Joe Biden was bound by a legal treaty abd acts of Congress and has since cut off aid as soon as Israel went far enough he could legally do so. Why not buck the law? Well bc it means something, and bc both Ukraine and Taiwan are surviving right now on the fact other countries trust we will keep our treaties.

I'm sure we'd all love to live in a world where the right thing was easy to do and accomplish instantly. When you figure out how to go over the rainbow, please let me know. In reality, wheels turn slowly sometimes, much slower anyone wants. And it's sad and it's tragic but I don't know any better way bc to immediately deny Israel would have risked all of Ukraine and Taiwan, so it becomes a numbers game of where the most people are at risk and population size wise that's not Gaza. It's horrifying and I wish I had an answer, but the fact is I don't, because there isn't one. When you're an individual with no real consequences for your opinion, taking absolutist stances is easy. When you have millions of lives to consider, you don't have the option to save everyone.

In Chicago hitting jaywalkers is a sport. No cop will cite you, they'll ask why your dumb ass walked in front of a moving car or against the light (CPD does not believe in actual laws.) In Portland I don't think it's considered jaywalking at all, I think it's allowed to just do fucking whatever and people stop politely. It was like waking up in poorly dressed Oz.

You don't really want it. Essentially, you're telling yourself you want a thing while your subconscious, body amd intuition are screaming no, and it fucks up the intention that's actually being sent out no matter how clear you think it is. Reexamine your desires deeply and look for any inner resistance.
Some Reasons Your Spells Aren’t Working
You didn't give your spell enought time to work.
You don't know what you are doing at all and by this i mean you don't know the correct hour, day, moon phase and herbs to use for your spell. You need to learn before you do anything.
You aren't helping the spell. Magic is meant to be used as a tool to supplement your mundane effort not as a substitute for them. how do you expect to see results of your weight lose spell if you don't workout?
Lack of focus/concentration.
Unclear intention. Whether you write petitions or speak incantations, clearly stating your intention is THE most important part of any spell or ritual. Try to be specific enough to get the results you want.
The spell worked you just didn't notice it.
There is a very, very remote possibility that someone has placed a curse on you specifically to block your magic. However – and I cannot stress this enough – this is VERY uncommon. If you were cursed you would know it, or at least know that something was very wrong in your life.

one or 5 small white candles to charge
~As you fill your bathtub with water, sprinkle the bath salts into it. Add the essential oils and herbs to it. Light the candle, place it on the edge of the bathtub, or, if you have a bath tray, place them there. Immerse yourself in the bath water, as you do this imagine any unwanted energy flowing out of you and into the water.
~if you don’t have a bathtub, you can take a big bowl and use the same recipe, but only soak your feet inside the bowl

Well...
I have ZERO objection to people who want to practice according to the Wiccan Rede because it speaks to them. Everyone's practice is individual, and if that suits you, that's fine. And I object to literally EVERYONE trying to impose their spiritual practices on others (in agreement with most actual spiritual texts and great figures).
BUT Wicca has a special place in my spleen for dislike. (As that's where I keep it.)
See, it's not some grand ancient tradition, which it pretends to be (objection number 1) -- its less than a century old.
Also, literally the entire Rede is not based in any practical or traditional magic traditions, it is specifically to negate them to try to make witchcraft socially acceptable. No curses, bc they're scary. No doing harm at all bc its scary. (Plenty of good times to do harm -- its not only ok but right to take the free will away from a rapist to prevent him from doing so) No personal benefit bc we don't want resentments (eh, nepo babies seem ok anyway...) No offensive deities, which is like any of them except "God and Goddess".
None of this for MORAL or SPIRITUAL reasons. It's for MARKETING reasons. And then some of its leading voices treat it as a moral imperative, the height of righteousness!
