"The idea is to take advantage of my sister being at work and cover her house with sticky notes," Jimmy explains to the boys.

"Which one?" Nolan asks.

"Y/n"

The moment Jimmy inserts the key into the lock they are heard on the other side of the door.

"Oh yeah I forgot to mention, my sister has some dogs that are usually wary of strangers, but you're with me so they shouldn't bite you… I think"

"You think?!?" Karl shouts in fear.

Opening the door and entering, the two dogs run towards the group and Jimmy prepares to greet them, but they pass him and go straight to Nolan. Both dogs jump up excitedly and try to lick Nolan, almost knocking him over. Nolan laughs as the dogs continue their attack until he finally notices the silence and the stares directed at him.

"W-what?"

Jimmy takes a moment to think of what to say, "Like I said, they're suspicious…they don't usually react like that to strangers…or me. I honestly don't think I've seen them this happy until they saw my sister."

Nolan shrugs his shoulders, trying to feign innocence "They say I have a way with animals"

"Who?" "Since when?" "You?" Chandler, Karl and Chris ask.

"I always have," Nolan says.

The four of them look suspiciously at Nolan but without a better justification they let it pass "If you say so."

"Okay, the living room's done, but before we finish the kitchen I need a glass of water. Nolan, can you hand it to me?"

Before Jimmy can finish, Nolan, who was leaning against the sink, turns back, opens the cupboard above him and takes out a glass which he fills with water and hands it to Jimmy.

Again everyone looks at each other in silence.

"How did you know the glasses were in there?" asks Jimmy.

Nolan opens his mouth and closes it a few times before asking as if it were obvious: "Who doesn't keep the glasses in the cupboard above the sink?"

Again they all exchange suspicious glances, but decide to stick the sticky notes back on.

"Very suspicious," Chandler whispers into the camera that Tareq is holding.

"Jimmy!" Karl shouts from upstairs "I think you'll want to see this!"

Laughing Jimmy runs up the stairs with Nolan, Chris and Tareq right behind. When Chandler and Karl arrive, they're both standing there with a piece of paper in their hands.

"Look what we found," Chandler begins.

"Guys, didn't I tell you not to go through my sister's things?"

"I didn't mean to. It was behind the bedside table when we diverted it to stick sticky notes on the back" Karl explains

"It doesn't matter! Look!" Chandler says, shoving the paper in Jimmy's face.

Pulling the paper away so he can see properly, the others lean towards him and Tareq points the camera. Jimmy realizes it's a photo and chokes when he sees what it contains. In it, Nolan and Y/n were landing in front of the Eiffel Tower. He had one arm around her waist while she stood on tiptoe to kiss his cheek.

At that moment all eyes turned to Nolan

"Nolan?" Karl asks when no one says anything.

Nolan looks at the group considering his options and realizing the dead end he suddenly turns and runs.

"Hey!" "Wow" "Get him!" They shout running after Nolan.

Unfortunately for Nolan, they caught him just as he was about to open the front door. He struggles to free himself and shouts

"Luffy! Ace! Attack! Protect me!"

Making Jimmy shout back "I never mentioned their name!"

Deciding to start the interrogation to get the truth Nolan is tied to a chair, the lights are turned off and a strong light is pointed at him.

They try various things to get him to talk, from playing annoying sounds on a speaker to tickling him and scratching a blackboard, but nothing seemed to work as Nolan screamed that he would never say anything and before everyone knows it the two dogs run to the door ready to receive it.

Putting the key in the door to unlock it Y/n was surprised to realize that it wasn't locked. Had she forgotten to lock it in the morning?

Entering the house, the curtains are closed, leaving the room dark. If it hadn't been for Luffy and Ace jumping out at her, she could have sworn she'd been robbed. Looking for the light switch, she turns on the light and chokes when she sees all the walls covered in sticky notes.

Running the two dogs lead the way prompting Y/n to follow them to find Jimmy's group.

"What the hell is going on here?!"

"Y/n?" Jimmy exclaims in shock, not having noticed her arrival.

"Why is my house covered in sticky notes?" she stops, noticing Nolan tied to the chair "And why is Nolan-"

"We want the truth!" Karl shouts.

"Yes!" Chandler and Chris shout back.

"Your dogs love Nolan, he knows where you keep the glasses and we found this photo!" Jimmy says showing the photo to Y/n.

Y/n takes the photo smiling "I thought I'd lost it" looking at Nolan she asks "How long has he been tied up?"

Jimmy stops thinking "I don't know"

"Three hours I think" Tareq says.

"Three hours? Baby you might as well have told them" Y/n says walking past the group and heading towards Nolan.

"BABY?!" Everyone exclaims completely shocked.

A proud smile adorns his face as he jokingly protests "Never!".

Y/n laughs, he would be the death of them. Placing her hand on his cheek, she leans in for a gentle kiss which Nolan returns, leaving everyone even more shocked. Pulling away from the kiss she brushes her forehead against his, noses touching and for a moment they both keep their eyes closed until she speaks softly "Good job holding out my hero, but now it's my turn" she says softly.

As she straightens up, her gentle expression immediately disappears as she says authoritatively. "Jimmy would you mind untying my boyfriend and taking-"

"Boyfriend?" "Nolan?!"

"Yes Nolan" Y/n says rolling his eyes "And get the sticky notes out of my house immediately" when no one moves Y/n reinforces "Quick! Jimmy! Guys! Move it!"

Snapping out of their daze Karl and Chandler are quick to untie Nolan. When he's finally free of the ropes Y/n hugs him, he wraps his arms around her waist and she stands on tiptoe, planting a kiss on his nose.

"I don't understand…" Jimmy says confused.

"What's there to understand?" Y/n asks without understanding their doubt.

"Nolan has a girlfriend," Karl says in shock.

"Yes, and she's Jimmy's sister!" Chris laughs.

"Wait you won't let me go out with Mia, but he can date Y/n?" Chandler asks in outrage.

"I didn't know he was dating my sister!" Jimmy exclaims.

"Guys!" Y/n shouts making everyone look at her again "The sticky notes"

"Right" they say unenthusiastically.

Y/n takes Nolan's hand and starts to lead him out when they question.

"Wait, wait, wait, what about Nolan?"

Before Nolan could open his mouth to defend himself Y/n retorts. "He's been tied up for three hours, now we're going to take Luffy and Ace to the park and when we get back I don't want to see a single sticky note in this house."

Turning around Y/n puts the leashes on the dogs and Nolan turns to the others showing them his tongue before Y/n pulls him out of the house. When the door slams indicating that they're alone, they all start taking out their sticky notes and Chris comments, "I thought she was younger."

"Yes, because in my house women are in charge," Jimmy admits, turning to Chris before starting to collect the papers from the wall again.

"And I can't believe Nolan came out on top," says Chandler

"Exactly!" Karl agrees.

"And that he has a girlfriend," Chris comments.

"Who is Jimmy's sister" Chandler adds.

"And he's managed to hide it from us for who knows how long!"

"At least I don't have to take that off myself" Nolan comments holding hands with Y/n while Ace and Luffy run loose.

Y/n laughs leaning over and giving him a kiss on the cheek "Thanks for not saying anything."

"Well, of course you asked me not to"

"They still tied you to a chair. Thank you"

Nolan stops turning to her "I could accept a reward" he says holding her cheeks with both hands. Y/n puts her hands on his chest to steady herself and allows him to pull her into a kiss.

The whole situation was stupid, but not as stupid as Y/n's initial idea of keeping the relationship a secret. She just wanted a quiet start and was happy that Nolan respected that, but now she was happy that she didn't have to hide it anymore.

If she was honest, Y/n had full confidence in her feelings and her relationship with Nolan and didn't believe that any of them would disappear.

Y/n met Sean at a gaming convention and they just clicked. It was quick for them to become best friends and as they lived far apart their friendship progressed mainly in online games. One day Sean told Y/n he was going to take part in his brother's stream and sent her the link to watch. She had a lot of fun and thought he was cute, so from then on she started following Karl's streams. Did Sean know about it? No. But she didn't have to tell him everything either.

She met Karl in person when she went to a college near Sean's parents' house. Even though she had a rented apartment, Sean complained that she had to pay rent to his parents because she spent so much time there. Spending so much time there, she ended up meeting Karl, who at first was very confused as to why a complete stranger was sitting on the sofa at his parents' house watching a soap opera with his mother. A very beautiful stranger, but he put that part aside.

His mother explained that she was a friend of Sean's and introduced them by inviting him to watch the soap opera with them. Unsure of what to do and bearing in mind that he had gone to visit his parents, he decided to join them on the sofa.

Although there was silence for a while, a comment from his mother was enough to make Y/n also comment again and laugh at the events of the soap opera. Karl laughed and eventually started commenting too. When Sean went downstairs to check if the soap had finished and saw the three of them on the sofa, he couldn't help but laugh at their enthusiasm.

That was the first of many times that Y/n and Karl met and somewhere in between Y/n developed a huge crush on Karl. She had followed his streams before, but now it seemed different and she realized this when she caught herself grinning like an idiot while watching one of his streams. Sean would kill her if he found out. But it was just a silly crush, right? Right?

"My brother took part in one of the videos with Mr. Beast, I was going to watch it, do you want to watch it with me?"

"Sure" Y/n replied, trying to look indifferent, but it was halfway through the video that a particular scene made them both comment simultaneously and Y/n flinched "Omg he looks so-" "How cute!"

"What?" Sean asks in shock at what he's just heard.

"Huh?" She fumbles trying to disguise it, but unfortunately for her Sean heard clearly.

"You said my brother was cute"

"Did I?"

"Yes!"

"It happens" She says and Sean decides to let it go, perhaps because he didn't want to hear that his best friend had a crush on his brother. And just as well, because Y/n didn't want to admit it at all.

Y/n was lying on the sofa at her parents' house watching TV when Karl came in and was confused to see her alone.

"Hey" He greets smiling at the sight of her.

"Hi" She greets back.

"My mom?" he asks confused.

"It's Friday, there's no soap today, there's 'Alone' on, she doesn't like this one very much" She explains as she sits down, she didn't expect Karl to come today, he never used to come on Fridays.

"No, don't worry about it" He says as he sits down. He pats his lap signaling her to spread her legs again, this time over his lap. A little nervously, she stretches her legs over his lap and tries to remain calm.

For a while they both watch the program in silence until Karl laughs and makes a comment. She laughs at his comment and makes another. Suddenly they are both commenting hotly on the program and laughing a lot.

After that, every Friday Karl would go to his parents' house to watch the show with her and before they knew it, it had become their thing.

"Is it okay if I give you my number?" Karl asks one night before she leaves.

"Your number?" She asks in surprise, but tries to remain calm.

"Next week I'll be out shooting a video with Jimmy, so we could arrange it and maybe watch the episode together by video call or discord."

Y/n blushed at the thought of him wanting to keep in touch. "Here," she said, handing him her cell phone so he could put in his number.

For two days she struggled with what to say to him. Since he had put the number in her phone, she was the one who had to send the first message. Scrolling through her Instagram feed, she saw a meme related to the show and immediately sent it to Karl before he realized it was the first message. Fortunately, Karl immediately realized it was her and replied in a funny way. The two start chatting daily, from exchanging memes to simply asking what the other is doing.

One day when Karl sees her online on discord he simply initiates a call. When he answers, she asks what's going on and he says he just saw her online and thought maybe they could play something. It was the way she blushed and her heart raced to the point where she feared her microphone would pick up the sound that made her realize that the silly crush was definitely over.

Perhaps she should have realized this beforehand because it had been two years since she had admitted her crush and the feeling of butterflies in her stomach when he talks to her had only increased over time? Probably.

Despite this, he never invited her to play with Jimmy and the others, unbeknownst to her he did this to try not to make his passion obvious and instead repeatedly refused their invitations to stay and play with her.

Sean and Y/N were watching one of Mr. Beast's latest videos featuring Karl when he couldn't stand her passionate smile at the sight of Karl.

"Ok that's disgusting, you're literally drooling on my brother"

"What? I'm not!" She tries to defend herself.

"I'd hoped that three years ago you'd be over it," he declares simply. It was true, at the time Sean realized that Y/n liked or at least had a crush on Karl, but he didn't want to risk them getting hurt and things getting weird. He thought that if it was something small Y/n would be able to get over it, but apparently he was wrong and couldn't ignore it any longer. He knew Y/n, she wouldn't spend so much time on a mere crush, honestly he hadn't even seen her date anyone since he met Karl.

Then he realized that time she'd slipped up and said he was cute…. Y/n thought.

"Oh look it's now" Y/n points out trying to change the direction of the conversation.

"Now?"

"Yes, she's going to trip, but thanks to that she finds the box, that's the best part, no one expected it" She explains without realizing that Sean is silent.

"How do you know that?"

"Oh… well… Karl sent me the video when they finished editing it so I could give my opinion" she pauses, trying to gauge Sean's reaction, "But I promised to watch it when it came out on the channel!"

"What? He didn't send it to me!" Sean protests.

Y/n tries to disguise the smile that appears. She knows it's stupid, but for her to know that Karl sent her the video and didn't send it to other people or at least his brother was a small victory in her game of feeling important to Karl.

"Did you send him the last video?" Sean asks Karl.

"Did she tell you?" He says obviously not expecting him to know.

"She slipped up" He stops to watch his brother open the bottle and drink the water to cover up "It would be easier for everyone if you just asked her out"

Karl chokes and is about to defend himself when his cell phone rings with a message. Picking it up to check, a silly grin appears when he sees it's from Y/n.

"You deserve each other" Sean says in exasperation as he gets up and leaves the room.

"Wait, what?" Karl asks, but Sean ignores him.

He definitely couldn't ignore these two any longer and apparently they weren't going to move so he'd have to think of something himself.

"Impossible mode?" Sean asks Y/n.

"Yes, although I might call it almost impossible because technically it's possible to pass"

"How much of it have you got so far?"

"Just those first 10 levels of chapter 1, the tutorial basically" Y/n pauses, "But honestly I don't know if it's worth continuing to develop it, the game is basically quite simple, the only thing different about it is the insane difficulty levels. I don't think it's something people will like"

"Maybe I can help" Sean says, picking up his cell phone and starting to type.

"Today we're going to play the hardest game in the world!" Jimmy declares as the video begins.

The camera changes and Y/n and Sean appear in the shot as Jimmy approaches them. "We're here with S/n, Karl's brother's best friend and also the developer of this game. Do you have anything you can tell us about the game?"

"Initially it was a simple game I made for college, but when I was told it was easy I started adding more difficulties and I'm currently working on a mode that I consider almost impossible to pass."

"That's the one we're going to play today, right?"

"Yes, so far I've only developed this difficulty for the first 10 levels which are the tutorial for the normal difficulty"

"Okay then, let's make it a challenge and try to finish those 10 levels"

When Jimmy, Karl, Chandler and Chris start the first level Karl comments "Ok this doesn't look that bad"

"It doesn't, does it?" Jimmy asks and everyone agrees "That's why for the challenge we're going to try to pass all 10 levels in 30 minutes and whoever doesn't make it will have to take part in the challenge in my next video, to spend 24 hours in a pool full of slime" he announces, causing everyone to protest.

"Don't you like the punishment Karl?" Jimmy asks.

"No!"

"Ok then Karl, just for you, I have another chance. Would you like to switch?"

"I'm afraid of what it might be, especially since only I have that option, but…I don't want to spend 24 hours in slime so…okay"

"Great! Karl, if you can't get to level 10 in 30 minutes, you'll have to call your crush of two years and propose to her!" Jimmy announces excitedly.

"WHAT?" Karl shouts in shock.

"And there's no point in lying because Sean knows and he told me exactly who it is."

Karl looks over to where Sean is quite smiling right next to Y/n before looking at Jimmy again.

"Jimmy, I've changed my mind, I really want to take part in the slime video"

"You want to?"

"Yeah"

"Ok great then you're in!" Karl breathes a sigh of relief before Jimmy speaks again, "But you still have to call him if you lose"

"NO" Karl shouts realizing that he has made the situation even worse.

"Okay, time's up," Jimmy says, not giving Karl a chance to continue protesting.

Karl wastes no time and tries to focus fully on the game without letting on how desperate he was. He doesn't want Y/n to find out, it was already embarrassing that he liked his brother's best friend and he knew.

"Oh and Y/n and Sean you two feel free to walk around us watching and commenting since you both already know the game"

Y/n is very anxious and at the same time nervous, she never knew Karl had a crush, let alone one that has lasted two years. They've known each other for two years, right? What are the chances?

"Maybe it would help if I jumped," Karl comments when S/n approaches him and he misses the third block of the first level, making her laugh.

Sean laughs when Karl misses the same block 3 more times due to having S/n next to him and gets a death glare from his brother.

"Okay I did it!" He announces as he passes level 1.

"Wait, how did the thorns hit me?" Jimmy asks as he realizes he's dead.

"They'll come after you if you stand still for too long," Y/n explains.

"Okay, but-" Karl starts when the thorns from level 1 appear at the start of level 2 and kill him "Y/n!" He protests and she laughs.

"I told you it was hard" Y/n says "Feel free to complain, I'm fully aware that it's extremely annoying"

"Thank you!" They all say simultaneously.

Y/n circulates a bit among them, but spends most of the time with Karl while Sean is more with Jimmy, Chandler and Chris.

"Y/n why is there so much space between the keys?" Chris asks exasperated.

"It's part of the difficulty, they're not like that on the other difficulties"

"Y/n how do I pass this?" Karl asks on level 6.

"Well-"

"Y/n you can't help! You're the creator" Jimmy says.

"Sorry Karl" Y/n says, laughing at his pout.

Although she wants to motivate him, without realizing it she's only making him more nervous.

"Wait" Chandler says "Wasn't this supposed to be the tutorial?"

"Yep" Y/n and Sean answer at the same time.

Without Karl realizing it during the video, he ends up constantly flirting with Y/N in an attempt to get the solution to the levels.

"Wait, I've made it to 8! I'm almost there!" Karl exclaims. Maybe he'll make it.

"Okay, I give up," Jimmy says.

"At least I'm not going to the slime pool alone anymore," Karl comments a little more cheerfully.

For the rest of the time Chandler also gives up and with only 10 seconds left Karl loses right at the end of level 9. He bangs his head on the table in despair and Y/n puts her hand on his shoulder reassuringly. He looks at her, but immediately puts his head back on the table to hide his blush. He was going to have to tell her.

"Time's up! Nobody made it, right?" Jimmy announces.

Everyone reluctantly agrees.

"Okay then, the four of us are going to take part in the 24-hour challenge in the slime pool E" Jimmy pauses, moving closer to Karl "Karl, you know what you have to do"

"Yeh…." Karl says dejectedly.

"Hey" Y/n says walking next to Karl to the location of the last shoot "It's going to be okay"

Karl sighs, she wouldn't say that if she knew it was her.

Filming resumes with Karl standing next to Jimmy and Chandler, Chris, Sean and Y/n around him.

"First of all, I'd like to thank Y/n for letting us play the new difficulty of her game, although I must confess that I'll never play it again and I apologize for that"

"It's okay Jimmy, I'm grateful for the chance to show my work like this and besides the aim is to be levels that people will argue are impossible to pass"

"So now it's time Karl"

Taking a deep breath, Karl picks up his cell phone and searches for the contact before initiating the call and putting it on speaker. Everyone waits when they finally hear the ringtone, but as soon as it sounds a cell phone starts ringing and everyone looks towards the source of the sound.

Y/n is speechless when she hears her cell phone ringing. With all eyes on her, she pulls the phone out of her pocket and her mouth drops open when she sees Karl's name. Unsure of what to do, she turns the screen on her phone to show Karl's name to the camera.

"Wowww" Chandler and Chris say in stasis.

Y/n looks at Karl just in time to see him lick his lips before pressing them together in an obviously nervous thin line.

"You have to say it Karl" Jimmy encourages.

Clearing his throat and trying to ignore his nervousness he says "Y/n, I've had a crush on you for 2 years"

"Really Sean?" Jimmy asks Sean for confirmation.

"It's true Jimmy" Sean announces enthusiastically.

Jimmy walks away to end the video and Karl quickly disconnects the call and approaches Y/n. "Ok I know this sounds weird, but well…I…" Karl tries to find an excuse, but what excuse could he give when he's just revealed that he's had a crush on her for two years?

Y/n tries not to blush at how cute Karl looks as he tries to justify himself. Not wanting him to embarrass himself any further, she hugs him, hiding her face in his chest and making him shut up.

Karl is in shock, but returns the hug, wrapping one arm around Y/n's waist and with the other hand gently holding her head against him. He's in shock and everyone can see the cogs in his mind turning as he basically short-circuits. Karl didn't want to assume anything wrong. As he tries to figure out if the hug means what he hopes it means, he meets Sean's gaze who gives him a huge smile and raises both thumbs in the affirmative. He widens his eyes. He knew it, Sean knew it all along. He was going to kill him!

Sean turns to the camera which is filming the end of the video where Jimmy explains that they only did the exhibition because Sean guaranteed and presented proof that they both liked each other so there would be no broken hearts.

Before the shot ends the camera zooms in to where Karl is cradling Y/n in his arms just in time to catch him kissing the top of her head.

"You're welcome" Sean says approaching Y/n and Karl as the camera is turned off.

"Did you know?" Sean nods positively "Since when?" Karl asks, he didn't want to believe that his brother knew his crush liked him back and didn't tell him.

"She slipped up about it like three years ago"

Karl chokes "Three years?"

"Sean!" Y/n scolds, turning away from Karl. Okay, Karl had liked her for two years, but did he really have to expose that she liked him before?

Looking at Karl, he smiles at her with eyes full of love and affection. How could she not have noticed that look before? Embarrassed, she hides in Karl's chest again and he laughs, causing butterflies in Y/n's stomach with the sound of his laughter.

"Okay then, I'm going to take Y/n to dinner and see a movie and when I get back I'm going to kill you," Karl declares before taking Y/n's hand and leading her out of the studio.

Later, when I checked the comments on the video, most of them were about how cute the two of them were together, many people saying that during the video you could already see that they liked each other, some comments repeating the flirts that Karl said to her when he was trying to figure out how to get through the levels and others saying that they were waiting for the wedding. Of course, ignoring the haters.

Also not me posting to the wrong account and being too lazy to redo the post

Not me starting to follow the Mr.beast videos and just falling in love with how cute Karl and the rest of the crew are.

Honestly I'm thinking of writing for them but I'm not sure because they're real people and not characters and although they'll never read anything about them being real makes everything completely different. If I write it probably won't be omegaverse.

Although mammals used to be a class above the rest, foxes were at the bottom of that class. Fortunately, they were still superior to the odious hyenas, or at least that's what they preached. Due to the betrayal of the hyenas, the foxes moved up the hierarchy, leaving behind the fact that the hyenas still had superior genetics.

"Stay away from hyenas"

It was something that as a fox princess Y/n always heard, they were cunning and treacherous and would jeopardize the trust that the foxes had earned at great cost so why was the first word that came to her mind when she saw him…?

"Huh? Did you say something Y/n?" Amit asks

"N-no" Y/n says, hiding her blush.

Y/n arrived at the palace at the same time as Amit, just like her Y/n was sent to the king's harem by her family.

"It's a unique opportunity! It wasn't easy to achieve the place we have today in society. Do something to serve your people, go to the capital and enter the king's harem. Only then will you bring some kind of honor to our people"

Tch. Thinks Y/n as if she wants to dedicate her life to warming a king's bed.

Although disgusted by the situation, Y/n had no choice but to do as she was told. On arriving at the palace, Y/n met Amit, a crocodile who was just as interested in the king as she was.

Together they ended up forming a friendship with Sariphi who, after the princesses' stay in the harem was over, allowed them to stay in the palace as her ladies-in-waiting and friends.

And it was there that she met Lanteveldt, a man she should never have approached and yet the one she fell in love with.

Although Y/n is sure that being a hyena didn't make her past easy, she admired his free spirit; for her, Lant was like a breath of fresh air that refreshed her whole being. Even though he was carefree, he still devoted himself wholeheartedly to serving Sariphi and Y/n felt that there was no man more worthy of being the queen's guard than him.

Without even realizing it, she had been able to awaken the same feeling in Lant. Even though he was aware that it was even stranger to see him in the castle, he was still surprised to see a fox in the castle. What was she doing there?

When Sariphi introduced them he couldn't help repeating her name mentally and thinking how good it sounded. Hyenas and Foxes had a great history of competing to see who took last place in the mammal class, Lant couldn't help but use this to get their attention. 'Little Fox' became his nickname for her. He often used it in between his flirting to tease her.

A nickname that at first she hated and made her think that maybe he really was an idiot hyena now made butterflies fly in her stomach and warmed her heart.

"Maybe you should tell him," says Amit

"Maybe you should tell Captain Jormungand" replies Y/n

"W-what? N-no! My situation is totally different!"

"It's different as-"

"I agree with Amit, you should tell Lant how you feel Y/n"

"I don't think he can feel the same after all… I'm a fox and he's a hyena"

"I think you should have more confidence in your feelings and not use lame excuses like that. If your races didn't stop you from falling in love with him, why should they? You know as well as we do that Lant is like that and you can't turn a blind eye to all his flirting with you!"

"I-that's just a joke-"

"Lant wouldn't play with someone else's feelings"

Y/n shrinks back realizing that they were right, the Lant she loved was playful, but he would never play with someone's feelings. Despite all the teasing, he was always sweet and by her side.

"Y/n" Sariphi calls out sweetly "Just look at how he looks at you when he thinks no one is looking. He has as much confidence in your feelings as he does in Lant"

Y/n smiles "Thank you, Sariphi, Amit"

Y/n sighs as she looks at the stars. She had taken the time to think a lot about her conversation with Sariphi and Amit in order to strengthen her confidence and tell Lant about her feelings. The cool night breeze and the protection of the stars that were only visible during the night of revelation seemed to do wonders to dispel her worries. Perhaps she should go and find him?

Lant smiles when he sees Y/n alone on the roof.

"Little Fox?" Lant calls out provocatively but feels the air escape her lungs when she turns around. The night breeze rippled perfectly through her soft fur, the rare stars shone reflected in her eyes and behind her framed her creating a breathtaking scene.

Y/n took a deep breath to try and keep calm. Why did he have to look so good in that uniform?

"Lant" Y/n whispers confidently.

Lant smiles and moves closer to her, a little but not too close. "Finding yourself in this situation, if I didn't know better I'd say you've fallen in love with me and you're trying to make me fall too" He says with a mask of confidence.

Y/n stares into his eyes, surprising him; normally she would look away and call him an idiot. She narrows the distance between them, making Lant step back in doubt.

"Y/n what-"

"Is it working?"

"W-what do you mean?" Lant asks with a slight pink tinge to her cheeks and her heart racing.

Y/n holds back a smile as she sees him upset.

"Are you in love?"

Lant's blush deepens, his words leaving him speechless. Y/n moves closer, leaving only a small space between his lips.

It was this moment "What? Did the fox eat your tongue?" Y/n whispered, standing on tiptoe and closing the distance between them.

Regaining his composure, Lant is quick to put one hand on her cheek and the other on her waist, pulling her closer.

"I'm", Lant confesses when shortness of breath forces them apart, "totally and hopelessly in love with the treacherous little fox who stole my heart".

Y/n blushes at Lant's confession, something tells her he's just found a new way to tease her, but she couldn't care less.

Notes: At the beginning of this series Neteyam and Ay'u(oc) are the same age as Aonung, about to turn 18, Lo'ak, Tsireya and Kiri the same age as Naruk, 17. Tuktirey remains only 7 years old. Yes I will play Aonung although I am pretty sure he is not.In this fanfic I have not used any physical descriptions of the reader beyond the normal ones of a navi, but to make it easier to relate to the following fanfics I will replace S/n with Naruk. Naruk will be your Na'vi name. I hope this small detail will not interfere with your reading experience.

While trying to sleep Lo'ak stirs the shell in his hand looking at it and thinking about Aonung's words.

Rotxo and Aonung choke when Lo'ak shows them the shell.

"That's a sumyawne!" exclaims Rotxo in disbelief.

"Beloved shell?" questions Lo'ak.

Aonung agrees crouching down next to Lo'ak and looking at the shell intently "As a form of courtship when a Metkayina man wants to choose a mate he should make a necklace out of this shell. It is usually very hard to find and it is said that only being able to find one is a gift from Eywa"

"Eywa is giving him a sign that he should choose a mate?" asks Rotxo incredulously.

"I think so" Aonung says thoughtfully.

A mate. Lo'ak widens her eyes and bites her lip as the image of Naruk comes to her mind.

Was Eywa telling him that he should choose Naruk as a mate? I mean technically Eywa only gave him the shell but when he thought of a possible mate the only one that came to mind was Naruk.

Lo'ak sighs as he recalls their relationship, how patient and caring she was teaching him the ways of the Metkayina, how she never judged him and even stood against her own brother to defend them. Naruk was the one who always believed in him and supported him, even when he bonded with Payakan, she was the one who was there for him when Neteyam died, she was his biggest support. She never thought his fifth finger was weird even joking with him several times with the argument that it was cute, she was the first to want to meet Payakan and the most affectionate to his excluded brother.

Between jokes and teasing she was the one who made him smile the most and the only one who made him relax completely.

She was also beautiful, he blushed for thinking that way about her but if he did he knew he considered her the most beautiful Na'vi he had ever seen.

His mind flies to how he was the first one she looked for when she finished the iknimaya, how she looked so beautiful when she blushed and looked at him with such love in her eyes. Love. That's what that look was. Love. That look was love. And it was love that she had in her eyes every time she looked at him.

Eywa was right. He would be damned if he didn't make her his mate but there was still a problem. In the Metkayina's eyes he was not an adult and so he could not choose a mate.

At breakfast he remains silent as he continues to stir the ladle in one hand and eat with the other. His family exchanges glances at his son's unusual silence.

"Lo'ak" Neytiri begins "Is there something you want to talk about my son?"

"We are part of the Metkayina now right?" He starts a bit hesitantly.

Neytiri looks also hesitantly at Jake and he replies "Yes we are"

"Then I suppose it would be okay if I chose a woman from among the clan when I complete the iknimaya of the Metkayina"

Everyone's eyes turn to him but he remains unperturbed with his eyes focused on the shell as he analyzes every detail. Consequently his family's eyes fall on the shell in his hand for what he explains.

"Eywa gave it to me" he pauses briefly thinking about his next words "she is a sumyawne the Metkayina wear na on courting necklaces when they wish to choose a mate. She should be hard to find even by diving deep but yesterday I found her on the beach."

Neytiri and Jake exchange glances before Jake clears his throat and speaks.

"We are Metkayina now, it is normal for you to choose a woman from your clan"

Finally Lo'ak raises his eyes from his shell, he knew Eywa was no contest but he still expected more resistance. He expected his parents to question and judge who he would choose, he couldn't believe he was getting an ok to choose any woman he wished. All right nothing would stop him but still the fact that he was free to woo her filled him with happiness.

Lo'ak was so excited to talk to Payakan and tell him about his decision to choose Naruk as a mate that he almost forgot that he had arranged with Naruk himself and his sister Tullik to go to Payakan to celebrate their coming of age.

He waits for Naruk before they both set off together towards the end of the reef, when they get there Tullik was already waiting for them and the three of them proceed to meet Payakan a little further away. They did this to prevent the other tulkuns from knowing that Tullik was meeting Payakan and not expelling her from the gang.

Naruk described her rite of passage in detail with Lo'ak adding a few comments here and there while Payakan and Tullik listened intently. When she finally finishes she stretches and lets herself fall back lying on Tullik's back. The tulkun laughs bringing up a new topic.

"So and have you thought about who you want as a mate yet?"

Naruk chokes getting up immediately with a shade of purple in his cheeks. Why was Tullik asking that question exactly now if she already knew the answer? Of course Naruk had already thought about who she wanted, she wanted Lo'ak and had already confessed it several times to her sister. Suddenly she realizes that everyone is staring at her as they wait for an answer.

"N-no! I haven't thought about it yet"

"In that case you should think about it, I heard several tulkun comment about how their brothers had their eye on you and that some even plan to woo you" a little lie from Tullik but when she looked at Lo'ak and saw him clench his jaw and swallow dryly she smiled knowing she succeeded. Not that it was entirely a lie, Naruk was Olo'eyktan's daughter, talented and beautiful, the tulkun knew that many desired her without even needing to hear rumors.

After that the topic changed again and even though the conversation flowed easily Lo'ak found himself always tense with Tullik's remark, he hadn't thought about it before but as he walked she constantly attracted stares. Lo'ak was so happy that he had finally realized his feelings and Eywa had given him that sign that he forgot to consider that he might have competition. But he was almost certain that Naruk reciprocated his feelings, plus Eywa gave him the shell, she wouldn't let someone who also wishes to woo Naruk find one...right?

Before everyone notices it starts to get dark and Naruk goes back to the village with Tullik while Lo'ak decides to stay a little longer with Payakan. He follows the two figures with his gaze as they walk away and once they are both out of sight he dives in next to his brother and signals.

"What do I have to do to become an adult in the Metkayina?"

Naruk sighs, it couldn't be a coincidence that everyone is asking him about it today.

"Well?" Ronal asks raising his eyebrows.

"I don't know yet" Naruk replies looking down at his food.

"It is important that you choose a companion Naruk" his father refers.

"What about Tsireya?"

"We have already spoken to her. Naruk, we want to know if you intend to choose someone" Ronal speaks with a comforting hand over his daughter's.

"What about Aonung? He's going to be Olo'eyktan and he's already 19!"

"Naruk!" Warns Ronal but she just walks off to get some air making Ronal sigh.

Tonowari places a comforting hand on her companion's shoulder giving her a gentle squeeze before getting up and following her daughter out of the marui.

Naruk sighs feeling the ocean breeze on her face, noticing her father behind her her shoulders slump in defeat and she speaks sighing.

"You guys know it's not just picking any Na'vi right?"

"Naruk" Tonowari begins making her look at him "You have always been an exemplary daughter, you do your duties to the best of your ability, from taking care of your siblings to teaching outsiders, you rarely cause trouble. Both your mother and I will support you no matter who you choose"

Naruk smiles "Thank you."

Tonowari returns the smile by opening her arms to which Naruk responds by hugging him. For a few minutes they are silent as Tonowari clears her throat.

"Of course I would want whoever you choose to be able to protect you, even though I know you can do it alone. I just...just want you to choose someone I feel I can trust with my beloved daughter"

Naruk laughs "Thank you father.

Lo'ak would turn his 18th birthday in just two months, as such he had to immediately begin all the rites, prepare to tame a tsurak and all while making a courting necklace for Naruk.

As he walked towards Naruk he couldn't help but mentally gloat over the idea he had.

"Naruk" he calls out as he approaches her with his ilu.

"Lo'ak, hey. What are you doing?"

"Since I am having my coming of age ceremony in two months my mother asked me to pick out some shells so she could weave something with them for me to wear. I was just about to start looking for them and I was wondering if you would like to help me."

"Sure!" Naruk smiles excitedly "I know of places where there are read shells. Let's go!"

Lo'ak smiles as she pulls him to follow her. After all who better to help him choose the shells he would put on the courting necklace for Naruk than herself?"

It had been about two weeks since Lo'ak and Naruk had started their search for shells, most days it was just the two of them but on some Ay'u and Tsireya would show up to try to help.

Lo'ak was happy that today was another one of the days when it was just the two of them, not that he disliked Ay'u or Tsireya, he just preferred to spend time alone with the one who was going to ask to be his mate very soon.

"What do you think of these?" Naruk asks emerging from the water.

"Let's see."

They both sit on a rock spreading out the shells they had in their bags to begin examining them however Lo'ak quickly finds himself lost in thought as he watches Naruk analyze the shells. He watches as his light blue eyes shift from shell to shell, a peaceful face adorned with a small smile, small loose strands of hair are in his face and his fingers gently stir as they separate the shells. Lo'ak is taken aback when her eyes turn to meet his.

"What do you think of this one?" Naruk asks raising at his eye level a shell of a light spiral pink.

Lo'ak smiles bringing her hand closer to Naruk who holds the shell up to examine it more closely "Do you like it?"

"Yes, it is very pretty"

"Which ones more?"

Naruk smiles and starts pointing out the shells they find most beautiful while Lo'ak mentally points out the ones she likes best.

"It's not like that. You have to twist it to the right first and only then you can pull it up" Neytiri explains.

Lo'ak was about to go crazy, he never imagined that braiding a necklace could be so difficult. He watches intently as Neytiri takes the necklace from his hands to show him how to do that step correctly.

This was possibly the fifth necklace Lo'ak had made since he made the decision to ask Naruk to become his mate on the day of his iknimaya. Even though his mother and sister kept correcting him constantly he could feel himself improving. His fingers braided more skillfully, the knots that had previously made him hell were now done with ease, and he was now able to do far more complex things.

He decided that for the first month he would just practice, using the shells that he and Naruk would collect he went about making several trial necklaces making sure to save her favorites for the actual necklace. At this point he had a routine, waking up early to perform the maturation rites, meeting with Naruk to collect shells and staying late to weave necklaces.

By the end of the first month he had all the shells he wanted.

Neytiri laughed as she watched her son rearrange the shells for what seemed like the hundredth time, she would have offered to help him but he was certainly stubborn insisting he wanted to do it alone, despite this it was good to see him happy, especially since Neteyam's death.

Neytiri had to admit that she was curious about the young woman Lo'ak intended to court since he himself refused to say who it was. She hadn't seen him with many young women, Naruk seemed to be helping him collect the shells so it shouldn't be her. Tsireya? Ay'u? He didn't seem to be that close to any of them. Maybe it was someone he admired from afar and Naruk knew who it was, that worried Neytiri. What if her son chose a mate he wasn't close to? Yet who was she to stop him? Eywa spoke, he must choose the mate he wishes.

Surprisingly Lo'ak was a good apprentice, in only a month he was able to master many weaving techniques and Neytiri was sure he would be able to make a beautiful courting necklace. Even Jake was surprised at what his son had made as Tuk showed the bracelet he had begged Lo'ak to make, which he gladly did as training.

"Ay'u!" Naruk exclaims as she runs to her friend sitting on the beach "What's wrong?"

"Naruk" Ay'u is surprised to see her friend and tries to wipe her tears "I just..."

Naruk sits on the sand next to Ay'u and waits for her to find the words.

"Do you think I have a chance to be your brother's mate?" she asks with tearful eyes.

"Oh Ay'u" Naruk sighs "Of course you will, you've been trying harder than anyone else, it shouldn't be long before my mother calls you to officially be the next Tsahík-"

"Not that!" more tears fall and Ay'u wipes them away with a despondent sigh "Do you think your brother will ask me to be his mate? It's been over a year since our ceremonies"

"Maybe he doesn't know how. Besides you know what he's like! Arrogant on the outside but soft and fragile on the inside"

"He's not arrogant"

"Okay he acts differently with you but the more reason you give me! You're the only one he shows who he really is and whenever he's with you he's nicer to everyone"

"I don't know, sometimes it seems like he gives me signs but...maybe he just doesn't want me"

"Ay'u" Naruk lets out with a sigh thinking about how he could help his friend. "I can try to find out if he has his eye on someone"

"Really?" Ay'u asks raising a hopeful look from the grains of sand to her friend.

"Of course! You are my friend, my best friend. I just want you to be happy"

"Thank you"

Finely a comfortable silence arises between the two as they watch the eclipse before Ay'u returns to her usual mood bringing a new topic.

"So..." just hearing that teasing voice Naruk could already guess what was coming "it's tomorrow that Lo'ak finishes the iknimaya. Do you think he has already chosen you as his mate?"

"Ay'u!!! Shouldn't the question be if I thought he had already chosen a mate?"

"Please Naruk he looks at you like you are the only star in the sky! If he chooses a mate it will obviously be you!"

"Funny I never noticed that look" Naruk says sarcastically

"Of course you don't. You're always too distracted thinking about kissing him to do it and don't even deny it! One time you looked at his lips so hard I could have sworn you were going to kiss him right there!"

"I don't think about it all the time!"

"That may be true but I bet it's all within the same theme 'Lo'ak'"

Naruk bites his lip as he blushes "Maybe..."

Ay'u laughs out loud and Naruk can find his way to his own laughter, it was nice to see that her friend was okay again.

Naruk looks between his food and his family watching Aonung more closely as he speaks.

"So...Aonung have you thought about who you are going to choose as a mate yet?"

Aonung visibly chokes but tries to maintain his composure, meanwhile the eyes of the entire family are focused on him curious for the answer.

"I haven't thought about it yet"

"It's been over a year since you completed your iknimaya it's impossible that you haven't thought about it!"

"I just haven't thought about it yet!!!" Aonung exclaims surprising everyone with his exaltation.

A brief silence falls on the marui before Naruk leaves a final comment.

"In that case I think you should think about it" Naruk looks at her brother with a slightly teasing look "I know of people interested".

She was worried as for a moment she could almost see something she swore was sadness behind her brother's indifferent mask. Without her realizing it her final comment makes Ronal direct a curious look at her.

The second month that was spent completing his missing rituals and making the courting necklace that he would give to Naruk on the day he would complete his iknimaya. His insistence on making the entire necklace himself led to it taking much longer than he had anticipated but he wanted it that way. It would be a gift to Naruk, his future mate, it would be the gift that would make her his mate, and so in his eyes it was something too intimate for others to do for him, even if only to help. His family had helped him learn how to do it, now was the final test and he was to do it alone.

It was worth it.

Lo'ak thinks as he lifts the necklace so he can look at it from all angles. Everything was ready, tomorrow he would tame the tsurak and ask Naruk to become his mate.

Naruk watches with concern as Lo'ak sits on the beach. Since Neteyam's death he had been isolating himself and that was worrying the young Metkayina tremendously.

She was in doubt whether to go to him or not but when she saw him shivering she immediately started walking to him. Upon realizing her presence Lo'ak quickly stands up wiping away tears.

"Naruk" Lo'ak says trying to disguise himself "What are you doing here?"

Naruk's heart squeezed at how downcast he looked and she herself might find herself on the verge of tears just from his condition. When she lifts her gaze from the floor Lo'ak is taken aback by her tears. He doesn't know what to say but Naruk is quick to embrace him and with her arms around his waist Lo'ak can feel her crying.

Lo'ak's arms ghost over his body, still hesitant to hug her, his heart was so confused but he felt he wanted to cry with her.

"It's not your fault" Naruk says between solutions.

Those simple words are enough to make all the already unstable barriers he has put on himself over the past few weeks crumble. Lo'ak hugs Naruk tightly as tears begin to fall freely. A warrior should not cry, especially in front of others, he knew that but... in that moment with Naruk in his arms he felt it was okay. For weeks he had tried to stand firm and be strong, not to cry, not to let others see. But now it was okay, with Naruk it was okay.

He had never felt like this before, he felt understood, she didn't say it but he felt as if she saw him.

He cried for hours in her arms until he could feel his tired eyes close and he sighed as he fell asleep. Naruk looked down at the boy in her arms smiling fondly pulling a braid from his face.

She would give anything for him.

Lo'ak woke up a few hours later lying in the sand, looking over he could see Naruk still sleeping and smiled as he remembered what happened. He could feel much better, besides having put out everything he had been holding onto for the past few weeks he was still able to sleep peacefully as he had not slept since the death of his brother.

Looking at the young woman beside him he smiles at how peaceful she looks. His fingertips lightly touch her cheek and he sighs when beautiful light blue eyes open to look at him.

Today was Aonung's 18th birthday and also the day of his last rite of iknimaya, taming a tsurak. The mood in general was cheerful, everyone trying to forget recent events so they could celebrate the coming of age of their next Olo'eyktan. Lo'ak was curious, since his arrival he had not seen any of the rites of the ikinimaya of the Metkayina.

He spots Naruk with Ay'u and starts to approach but Ay'u leaves her before he can reach the two. Leaving only Naruk and Lo'ak he approaches smiling.

"Hi"

Naruk looks away from where he was following Ay'u to see Lo'ak beside him and smiles back.

"Hi"

Lo'ak smiles wider and asks in a mocking tone pointing to where Aonung is now standing with Ay'u "Is this the day he turns man?"

Naruk laughs "You talk as if you already are"

"I am. I completed my iknimaya long ago"

"Do you know how to ride a tsurak?" Naruk asks raising his eyebrows.

"No..."

"Then maybe you are a man to the Omatikaya but in the Metkayina to be considered an adult you have to reach the age of 18 and tame a tsurak"

They both find themselves interrupted when the conch shells are raised signaling that the ceremony will begin. Lo'ak returns to her family while Naruk heads over to hers and Ay'u.

Lo'ak watches in awe as Aonung finally manages to stabilize himself in the tsurak by submerging, surfacing and flying away before posing in front of the people. Everyone celebrates as Lo'ak smiles as she watches Naruk hug her brother and smiles proudly.

Shortly after Aonung's ceremony there was Ay'u's, whom Lo'ak learned to be Naruk's best friend, surpassing even his twin sister Tsireya.

Just as on Aonung's day he finds them together and approaches them as they talk.

"I don't know what if I don't make it? I'm so nervous"

"I'm not nervous! Of course you will make it! You have a goal right?" Ay'u nods "For that you have to be an adult for so sure you will make it!"

Ay'u smiles biting her lip at her words and looks away to Aonung who nods at her causing Naruk to push her towards him shouting "I'm not worried so you can't stay either!"

Once Ay'u is away Naruk turns around leaning on Lo'ak and gasping for breath.

"I hope she makes it"

Loak laughs "I thought you weren't worried"

"Of course I am she is my best friend! If she doesn't pass she won't be able to have a mate and I know she is eyeing someone who has already completed the iknimaya!"

Ay'u already know who she will choose? Lo'ak thought curiously.

Naruk stayed close to Lo'ak during the test, she watched as her friend was knocked down by the tsurak and grabbed his arm tightly. Lo'ak just smiled placing his hand over hers on her arm and whispering "She can do it".

Ay'u mounted the tsurak again and this time when she made the connection he seemed to calm down easily. Naruk smiled as her friend flew off landing softly in the sea concluding the rite of passage, she ran to hug her but Aonung managed to reach her first.

Lo'ak reached Naruk and laughed along with her at Ay'u's blushing state as Aonung hugged her. It seems it was obvious who Ay'u wishes to choose. That made him look at Naruk wondering if she wished for someone.

Shortly after Aonung and Ay'u's rituals Lo'ak, Naruk, Tsireya and Kiri turned 17. After that a year passed quickly, Lo'ak was confused as to why Aonung and Ay'u did not unite but decided that the matter was not his business. The next thing he knew it was not long before Naruk and Tsireya had their own ritual.

During this time Lo'ak could proudly call himself Naruk's best friend, his relationship with Aonung improved and the three of them used to hang out together with Ay'u, Rotxo, Tsireya and Kiri, sometimes even Tuk. It was fun but most of the time he ended up alone with Naruk, herself having plenty of free time since she was not training like Tsireya and Ay'u with Ronal.

Many afternoons were spent on the beach where she comforted him after his brother died, he would usually lay his head in her lap as they talked but would eventually fall asleep. Naruk would smile and stay that way until he woke up, rocking him lovingly, straightening his braids and taking the opportunity to decorate every little detail of his face.

Although by now Lo'ak could sleep better at night he still slept much better in the afternoon with Naruk. Sometimes when her own was tired she would fall asleep first and Lo'ak would return the favor by carefully lying down on the sand and laying her on his chest. Naruk had to admit that lying on his chest while his arms wrapped around her was her favorite way to wake up.

Somewhere during that time Lo'ak introduced Naruk to Payakan. When Naruk brought his sister to see Payakan Lo'ak was extremely happy and so was Payakan.

Lo'ak was talking with Payakan while they waited, Naruk had said he would meet them as soon as he finished his chores. The sound of another tulkun brings them both out of their conversation and they turn to see Naruk with Tullik, Payakan and Lo'ak are surprised. Payakan for not knowing that Tullik was Naruk's spirit sister and Lo'ak for not expecting another tulkun to come to Payakan even if it was Naruk's sister.

It was a day Lo'ak would never forget, the day his brother finally got to talk to another tulkun after years of isolation, not just any other tulkun but one who was his friend and missed him.

That day Lo'ak and Naruk left alone back to the Metkayina leaving the two tulkuns to continue talking as years of separation could not be summed up in just one afternoon.

From that day on the four began to hang out often and Lo'ak couldn't help but smile whenever he saw how happy Payakan was to see Tullik. He was happy that his brother finally had a friend.

Another day Lo'ak would never forget was the day Naruk completed her iknimaya, it came faster than he could have predicted.

Naruk looked beautiful and this time it was Ay'u who was shaking her while repeating that she would make it, Lo'ak laughed as he joined Ay'u shaking the birthday girl who choked in surprise at being double shaken.

When Ay'u finally left them saying she would go find Tsireya, Lo'ak pulled Naruk closer whispering in her ear.

"I know you can do it"

A shiver ran down her spine and she found herself wishing Lo'ak would whisper in her ear more often, the boy had no idea what he was doing to her. When he pulled away and saw how flushed she was he was confused but as always the sound of the whelks made them run towards the rest of the clan.

Naruk passed the test with more ease than she herself expected and Lo'ak couldn't be prouder. Tsireya was also able to complete it and so the two twin daughters of the Olo'eyktan were presented as adults.

Lo'ak ran to where Naruk and Tsireya were coming out of the water but kept some distance as he wanted to let his family congratulate them first, what he didn't expect was that Naruk herself would run up to him first.

Lo'ak returned the hug and laughed as Naruk repeated the words "I did it" with his face hidden in his chest.

"You did it" he says and Naruk lifts her gaze to meet his, they stare at each other for what seems like hours until Ay'u runs towards both of them and gives them a bear hug. Lo'ak notices how she whispers something to Naruk that makes her choke and blush but he chooses to just laugh, in truth the friendship between Naruk and Ay'u always made him smile. Quickly Tsireya, Kiri, Tuk and even Aonung join in the embrace

It was almost evening by now, the day of Naruk and Tsireya's ceremony was winding down as Aonung and Rotxo had dragged him out for a walk on the beach exchanging ideas while Aonung bragged about his two amazing sisters.

Lo'ak laughs heartily, he is proud that Naruk passed the test and happy with how much Aonung likes his sisters. Looking a little past Aonung who continues to talk something shines in the sand and Lo'ak walks towards him to see what it is.

Caught by surprise Aonung and Rotxo follow Lo'ak to the water's edge where Lo'ak is already crouched holding something, both their eyes widening when they see what it is. Lo'ak smiles turning the shell over in his hand and comments.

"It is beautiful."

Naruk watched with open mouth as ikrans flew over the island and landed before following his twin sister, Tsireya, as she dove into the water.

In the ikrans came six foreign na'vis, their skins were thinner and rounder than those of the Metkayina as were their arms, their skin tone was a darker blue and their eyes were golden.

Naruk can't help but lock gazes with one of them in particular, he seemed to be about her age and surprisingly looked at her as well. Ay'u is quick to catch up with her and as soon as she follows his gaze she whispers.

"Interested?"

Naruk rolls her eyes ready to retort when Aonung starts making fun of them, fortunately Tsireya is quick to rebuke him.

The foreigners desired shelter and surprisingly Naruk's parents granted them that shelter by volunteering her and her siblings to teach them the customs of the Metkayina.

Of course, her mother did this only after showing everyone the "demon blood" that ran in them.

"Are you going to teach the lowest one to kiss?"

"Ay'u!!!" Naruk whispers, Ay'u was her best friend and she loved her but for someone who had been in love with Aonung for years she teased Naruk too much just for looking at a boy a little more.

Naruk and Tsireya guided the Sullys to their marui. The youngest of the sisters is distracted watching little Tuk jump in the nets.

"What is your name?"

Hearing him speak Naruk looks at him, the "shorter" Na'vi as Ay'u had called him and whom she was looking at earlier.

"Naruk. What about yours?" She asks being able to feel a smile forming.

"Lo'ak" He replies returning the smile.

Naruk dives into the water with his brothers, Rotxo and Ay'u for the Sully brothers' first swimming lesson.

But while swimming three of them had to return to the surface to breathe. It makes sense. Naruk thought, they were not used to it, they could not hold their breath for so long.

They dive again only for Tsireya to speak to them in sign language. She can see their confused faces and rolls her eyes, of course they could not understand. When they stop to breathe for the second time and Aonung starts to comment Naruk follows them to the surface waving to Ay'u to follow but Ay'u is lost between her and Aonung.

"Are you guys okay?" She asks as she emerges.

The others emerge in time to hear Tuk whine.

"You guys are too fast wait a minute"

"It's just breathing" Tsireya explains.

"You guys swim badly. You might even be good at jumping into trees but-"

Tsireya interrupts Aonung by tapping his head.

"We don't even know how to talk with our fingers, we have no idea what you are saying" says Neteyam.

She was about to speak but gets lost as she looks at Lo'ak and sees that the latter was already looking at her. Tsireya speaks "My sister and I can teach, right Naruk?"

Ay'u rolls her eyes and pokes Naruk causing her to finally take her eyes off Lo'ak's to realize her sister's question and state unsure of what she is agreeing with.

Lo'ak was the first to try riding an ilu, Tsireya helped him but as expected was unable to keep up. Naruk smiled approaching him as Tsireya went to help Tuktirey.

"Lo'ak"

"Naruk"

"I will help"

"Thank you"

Lo'ak smiles and Naruk immediately felt mesmerized by the sight.

Naruk tries to remain neutral as Tsireya tries to teach Lo'ak to breathe but it proves difficult when he seems so anxious, his eyes alternating between her and Tsireya as the latter keeps her hands on his chest and stomach.

His panic only increases when Tsireya comments on his rapid heartbeat but he finally seems to focus when Naruk suggests.

"Perhaps it would be best to let Rotxo teach you."

Naruk was about to approach Kiri, curious what the young woman from the forest was seeing but before she could do so the Aonung group started pestering her. Running up to them Naruk slaps his brother's hands causing him to let go of Kiri's hand.

"That's not funny!"

"Oh come on little sis don't tell me you like the crazies" Aonung teases laughing but before she can point out her reaction Lo'ak yells.

"Hey! Leave them alone!"

The group teases Lo'ak while Naruk and Kiri demand that they leave them alone, luckily Neteyam interrupts preventing the situation from getting worse. As they walk away Kiri pulls her with them.

"Are you okay?" Naruk asks and Kiri nods smiling, for a moment she crosses her gaze with Lo'ak and can feel herself sinking into his golden gaze before he looks away and walks back towards Aonung's group.

"Lo'ak!" whispers Neteyam.

"Easy brother" he turns to Aonung showing his hand and waving his pinky "I know the hand is funny, eh I'm a freak, weird"

Naruk frowns, she actually always thought Lo'ak's fifth finger was cute and made him anything but weird or a freak. The young Metkayina chokes when Lo'ak hits Aonung causing them to fight back and start a fight.

Neteyam shakes her head laughing and joins in to defend her brother, Naruk is still shocked but hearing Kiri's laughter she looks at the situation again and can find her own laughter. It was four against two, the powerful chief's eldest son and his friends against the two foreign Omaticaya freaks but...Lo'ak and Neteyam were winning. While Kiri's brothers had only a few scratches Naruk could tell that Aonung was about to lose that ear to Lo'ak.

Lo'ak was impulsive, but he was also a strong warrior with his heart in place.

Naruk liked to keep himself apart from trouble and Loak looked like a lot of it but he also looked like a lot of trouble Naruk would like to have in his life.

Naruk watched from the beach as Lo'ak approached her brother and the others, she was strange when they all set off together towards off the reef but decided it would be better to wait and see. Sitting down on the sand Naruk began to think as she waited for the four to return.

Ever since the Sullys arrived she has wondered what the forest will look like, of course the island has trees but what would a huge expanse of them look like? What kind of trees would there be? And would the animals be very different?

Although Naruk was not sure if the beauty of the forest would outweigh the reef she would still like to go there. At least in this she was luckier than Tsireya, being the eldest daughter she should take Tsahík's place in case something happens and Aonung cannot take the lead, as Naruk could live more freely. She was not the pride of her parents, let alone the hope of the clan but she still did things to the best of her ability and had no regrets if she wasn't the best.

Maybe that's why she had been so attracted to Lo'ak after all he was also the second son of a leader (now former leader) but unlike Naruk who had found peace in his position he just seemed lost with too much fear of letting everyone down. Naruk couldn't help but want to help him.

It was almost dusk by the time Ay'u approached pulling her from her thoughts.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm waiting for the boys to come back"

"Your brother and the others?" Naruk nods "Why?"

"They went off the reef but took Lo'ak"

"The Lo'ak?" Ay'u asks with a teasing smile.

"Come on you know how my brother has been to them"

"Eh...he was all wound up earlier but he wouldn't let me treat him"

Sensing her friend sad Naruk tries to change the direction of the conversation.

"Tsireya told me that the classes are going well, she says that if you keep this up you will most likely be chosen as the next Tsahík and Aonung's betrothed"

Ay'u bites her lip trying not to smile "I think she went a little overboard"

"Don't you want to be?" Naruk teases and Ay'u immediately blushes.

"W-wait a minute! I thought we were talking about you and Lo'ak!"

"Come on Ay'u I see how you look at my brother"

"Well and I see how you look at Lo'ak!"

Both stare at each other defiantly before Aonung's group finally reaches the reef...without Lo'ak. Naruk waits for him to appear further back but when she doesn't see him she runs to find Neteyam. Ay'u sighs, why did he have to be such an idiot?

Naruk sighed with relief when she saw Lo'ak return well, now she could see that maybe Ay'u was right. Maybe she did like Lo'ak.

To say she didn't believe him when he said it was his fault was an understatement, she was about to chase him down to ask him why he took the blame for Aonung next to Ay'u who was obviously going to talk to Aonung but they both stop when they heard them talking.

"Why did you defend me?"

"Because I know what it feels like to be a huge disappointment"

Naruk sighed sadly. Oh Lo'ak...you are too important to me, similar in walk to a disappointment. She thought

If she already thought he was amazing before now she was sure. It was ridiculous that everyone was doubting him after all none of us have ever seen Payakan, all we know about him comes from rumors but Lo'ak was with him and if he says tulkun is friendly then he was telling the truth.

When the tulkuns finally returned Naruk was able to introduce Lo'ak to his spirit sister and let's just say that from that moment on it wasn't just Ay'u teasing her.

Naruk was chatting animatedly with her sister when she noticed Lo'ak's absence, looking for him she could see him near the surface with his head submerged just watching. Would he be thinking of Payakan?

The Na'vi questioned her sister, Tullik, about Payakan explaining what happened and although the latter was hesitant after they got a little away from everyone she explained that if we put Payakan as a Na'vi he would be considered a warrior, however from the tulkun point of view he was just an assassin. Naruk felt surprised to learn that her own sister knew him and secretly agreed with Payakan, if the tulkuns would fight even if only to defend themselves from the sky people many would be saved.

Naruk watched alongside his brothers, Rotxo and Neteyam as Lo'ak entered inside Payakan and made the connection. After what her spirit sister told her about the history of Payakan she felt sorry for the tulkun. When Lo'ak left Payakan she could see how upset he looked, Naruk understood him.

Naruk's sister also had her mother killed by hunters, luckily for her Payakan found her, he was only a few years older than her but still took care of her. He told her his story and she wanted to stay with him so he wouldn't live alone but when the tulkuns returned he took her to them before disappearing.

The young tulkun was extremely sad but she knew that Payakan did what he thought was best for her, so she integrated into that community that welcomed her with open arms however, she always had to keep her history with Payakan a secret.

Naruk felt his heart warm when Lo'ak embraced the tulkun. Lo'ak was definitely special.

It was strange for Naruk to be scolded, she was not a constantly praised spotlight but she had always stayed out of trouble so this was something new to her. Just because it was new didn't mean she was going to let it get her down, she knew she had done the right thing by letting Lo'ak connect with Payakan. Her only regret was how bad Tsireya had gotten and the way Lo'ak was being scolded by everyone although she knows he would do it all over again.

The death of Naruk's mother's sister and her baby was a shock to the entire clan, it was Naruk's sister who warned the Na'vis. The whole clan was furious and ready for battle if not for Jake's intervention. All the tulkuns were to be warned however Payakan was an outcast, as soon as Lo'ak left the crowd Naruk ran after him.

She knew he would warn Payakan and she would go with him. Naruk ran overtaking Lo'ak and pulling with her.

"Come on, we have to be fast" Naruk said diving into the water and putting his saddle on ilu, Lo'ak follows suit and starts to put his saddle on when Neteyam arrives and they both start arguing.

When Naruk's older brothers arrive with Rotxo, Lo'ak jumps into the water clinging to the ilu and running away. The four start chasing him and oh how she will be in trouble but for now she had to help Lo'ak and Payakan. Speeding up with her ilu she does a tight turn on the others knocking them off the ilu before joining Lo'ak.

When they finally reach Payakan the tulkun is already scarred, the whole group scrambled to save him but what happened next was a huge blur of fire, blood and pain. Those Na'vis demons threatened Lo'ak, Payakan appeared to protect him but still Neteyam died.

This event led Naruk to realize how much she cared for Lo'ak, she found him interesting and at first categorized it as a crush but now she had no way to deny that she was in love with him. Which brought her to her current biggest concern, she could see, she could see how Lo'ak was blaming herself for her brother's death.

She couldn't let that happen.

summary: Y/n has been Chorme's best friend since forever, as such she grew up wishing that she and Chrome would be mates, however Chrome grew up in love with Ruri and wished for her to be his mate.

For as long as Y/n can remember she and Chrome have always been friends, something that would be normal since the village wasn't that big, but Y/n and Chrome were best friends. Always together. Both always there for each other. Y/n repeatedly running away from training with her brothers, Kinro and Ginro, to explore and hunt rocks with Chrome. She was there all the time. Taking care of him when sick, cheering him up, always being there no matter what the people in her village said. She loved being with Chrome. It was just so right. She came to love being afraid of thunderstorms, this was because as soon as Chrome found out, he was always there, as soon as a cloud was spotted he was by her side. Offering his embrace as shelter and she loved it.

She was afraid she was being foolish and thought she knew what love was. Yet what else could it be if not love? Because she was always there and if it wasn't love it wouldn't hurt. If it wasn't love it wouldn't hurt like a thousand knives when Chrome trusted her with his passion for Ruri. And it certainly wouldn't bring him to tears as Y/n watched Chrome grow with his passion for Ruri.

But Y/n was always there. And so she listened. She heard how Ruri's eyes looked like the sea and her hair shone in the sun, how lovely she was, how good she smelled, and how angelic her voice was.

It was when the tasting of the plant came that Y/n was flooded with hope, Chrome said it was spicy, but to her it was sweet. They were alpha and omega. They could be mates. That could be why Y/n loved him from such an early age and everything with him seemed so right.

A short hope that was shattered when she heard Ruri say it was sweet. Omega. Anguish flooded her as she saw Chrome's eyes sparkled with joy and hope. He must have been thinking the same thing she was. Alpha and omega. With the difference that the omega was Ruri. And Y/n accepted. Ruri was better suited, she had everything that Y/n didn't, she would be the priestess and next to her Chrome would be the village chief. She would be a better mate, over all because she had something that Y/n would never have. Chrome's heart.

And once again she was there for him. Listening to him fantasize about him and Ruri being mates and the life they could have. Their dreams of the future.

When Senku showed up with a cure for Ruri, Y/n and everyone else gave it their all until she was finally healed. It was after Hyoga's attack on the village that happened, Gen threw out a very direct hint 'Chrome is very dedicated to what he loves. I think any omega what you would like to have as an alpha don't you think Y/n?' it might have seemed like an innocent question to anyone, but Gen was a mentalist. And at that moment she knew that Gen knew of her feelings for Chrome, for a while he didn't mention anything and Y/n was grateful.

It was about a week later when Chrome came to Y/n at night, falling into tears the moment he hugged her, knocking them both down on Y/n's bed. And it stayed that way for a while. With Chrome crying his whole self out while Y/n hugged him, stroking his hair waiting patiently for him to calm down. As they get older, their scents start to develop and Y/n released his scent in waves of comfort to try and help Chrome. When this one calmed down he dropped the bomb 'Ruri and I kissed' He took it all in Y/n to hold back his tears, however before she could ask why he was crying since everyone knew that the kiss between mates just felt right and they would just know Chrome spoke again 'She's not my mate. And it wasn't even necessary for her to tell me. I could feel it myself, it didn't feel right. It didn't feel right in the slightest.' Y/n hugged Chrome more tightly 'I'm sorry Chrome'

It was true, Y/n really was sorry. If Ruri wasn't Chrome's mate then it was probably her. But she knew, it was Ruri that Chrome wanted and mate or not she couldn't compare herself to Ruri at all. She just wanted Chrome to be happy, but because of her fault he never would be. All because she was his mate.

That night Chrome fell asleep in Y/n's arms as she poured out all her love in the form of affection. She would love it if she hadn't been born this way. In the middle of the night Y/n awoke to a burst of scent. It was Chrome. For some reason it had presented itself, unlike omegas that presented themselves in heat alphas simply "exploded in hormones" and about six months later the routine would appear. With that Y/n eventually fell asleep in tears, for with Chrome's scent fully revealed she was sure. Chrome was her mate. But he didn't want her.

As time went on Chrome got better. On the other hand, Y/n began to be teased constantly by Gen. Chrome began to notice how Y/n constantly blushed at something Gen said, all the teasing and how the two eventually grew closer, maybe Gen was her alpha? That thought bothered him deeply and stopping to think about it further he had never speculated about who his best friend's mate would be. It was supposed to be someone from the village as she had once told him that she suspected who it might be, but had never shared who it was. But she only suspected.

Now with Kaseki's granddaughter as Senku's mate they knew that her mate could be from outside the village. It could be Gen.

Chrome decides that he would ask who this person from the village was. Of course the idea wouldn't bother him like the idea of it being Gen.

'Y/n?' Chrome found her near a rocky area near the mountain, she had the hobby of making paints out of flowers and painting on the rocks the most beautiful and varied designs. Sitting down next to her he says 'Can I ask you a question?' 'Sure' she replies without even taking her eyes off the huge rock wall 'Who is your alpha?' Surprising her with his question Y/n runs his finger all over the painting and makes a huge scratch 'I don't know' 'Bullshit. When we were younger you said you suspected who it might be. I wanted to know who you suspected'

'It doesn't matter' 'How does it not matter?' 'It doesn't matter'. Y/n insists and gets up to leave, but Chrome stops her by holding her wrist and insists 'How does it not matter Y/N?' Turning to him with tears in her eyes, some of them already shed she explains 'He want another omega, not me' Chrome frowns 'How do you know that?' 'Because he told me!!So it doesn't matter who it is much less that I love him with everything I have. Because everything I have isn't enough ok? So please let's not talk about this again' Y/n releases herself from his grip and leaves him there with his own thoughts.

What idiot would say he wanted another omega to his own mate?

The change happened over the winter and Chrome just wanted to kick himself for such stupidity. During that time he managed to get over Ruri, however he fell flat on his face by y/n. His best friend who was always there for him, now that there was no longer Ruri in his head it seemed that Y/n was glowing and Chrome realizes everything he couldn't see before. Worst of all was that he could now see that he never loved Ruri and only called her that because he didn't know any stronger feelings. But now he knew and he loved Y/n, his friend who had the world's biggest jerk as her alpha. If he didn't want her then maybe he could have a chance right? Chrome shakes his head to scare those thoughts away. She said she loved him, it would be selfish of him.

Finally one day while working with Senku on the phone a smell filled the air and Chrome knew. Mate. That was all that was going through his mind and with a simple look Senku understood. He had to go. As he made his way back to the village his thoughts were clouded by memories of Y/n.

As he followed the scent was getting closer and closer to his own, as he entered he followed the scent to the room meant for Y/n's rut. He knew very well where it was, as children they played there a lot and even after it was known that she was an omega they spent several nights there just talking and snuggling in each other's arms.

When he walked in and saw her there he was sure and everything finally fell into place in his mind.

Y/n was his mate. The omega he loved was his mate. Not only that, but she had been in love with him for years and all Chrome knew how to do was fantasize about another omega before his mate and even cry in his arms lamenting that his mate was not another. Leaving it to his imagination that he would never want her even if they were mates.

Chrome's tears fall like a river. He could never make up for all the pain he brought her. He didn't even deserve her.

Y/n looks at the door when she is overcome by Chrome's delicious smell. Just the smell of him was enough to soothe her pain. However, another huge kind of pain came when she saw Chrome's tears.

'I'm sorry' Chrome couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was the one who should be apologizing 'If it wasn't for me it would surely be Ruri. I know I'm not the one you want as a mate, but please forgive me. On the other hand, Chrome had never been so horrified in his life. An idiot was little to describe him. More tears fall from Chrome's eyes, he lies down on the nest, pulls her to his chest hugging her tightly and kissing her forehead 'I know the first heat is mostly pain, so I will stay here with you, I will mark you and then it will hurt less and pass faster. Then we can wait for another heat or as many as you want to mate and all that stuff, I really don't care. I just want to see you happy' Y/n laughs kissing Chrome's neck and he blushes 'You are a perfect alpha Chrome'

She was happy, Gen was right, Chrome really was a great alpha.

Chrome bit Y/n's connection point and let her mark it to him. They both licked their wounds until they stopped bleeding.

Thus they fell into a comfortable silence and fell asleep. With marks proudly displayed on their skin. They were mates, alpha and omega, Chrome and Y/n. And that was the way it should be, that was the way it had always been. Now it was right.

Avatar series

So I was working on my avatar series, it will be three interconnected series. Lo'ak x reader, Neteyam x reader and Aonung x reader. Of course in all the series reader will be different and will be referred to in the others with a Na'vi name. The thing is, it's seriously confusing me to alternate events between the 3 when in one I have to call one character S/n and in another the other... so I was wondering if it would be okay to keep the name of those characters regardless of the fanfic. Technically it will still be an x reader because as always I won't give physical descriptions. It will be Lo'ak x Naruk, Neteyam x Kiyeri and Aonung x Ay'u. What do you guys think?

(All of them would have their ideades changed to 17 and 18 years old)

Yes! I hope you like it! I feel like I focused a little more on the fact that everyone is so oblivious about their relationship…I also felt it was too short but it turned out to be almost 1.5k words so I hope it's ok!

Summing up my missing

So we can start by saying that I have started my college vacation, my grades are not bad at all, and I am back home! I didn't expect it but as I came back there were so many things to do and to make it all better, out of the blue we had no internet at home! The cables are not very well laid and every now and then some joker messes them up and the whole building is without internet and TV. We thought it was that but we were the only ones without...it took days to complain to the operator, they said the children should have messed with it but there are no children in my house! After my dad discomposed them of everything for not protecting the cables properly the technician finally came and...one of my dogs had chewed the cable 🤡

I thought I was going to go crazy and until now I hadn't realized how important and therapeutic writing has become for me. I wanted so badly to do the Ace x reader fanfic but the one piece manga isn't helping! On the other hand I saw Avatar 2 and got some good ideas for fanfics of Lo'ak, Neteyam and Aonung. They wouldn't be omegaverse but I would love to write them on this blog. What do you think?

If you've read this far I'd just like to say thanks for all the support! I hope I can continue to write fanfics that you all love in the future.

Ajax and Y/n had been friends since childhood, Y/n being the only one who wasn't afraid of being petrified. Neither could say exactly when it happened but from a certain point Ajax's snakes stopped having an effect on Y/n, more like they just didn't want to petrify her. Y/n laughed when Ajax had a jealous scene because his own snakes were not petrifying her but were still petrifying him. Despite this Ajax was extremely relieved as this meant he was no longer in danger of accidentally petrifying her.

Watching the two grow up everyone thought they would make excellent mates. Y/n remembers how depressed she was when she introduced herself as an omega, around her Ajax had always been territorial as an alpha but the fact that he hadn't introduced himself yet could mean that he was a beta. She was so afraid that Ajax wouldn't want to be her mate because she was an omega and unbeknownst to her Ajax himself wondered if Y/n would still want to be his mate even if he was a beta. For a while their friendship suffered from both their uncertainties but when Ajax finally introduced himself as an alpha all doubts were put aside. As soon as the newly discovered alpha set foot outside the house to meet Y/n she was already there clinging to him and sobbing about how afraid she was that she couldn't be his mate. Ajax smiled as she returned the hug, he could understand her perfectly.

From that moment on there was no doubt that they belonged to each other.

They both entered Nevermore in the same year but while Y/n was immediately identified as an omega Ajax was mistaken for a beta. Honestly they both thought they were being super clear about being mates but apparently the rest of the school didn't. Maybe because Ajax never bothered to clarify that he was an alpha and omegas and betas pairs are almost non-existent and since

Y/n didn't know how everyone, including his closest friends, could be so blind. Ajax and Y/n were always together. Caresses like hugs, kisses on the hand, forehead or cheek, were in everyone's eyes. Lunch hours, breaks and parties were constantly spent in each other's arms. Even the smell of both of them was completely mixed! But still no one understood.

The school not understanding that Y/n and Ajax were mates was something they could both deal with, in fact this situation generated several bets between them on how far they could go without anyone noticing. Unfortunately that situation led to several alphas thinking he was available and trying their luck. That situation led to where she is now, at a "girls' night out" with Enid, Bianca, Yoko and Divina venting about how frustrating and stressful it was to have all those alphas after her.

"I've been rejecting them one after another and yet they keep coming!"

"It's normal for alphas to be interested in unclaimed omegas" says Yoko.

"Uh uh what if we helped you find an alpha?" Enid suggests enthusiastically.

Y/n sighs in exasperation, this was going too far. Loosening her uniform slightly to allow them all to see her bond mark she states.

"I already have an alpha!!!"

They all sigh in shock and immediately begin to speculate what their mate would look like, however before any can remember to ask the name the monitor knocks on the dormitory door ending the girls' night.

The whole situation of the previous night seemed to serve as a trigger for the group to finally notice the interactions between Ajax and Y/n but unfortunately not in the way they both would have liked...which in a way only made it funnier.

Y/n saw the shocked faces of all the girls when she sat on Ajax's lap during the lunch hour and how they all seemed to be short-circuited.

Suddenly all of their caresses were exposed to everyone's eyes and whispers like, "Isn't Ajax too close to her?", "Did he always say goodbye to her with a kiss on the forehead?", "Have they always been together so long?"

It was too funny and frustrating how they still couldn't figure out that Ajax was her alpha. On the other hand they were all totally confused, all the behaviors they attributed to an old friendship as almost brothers started to be seen with concern since Y/n had a mate.

The rumor that Y/n had a mate didn't seem to stop the other alphas and although she initially didn't share the situation with Ajax so as not to worry him, she was glad he found out.

The couple had arranged to have a picnic in the woods when Ajax thought Y/n was taking too long and decided to look for her. Unfortunately while the omega was going to meet Ajax some idiot alphas decided to pester her again and oh she couldn't describe her relief at seeing her alpha arrive. The bunch of idiots definitely didn't expect what was coming.

"Come on I know any of us are much better than that alpha of yours"

"Yeah where the hell is he anyway?"

The three laughed but Y/n smiled as he saw Ajax approaching, the laughter stopped when the smell of an extremely pissed off alpha hit their noses. The three "alphas" looked in terror at the one they had hitherto thought was just a beta.

"Alpha!" Y/n shouts happily and runs to him hugging him.

"A-alpha?"

"I-I thought he was a beta"

"Well he obviously isn't!"

The whispering is interrupted by Ajax's loud growl and all three excuse themselves before running off.

As soon as he sees them leave the alpha sighs and gives a fond kiss on the top of Y/n's head resuming his peaceful attitude. Ajax was an alpha but the aggressive attitudes and cock fighting typical of alphas seemed ridiculous to him, don't get him wrong but when he had so much security in his omega none of that made sense if not in situations like this. Maybe that's why they mistook him so much for a beta.

"Picnic?" Y/n asks.

Ajax smiles in agreement.

The incident left the whole school in a burburim about how scary Y/n's alpha was which finally drove other applicants away. On the other hand it only made the group of girls more worried. If Y/n's alpha was in the school and was that scary how did he leave a beta so close to his omega???

Y/n was currently in her room with Ajax, the alpha might not be a big fan of reading but when Y/n sat between his legs with her back against his chest and he could put his arms around her waist resting his chin on her shoulder as she read to him? The whole reading perspective seemed to be redefined.

A knock on the door makes them both look up as Enid, Bianca and Yoko storm into their dorm room in search of answers.

"Okay Y/n we definitely need to talk about-" Enid interrupts herself as she sees the situation "That!!!" She almost screams pointing at the bed.

"What about it?" Y/n asks smiling.

Ah Ajax was definitely tired of this.

"Yes what do you have?" Ajax asks starting to deposit small kisses along Y/n's neck making her sigh contentedly.

The whole group looks at each other with wide eyes and even Bianca prefers to let Enid lead.

"Ajax" she starts again "I don't think Y/n's alpha will like you being so close to her"

"I don't think he cares"

"You think?"

"I'm sure"

Y/n tries to hold back her laughter at Ajax and Enid's conversation.

"Girls! You won't believe it!"

Everyone turns to Divina who storms into the room.

"What is it!!!?" Shout all three of them in unison.

"A-Ajax him-"

"He's too close to Y/n!" Interrupts Bianca.

"N-No! Xavier told me...Ajax is the alpha of Y/n"

At that moment they all turn to the couple, Ajax displays a mocking smile waving slightly as if introducing himself for the second did and at this point Y/n laughs out loud at all the improbability of the whole situation.

Still shocked Enid tries to argue.

"But we thought you were a beta!"

Ajax raises an eyebrow "Beta?"

"Y-yes"

Ajax sighs as he makes his scent stronger to prove his point. Upon smelling the scent Yoko finally interferes.

"I think we should go, we've cleared up our doubts"

Pushing the others out of the room Ajax and Y/n laugh as the door closes.

"They were shocked" Y/n says turning in the alpha's embrace.

"Yeah...I think you won, I even kissed your neck and still they didn't join the dots!"

Omega laughs "That means you owe me dinner!"

As fun as it was it was nice that everyone finally knew that Y/n belonged to Ajax and Ajax to Y/n.
