im totally drawing it lol
i noticed in gemwatch the mchanzo fusions tend to be more stable and im living for that, like honestly id hope thats their first experience with it, but also?? imagine if it wasnt.
i mean they’re not exactly emotionally stable to begin with, plus who’s to say their relationship at the time is, but if need be they’d probably force it and create a fucking monster.
a really dangerous monster.

you ever think about how wires from the neighbourhood could work as a song for genji and hanzo like ok just under the cut because this gets kind of long
“mr. know-it-all, had his reign and his fall,
at least that is what his brain is telling all”
could reference how hanzo had taken up the mantle only to leave after killing genji you know and like uhhh
“the wires got the best of him”
the wires would be the elders like at all parts of the song where it references wires its like an allusion to him being puppeted by them and heres the big part the part that really makes me think of them

the wires getting older i can hear the way they're creaking, as they're holding him”
there’s very little doubt that hanzo didn’t know that the elders would get fed up with genji, i mean he grew up under them after all, so ‘he told me i should take it in, listen to every word he’s speaking’ would be like... hanzo warning him? or trying to make him start acting like they want him to
obviously since ‘the wires’ are still the elders ‘the wires getting older i can hear the way they’re creaking as they’re holding him’ would be genji commenting upon how he’s being controlled and also how the elders aren’t a Forever thing
well, i could see it in his jaw,
that all he ever wanted was a job,
hanzo was groomed to be the next leader of the shimada-gumi and im pretty sure he grew expectant of his duties
he tells me to be, raw,
admits to every little flaw,
that never let him sit upon the top,
won't tell me to stop,
their father had a clear preference for genji, in this ‘the top’ would be their father’s attention, and won’t tell me to stop would be how their father let genji get away with literally everything
thinks that i should be a little cautious.
well, i can tell the wires pulled
once again hanzo warning genji to step in line before he gets hurt and genji basically being like ‘because thats what the elders want’ also can be referencing hanzo trying to kill genji by the word of the elders as well

some notes for the dancer au that ive not forgotten about everybody i swear:
hanzo and genji came to america when they were sixteen and thirteen respectively.
amelies been aged up four years to coincide with hanzo.
hanzo and amelie took ballet classes together when they were younger before hanzo decided to pursue hiphop / modern [ much to his fathers chagrin ] and will sometimes still dance with each other.
amelie forces hanzo to help her take care of her feet bc mr.delicate-ankles managed not to snap them at any point during his time training and clearly he knows something she doesn’t as she’s had three broken toes and four separate sprains in the time theyve known each other alone

mchanzo fusions fighting style would look like... kind of drunk? like it moves with fluidity but also its steps are heavy and they use all of their weight in each move. its very hard to get them off balance due to their lack of rigidness and it can be very unpredictable...
and if this is me jabbing at the fact that hanzo in canon carries alcohol with him constantly and mccree got fucking shitfaced for christmas than nobody has to know...
