Her throat tightened when Iridessa confirmed it, “Fuck,” She breathed, “I thought he knew better. Obviously he doesn’t tell me much anymore… Didn’t think I was gonna have a nephew for a few more years.”

“It was one drunk night... It was just an accident.” Iridessa explained with a light shrug.  “Neither of us were expecting it, I guess maybe he didn’t want to disappoint you while we figured this all out.” She knew about Fiona and Lips close connection.  This revelation surprised her.

    He figured she’d  find him. After all she was the one who knew him best. “Hey.” He said blowing out a puff of smoke and flicking the butt of his cigarette over the side of the bleachers. it was nearly midnight and Piper sat on the school bleachers. 

   “Did my mom ask you to come find me?” He sighed. 

        Ellie climbed up the bleachers tossing her bag down beside him. “Well actually my best friend senses were triggered and I followed the smell of self loathing.” She commented as a joke pulling a cigarette from her bag and lighting it.

   “I could give you a ride.”

    “Or tastefully reckless.” Periwinkle called out stopping on the road with a light smile, her right hand looped under her backpack strap.  The killings had made news quick even for this small town, “I don’t think Sidney would enjoy you giving me a ride.”

     “Shhh....” Lucien explained as he turned around after tucking in the petite girl in his tent.  The young native pulled his hair back as he eye’d the other.  “She’s trying to sleep, if we need to talk... Let’s take it outside.”

“No, you’re hurt. She’s my sister. She’s my responsibility. Not yours.” Rufio pushed the curtain to the tent aside, moving her inside and sitting her down on one of the makeshift cots. “Stay here. I promise I will get her back.” He told her, giving a weak smile before he turned and walked out. He instructed one of the boys to stitch Nani up and take her back to her camp. that she was not to be harmed before he left the camp and headed for shore. Hook would be near shore, he had to be. He just had to find him. 

      Nani tried to protest but she felt herself growing weak.  “Bring her back safely...” She called out, “And you better bring your ass back as well.” She added with a loud groan as she laid her head back in the cot.  “You better be safe....” She sighed as a lost boy began examining her.     In the woods Lucien had been tracking Adi and the pirates, having strayed away from the rest of the Hunters.  He was pissed at the tribe, at himself, and most of all at the Pirates.  They never moved this far inland let along encroach on tribal territory and his sister got caught up in the mix. He baby sister was out there and he was no where closer to finding her.  When he heard a twig break behind him, he spun around.  A dagger shooting itself from his hand and embedding itself in the tree beside Rufio.
