients are mandatory! Optional ingredients are only the wool, so if you do'nt have the Cottage Living pack you can still weave the product.

Custom Skill

Brand new skill - Weaving, it includes 10 levels, and it is gained by reading skill books (can be bought from the bookshelf or computer) and crafting items on the Loom.

At level 3 of the skill, a new interaction is unlocked on the products - Sell At Charity Trading (selling price 0.75x retail price).

At level 6, another interaction is unlocked (that requires registered account) on the products - Sell On Simzon (Selling price 1.25x retail price) and if you have Get Famous, you earn fame points.

At level 10, one last interaction is unlocked on the products - Sell To Fabrics Company (Selling price 2.5x retail price)

Another specific includes custom skill icon, custom preference (read below) and has custom thought bubbles.If you have get together, weaving is also a Club Activity option, and if you have Seasons, there is a holiday tradition.

With each skill level more and more craftables are unlocked on the Loom.

Craftable Items

There are more than 110 different craftables!

So make sure you read their titles, so you know what you create.

Each craftable require certain level of skill and ingredient to be produced. Craftables can be made from silk (from the Silk Farm/Processor), cotton (Processor) or wool (Llama).

In case you don’t own the Cottage Living I left the woolen items with optional ingredients, so you will be able to craft them.

If you want to weave, but you don’t want to farm silkworms, you can purchase the ingredients from the loom.

Craftables:

L1: Cotton and Silk Fabrics

L2: Simple Carpets and Doormats

L3: Carpets with more complex design and Bathmats

L4: Seat Covers and Table Cloths

L5: Towels and Scarfs

L6: Pillows

L7: Bed Sheets and Blankets

L8: T-Shirts and Blouses

L9: Pantaloons and Skirts

L10: Dresses and Suits

Once your Sim finish weaving they will take the product and place it on a nearby surface. You can enlist the products on Plopsy, sell them through my custom interactions (depending on the skill level) or decorate your house with them. You can view the craftables, blankets, carpets and clothes give moodlet. Bear in mind that if the craftable is placed on an object already (for example a blanket on a bed) there will be a routing fail and the Sim won’t be able to view the product. It’s similar with dressing up. If the clothing is placed above a dresser, the Sim won’t be able to wear it.

All weavable clothes + two types for towels are wearable. When your Sim press on the ready clothing, they can see two extra interactions - Wear Clothing and Take Off Clothing.

Now depending on type of clothing not everyone will see this interaction. If the clothes are for toddlers - only they will see the option to wear it, if the clothes are for YA-Elders - only they will see the interaction to wear it, ect.

Once worn, you need to choose the option to take it off, otherwise your Sim will stay with these clothes always. And even if you try to change them in other types of clothes (official, sleepwear so on) they will still see the crafted clothing on the Sim. So if you want to change their clothing, make sure first to choose the interaction - Take Off Dress/Shirt/Blouse etc. by pressing on the object clothing.

When they wear the clothing, your Sim will recieve a buff that lasts 2 hours.

Most of the clothes are just a recolor (I’m not in a friendly relationship with CAS :D) however, I really tried guys, and I am really grateful to Gergana (my roommate who is studing 3D modeling) she designed one dress, a blouse and a pair of pants, so, like this you have some diversity, not just recolors.

Custom Preference

Yes! I finally figured out how to make them, so I am giving a custom preference - weaving!

It’s under skills and hobbies. You can select option in CAS or leave the faith to decide.

What Is Simzon?

Okay, so you are interested in fabrics, but you don’t want to waste time weaving them? You have a lot of money and don’t like wasting time in crafting your own stuff? Then search no more! I present you Simzon! The largest online atelier! You can purchase within seconds, delivered stright to your inventory! The only requirement - register a quick account, takes no more than 20 minutes, but then you can have whatever you’d like!

To browse Simzon you first need to create an account on the computer, under Order category.

Once created the account, you will see another interaction Browse Simzon, on the computer under Order category, and on the phone under Household category

You also need an account to Sell your products on Simzon, otherwise the interaction will be greyed out.

Simzon doesn’t work like Plopsy, you cannot actually enlist your products there, when you decide to sell them, the interaction automatically will sell the product and give you money for it, it’s not like Plopsy to wait for offers.

A SMALL BONUS

I made two deco mannequins - one empty and one with dress. If your Sim owns Atelie they may add these objects for more realism.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Now what I observed is, that if your Sim has preference for cooking, when they use the Loom it will show up. And if they have preference for weaving - both preference moods show up while using the Loom.

If your Sim is talking to another Sim when you instruct them to weave, they don’t go to the Loom in the correct position.

Cosmetics Crafting

This is a overhaul of the Soap Making Station.

What is this? What this mod offers?

Rebranded hobby, offering two types of crafting tables, equipped with 10 level re-named skill and customized items, in 6 different categories, to produce.

You have 2 crafting stations, you need to install ONLY one version!

Carlo’s Cosmetix Crafting Station can be found under Outdoor Activities, and it cost 1750 simoleons. Includes 21 swatches (recolors are allowed, do NOT include the mesh!), and I tried my best to make them close to maxis. The products made on it and the ingredients can be found in debug mode. When you press on the station you’ll see all 6 options of craftables.

Toy Making Bench

What this mod gives you?

This mod will bring back a memory from the past, an exciting functional object from the time of Sims 2 - the Toy Making Bench, improved and optimized with a custom skill, a bunch of different craftables, and different ways to sell your products!

Functional Object

You can find Toy Making Bench by typing ‘Toy Making’ in the search bar or under indoor activities/hobbies/ activities (creative).

It costs 725$

And it comes in 2 colors (recolors allowed, do NOT include the mesh).

Interactions on the bench

You can craft different toys or admire the newly-bought bench. The bench is working Off-The-Grid and it’s unbreakable.

Custom Skill

Brand new skill - Toy Making, it includes 10 levels, and it is gained by reading skill books (can be bought from the bookshelf or computer) and crafting items on the Toy Making Bench.

At level 5 of the skill, a new interaction is unlocked on the products - Sell To Toys Collector.

At level 10, another interaction is unlocked Sell To Toys Store.

Another specifics includes custom skill icon, and has custom thought bubbles when reading the skill books. The crafting animations are the same from the woodworking table. (Mirai told me that in the Sims 2 the animation was close to this one so I kept it, since I wasn’t sure what other would fit this type of crafting).

If you have get together, toy making is also a Club Activity option, and if you have Seasons, there are also holidays.

With each skill level more and more craftables are unlocked on the station.

Custom preference - your Sim can have a preference towards toy making, you can choose it in Create-A-Sim under Hobby category, or leave the faith to decide.

Craftable Items

There are 40 different craftables!

Which are mixture of my own designs, sims 4 existing toys, sims 2 and sims 3 conversions and a few bought designs from Sketchfab.

12 of the toys require pandasama’s tuning, so make sure to download their toys, if you don’t have them already (at the bottom of the page chewck the reference)!

Each craftable require certain level of skill and an optional ingredient to be produced.

Cottage Living Wool, My Cotton Yarns, or Mirai’s Logs

Craftables:

L1: Small wooden toys

L2: Colored wooden toys

L3: Woven toys

L4: Plush toys

L5: Hanoi Tower, Teddy Bear

L6: Small Dollhouse

L7: Commersial Toys

L8: Play Phone, Xylophones and Drums (use the xylophone tuning)

L9: Rocking Horses, Toy Kitchen and Large Dollhouse

L10: Spring Horses

Once your Sim finish crafting the objects will directly go in your Sim’s inventory, the ones that require pandasama’s tuning will be found in the household inventory. Then you can drag them and place them wherever you want. You can enlist the products on Plopsy (except the ones that require pandasama’s tuning), sell them through my custom interactions (added a script to be able to sell the toys that require pandasama’s tuning as well, note that the option to sell will show up on all items that contain this tuning, not only the items from the crafting station, since the interaction is injected in the tuning id, not in the objects itself) or decorate your child sim room. All toys are still fully functional, so children can still play with them.

REQUIREMENTS:

BASE GAME

Pandasama’s rocking horse, telephone, xylophone and rock-a-stack, play kitchen

KNOWN ISSUE:

The large plush bear can not be placed inside the lot, I literally tried everything to lift the toy as far as possible from the ground, but it still says it inserts the floor or ceiling, you need to use bb.moveobjects on to place it in the house.

Honey Production (Mod)

Hi guys! I’m very pleased to present to you the Honey Production Mod!

This mod gives you 3 brand new functional objects, around 60 new craftables, new custom skill, custom animation and shelves to keep your craftables on.

1. Wild Beehive

Can be found under ‘Outdoor Activities’ and it costs 55$, has 3 recolor options

This is a tree log that contains one hive. It has bees visual effect and one interaction - Collect Wild Honey.

This interaction is available every 12 hours, and has 50% chance of success, if your Sim collect succesfully honey, they will find in their inventory a basket filled with honey (tha can be sold on Plopsy), if the interaction fails, they will end up with uncomfortable buff and no honey.

After your Sim gather Wild Honey, they can use the Honey Press, to filter it - which will give 6 jars with wild honey. The jars can be consumed or sold to a Health Food Store for profit.

2. Honey Press

Can be found under Outdoor or Indoor Activities, it costs 340$ and has 5 recolor options

Once a Sim has collected a basket with wild honey from the beehive or honey form the Bee Box (Seasons EP), they can perform different interactions on the press.

The interactions come with custom animation. Filtering Wild Honey result in receiving 6 jars with wild honey that can be collected for the press.

To press raw honey requires 1 jar of honey collected from the bee box (Seasons EP required!). The interaction gives three jars with random type of honey.

Jars of Honey may be used to eat, cook, combat cold or sold for profit.

2a. Honey Types

There are in total 25 different types of honey!

However, your Sim can produce only 5 out of them, depending where they live. With 3 types of honey being common for most regions, and 2 types being specific only to certain regions.

Multiflower Honey can be produced in all regions! Clover, Acacia and Sunflower are also common types of honey.

Based on regions:

Komoberi - Alfalfa, Acacia, Clover, Heather or Multiflower Honey

Henford-On-Bagley - Forest, Clover, Eucalyptus, Dandelion or Multiflower Honey

Newcrest - Sunflower, Manuka, Buckwheat, Multiflower or Macadamia Honey

Oasis Spring - Acacia, Multiflower, Chestnut, Macadamia or Avocado Honey

Sulani - Orange Blossom, Clover, Sage, Thyme or Multiflower Honey

Brindleton Bay - Rosemary, Acacia, Sunflower, Rapeseed or Multiflower Honey

Willow Creek - Blueberry, Multiflower, Lavender, Clover or Linden Honey

Windenburg - Pinetree, Multiflower, Tupelo, Wildflower or Clover Honey

All Other Worlds - Sunflower, Acacia, Clover, Multiflower or Clover Honey

You can find all honey in debug mode, when you search by their name.

Pinetree, Chestnut, Wildflower and Sunflower Honey have energizing effect when consumed. Which means they will increase slightly your Sim’s energy.

Clover Honey contains more calories than other honey.

Multiflower, Orange Blossom, Dandelion, Lavender and Linden Honey do NOT help combating sickness. All other honey boost the immune system and helps overcoming sickness if your Sim is sick. The honey collected from the wild beehive has stronger effect for combating sickness.

All honey can be consumed or sold for profit to Health Food Store.

All honey is tagged as sugar, so it can be used in cooking recipes and is fully SCCO compatible!

3. Mead Brewer

Can be found under Outdoor Activities, it costs 350$ and has 11 recolors

Sims with the proper ingredients may use their harvested honey to brew mead for consumption or profit. There are 36 mead types.

The Mead Brewer works off-the-grid and it doesn’t break (or it’s extremely rare, in my playtest it didin’t break at all). To begin brewing first your Sim needs to light up the firewood. Then they will be able to see the interaction to make Mead.

Mead Brewing

Brewing requires Mead Brewing Skill, the higher the skill, the more types of mead a sim can brew. When a brewing cycle has completed the fire in the fireplace will stop automatically and a Large Barrel will be produced. This Barrel can be broken down into 6 Mead Bottles, that can be sold (read below) or opened and consumed. Each bottle contains 6 cups with Mead.

Mead Brewing Skill

This is a brand new 10-level skill, which allows you to turn your Sim into professional Mead Brewer gifting them with this rare skill set.

Mead Brewing skill is required to unlock different Mead types and selling interactions!

To obtain the skill, your Sim can either use the Mead Brewer, or buy skill books from the bookshelf or computer.

At level 1 your Sim can craft only the Classic Mead and as the skill grows more recipes are unlocked.

At level 6 of the Mead Brewing skill, your Sim can sell their mead at Farmer’s Market - the profit is multiplied by 2.

At level 10 your Sim can sell their mead to a Liquor Store, the profit is slightly less, but if you have Get Famous, they will gain fame points.

Mead

Each cycle of brewing gives you a barrel with mead.

Each barrel contains 6 bottles of the said Mead, that can be sold or open and drank.

Depending of the type mead, there are a few possible buffs your Sim might get. Also, if your Sim keep drinking after the 'Relaxing Remedy buff’ wears off, there is a chance your Sim might get a dizzy buff from the alcohol.

4. Extra

I also created 3 different shelf designs where you can store your produce, or build your own Mead cellar.

Description:

Hot Carob Drink Machine is a small appliance that can be used to make different types of hot carob (sweeter, healthier and non caffeine alternative to hot chocolate). It can be found in buy mode under "Appliances -> Small appliances". It costs 300$, and it comes in 7 different colors.

When you press on the object you'll see an option to make a cup or a pot. Each option will open a selection menu and you can choose from 8 different types. I also added my previous Hot Chocolates (Keto Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Red Velvet).
