Again I felt an accomplice of the circumstances, again I urged in my wallet in case I had some coins. Fifty cents. Something is something, I told to myself, while I nodded my head listening to his already learned recital. My train arrived, I was about to get on and he said goodbye without having given me the package of tissues. I did not remain calm knowing that he is one of many that I often come across on trains, on the streets. Desperate enough to beg. Still not enough to resort to violence.
