❄️ We had so much fun with Deck the Haus last year that we’re thinking about bringing it back! No concrete details yet, but if there’s enough interest then prompting would likely open in a few weeks and works would be due mid-December! ❄️

OMG Zine, Please! #1: #AfterCollege
Check, Please! started with a boy named Eric Bittle, a vlog channel, pies that materialized out of nowhere, and a play like no college hockey team has ever seen before—falling to fetal right on the ice at the thought of contact.
And somehow, that all turned into a thriving community of artists, authors, fans ranging from chill to downright feral, hockey butt enthusiasts, and more amazing people than one can count on a baker's dozen of hands.
Check, Please! told the story of Eric Bittle from Day One on the men's hockey team at Samwell University through to a triumphant graduation.
And we here at Zine, Please! were dying to know...what happened after?!?! And a lot of y'all had ideas. So. Many. Ideas.
So, after months of dedicated work from our admin team and our contributors, Zine, Please: #AfterCollege is officially here!
All of us are so thankful for the support and excitement all of you have shown, and we hope that you all love this zine just as much as we do. A special thank you to our contributors, this zine would be nothing without your wonderful art and fics!

Announcing Madison & More, a summer-themed Check, Please! prompt fest!!
Follow @madisonandmore for all of the details. We’re so excited for this and we hope you’ll join us for some summertime fun!!
Well, hello there, honey! Fancy meeting you here!
The weather is (finally) warming up in the Samwell area and we're extremely pleased to announce that Madison & More, a new Check, Please! prompt fest, is now happening!!!
Here are some important details:
☀️The overall theme is Summertime, which could include Madison-based fics (timely, since we figure Madison may be on people's minds now that the comic is appearing in mailboxes around the world now!), however prompts and works can be related to any characters or ships doing anything summery (hence the 'More' part of the fest name)!
☀️Prompting will open on AO3 beginning Monday, May 22nd at noon EDT. More on prompting guidelines will be posted here closer to that date!
☀️Prompts will be open for two weeks (until Monday, June 5th) at which point prompts may be claimed.
☀️Finished works will be due Friday, August 18th at midnight EDT so you'll have pretty much all summer to write, pod, draw, create!!
☀️Works will begin posting the following Monday, August 21st for everyone to enjoy as summer comes to a close.
We had so much fun bringing you @omgauplease in the spring, we just couldn't wait to do it all over again! We hope you will join us for Madison & More!!!

Based on our tumblr post, 55 of you enjoyed at least 1 work and 18 people enjoyed at least 5-10 works!
We were also blown away by the people who said they read 12, 16, 25, “most”, “almost all” and a special shout out to @thoughtsofthegirlwiththecurl who has enjoyed 33/35 so far with the remaining two marked for later. 👏
Overall, the fest’s 35 works have generated a total of over 1400 kudos and almost 700 comments! WOW!!! 🤯
