ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇɪʀ ʜᴜɢꜱ ꜰᴇᴇʟ ʟɪᴋᴇ ♥

Ryusei Sato, Kazutora Hanemiya, Keisuke Baji, Chifuyu Matsuno

Not only does he love a good heat source, but he also generates a lot of it himself. That, on top of a nice jacket, he’s naturally warm which is extremely comforting on cold days. On those days he shivers and pulls you in closer to share that warmth together. Ryusei likes to lean almost all of his weight into you, with his limbs draping over your body like he could fall asleep at any moment during that hug. If you try to get away from him he complains that he needs his pillow for his beauty sleep. He practically wraps himself around you and lays claim like you’re his to own.

When he does hug you, he can’t help but feel a bit of an ego boost because after all, “who doesn’t want to hug me?” Ryusei knows he’s handsome, but deep down he’s thankful you’re not immune to his charm. He may not seem genuine in his affection on the outside, on account of his playful antics, but he most definitely appreciates your willingness (if any) to give him what he wants; a hug from someone he holds dear to his heart.

Hugs from Kazutora are almost crushing. He prefers the intimacy that comes from the lack of space, as the security he gets from it is comforting to him. He has a very strong hold on you, almost as if he’s afraid you’d slip away the moment he needs you. Unlike Ryusei, Kazutora is more on the colder side and prefers your arms over a jacket. Even if you’re trying to push him away from his icy, wandering fingers, he clings even harder and attempts to nuzzle himself into you. Preferably, he wants to be the only one hugging you, holding you wherever you two go. Doesn’t even mind the PDA, if he wants a hug, he’ll practically beg for one.

While hugs are never short in supply with Kazutora, he considers each and every one of them special. They’re proof to him that you’re very much there, and not just a cruel figment of his imagination. That he is in fact capable of being held so tenderly, and that he can do the same for you.

Another warm one. Baji Keisuke is a living heater that animals love to flock to. When Keisuke hugs you, there’s no question about your safety. He has a protective hold on you, one hand on your back and the other on your head, as if he were protecting you from something. An added bonus to his hugs is the almost purring like sensation that comes from him when he speaks as he holds you, the vibrations could practically lull you to sleep. There’s a subtle gentleness to his behavior while in proximity to you, as if you were some stray animal he was trying to win over, careful as to not scare you away.

It’s not often that you get long, deep hugs from Keisuke; in general, he’s more of a quick side hug or arm draped over your shoulder type of guy. But in the rare moments you do spend together like this, with his arms wrapped around you in an embrace, he prefers to stay there for a while and really bask in it. Away from straying eyes, he relishes in the little break from his usual random bouts of chaos. To him, you’re just as good as a cat-- actually, even better.

Chifuyu, on the other hand, isn’t quite sure where to put his hands, especially at first. He blushes and stumbles over his words. Nothing has prepared him for the moment you two hug for the first time. He’s hesitant to make you uncomfortable in anyway. He reads way too much into the little things, every single detail he picks up on and practically flinches. Take too many steps forward and he thinks he’s done something wrong or take too many steps back and... he thinks he’s done something wrong (x2). He’s... not very smart. He just really likes you, a little way too much, and doesn’t want to screw things up by being the reason you would (hypothetically) hate hugs forever. Either before or after he asks “was that okay? Is that alright? Were you good with that?”

Regardless, once he’s finally warmed up to the idea and feels more comfortable himself, you can tell the enthusiasm he puts into the hugs; somehow, he puts a lot of effort into hugging. If he had a tail, you could definitely see it wagging as he squeezes you. He likes to hug you from behind with his chin on your shoulder, or the top of your head, wherever he can do so. After a long day, a really good hug from you is all he can think about. He takes the opportunity to take in your scent and commit it to memory. It fuels him for whenever he can’t be with you.
