Has it been confirmed Meluan is his aunt? I know I also got that impression very strongly, but I also saw a theory that she’s Denna’s aunt. So I’m just wondering about that.
Meluan is Kvothe’s aunt.
Kvothe’s mother was once noble…

Kvothe recognizes her, but can’t place where he knows her from - he only visited his family when he was very young. Once.
