Heated blankets and cuddles

jschlatt x fem!reader

summary: both you and schlatt got sick at the same time so to ease the sniffling and sore throats from the flu, you make a cup of tea and snuggle up on the couch with the cats.

warning: straight up fluff.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

You had catched the god awful cold that was going around, and from you schlatt went ahead and got it.

You were laying on the couch with multiple blankets wrapped around you to keep you warm, just one leg peeking out the thick blankets and jambo curled up by your side in a deep sleep.

Schlatt was trying to power through his headache and stuffy nose while streaming a relaxed minecraft mining stream.

From your spot on the couch you could hear schlatt laugjing at something his chat said, followed by a cough. He had only planned on streaming for about an hour, yet 2 hours in he was still at his desk gaming away.

Jambo jumping off the couch brought you back to the show you were mindlessly watching from your livingroom tv.

A cup of tea would really heal your sour throat but getting up from the couch felt impossible at the moment, still feeling like you were going to freeze to death if you pushed the blankets away even for a second.

Tired footsteps could be heard heading towards the livingroom from behind you. Then the couch dipped next to you and a head appeared infront of your barely visible eyes under the fluffy blanket.

” ’M so tired…” he mumbled resting his head on your blanketed lap. ”How many blankets do you have toots?” He laughed with a tired smile.

”Not enough, i’m still freezing jay.” you whined reaching for yet another tissue to wipe your runny nose.

Without a word schlatt got back up from the couch disappearing into the hallway of the apartment.

Few minutes later he appeared with two cups of tea, a big heated blanket and a jambo running after him.

”Let’s get you warmed up doll.” He stated pulling the other blankets to the side to cover you in the already heated up blanket.

Schlatt layed down beside you, arm around your shoulder pulling you into him as he turned your favorite show on for the both of you to enjoy.

Jambo jumped up on the couch and got situated next to the both of you enjoying the warmth from the blanket aswell.

Schlatt’s body heat by it’s self was warming up your entire left side that was pressed against him.

There you two spent the rest of the day and evening snuggled up by eachother watching some shows. Before you both drifted off to sleep in that same position on the couch with the soft sound of the tv chatter in the background and eachothers heavy breathing.
