How would the companions react to the courier getting flustered? <3
Good ask, anon, extremely good ask, thank you
Arcade: He would get flustered in return. Its a vicious cycle.
Boone: Tbh he wouldn’t notice
Cass: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Christine: She’d laugh to herself, finding the courier’s embarrassment cute
Dean: He’d grin; “Still got it”
Follows-Chalk: He’d tease them about it, secretly very happy about being able to fluster the courier
Joshua: A large dose of confusion washes over the cooked man
Raul: Gets flustered back
Ulysses: Wouldn’t notice, the fool’s probably too busy rambling about something
Veronica: She’d grin and tease the courier. A lot.
Vulpes: Wouldn’t care. Which is a bit rude if you ask me.
Waking-Cloud: Also wouldnt care too much, she’d think about it later though

Companions getting flustered by the courier pls
Arcade: He’d blush heavily, it’d almost look like a bad sunburn. “Oh- wow, okay, um wow okay”
Boone: He’d freeze in place, staring at them, beet red. After a few moments he’d clear his throat and look away. He wouldn’t be able to make eye content for the next half hour
Cass: “Haha damn, wasnt expecting something like that from someone like you, uh do we have any whisky?”
Christine:
Tumblr media
Dean: “Well then! I havent had something like that happen in a long time”
Follows-Chalk: He’d laugh in one of those “ahaha I dont how to respond to this” laughs
Joshua: He’d stare, not knowing how to react for a good while before slowly resuming whatever it was he was doing. It’d be easy to tell he was distracted though
Raul: Another shocked stare, he’d slowly turn red before hiding his face in his hands
Ulysses: He would falter a bit but act mostly unbothered. This is a front, he is very flustered
Veronica: Throughout nervous laughter she’d barely make out a “Whoa, okay then”
Vulpes: He’d simply blush and turn away, then be unable to focus properly for the next several hours
Waking-Cloud: She’d blush, turn away, and busy herself with something

Any chance of some FNV whump? Companion reacts to being lost and running out of food/water in the desert.
Arcade: You would think a followers doctor would know how to survive lost in the desert. Or at least know how to avoid getting lost in the first place. All logic in Arcade’s mind was driven out by panic, replaced by facts. He kept muttering the rule of threes to himself as he searched for someone... anyone. Knowing you can survive up to three hours in extreme climate, or that human cells start to die at 120 degrees wont do him any good now. He stumbled and tripped over himself, collapsing in the dirt. He didnt have the strength to get back up.
Boone: He never expected to die this way. Slugging his way through the vast emptiness of the southwest. The only landmarks were the dozens of mountains that never moved, fading into each other. He was trapped in a bowl of sand, never getting any closer to the edge. Boone was low on ammo. He had a broken leg and a sunburn that stung like the devil’s nails. After what felt like weeks, staying alive by drinking from the odd barrel cacti that he found, he saw a small group of NCR soldiers on the horizon. His life could be held onto for a little while longer.
Cass: Have you ever had a hangover while dehydrated and half starved in the middle of some god-forsaken desert? No? Lucky you. Alongside the dizzying illness that had overtaken her, Cass’s heart problems acted up. Her blood plasma levels were too low, it turned to sludge in her veins. Death’s embrace was a gift.
Christine: The solitude was nothing new. The never ending march was nothing new. The maze of invisible walls, turning you this way and that, was nothing new. The most alien feeling was being lost in the open. The desert was an unforgiving place, empty to anyone who didn’t know where to look. But Christine was a survivor. She didnt spend years in the Big Empty and Sierra Madre to die from thirst. Her mission wasnt over yet. Sunburnt and dehydrated, she refused to die.
Dean: Death was something Dean was good at avoiding. He had survived nuclear bombs, toxic gas, and shambling corpses looking to tear him apart. But it seemed like his luck had finally run out. He sneered. “Luck.” Ah yes, the luck of watching your world crumble around you. The good fortune of being trapped in a maze of crumbling buildings, once meant to house glorious festivities. Luck was never something he had. If anything, dying in this desert was luck. The damnation he had endured was finally over. He was free.
Dog and God: No food. No food. No food but the occasional mole rat. Not enough. Need more. Hey, hey we need to focus. No food... hungry. Hey, listen to me you idiot- Shut up. Excuse me? Shut up. I need food. Hungry. No, what we need is water and shelter from this sun. Food- Listen to me! Utobitha is north of here. We go there and we can get food. North... hungry... Yes, yes, food is north! Go! Go north...
Follows-Chalk: How ironic that a man named after his internal compass would be lost in the desert. He knew where he was going... he thought. He was going south. South to Nevada, to Vegas. He knew what he was doing. The cacti would tie him over for water, and digging under the sand to sleep would prevent sunburn and freezing to death. The desert got cold at night. He knew this. He knew what to do. Just keep going south.
Joshua: No town would offer him shelter and no man would give him water. Half covered in bandages covering long burnt and blistering skin, raw due to sunburns. He was dehydrated and overheated... his blood was running thick... Nowhere to go... Both the NCR and the Legion would take his head. The Legion especially.... The Legion.... His Legion.... The army he built from nothing, that threw him to the dogs. Did he deserve it? I dont... I dont know.... No, no they threw me out. They... I didnt... He collapsed in the dust.
Lily: The problem with being 10 feet tall is you needed more food and water to keep going. Unfortunately, the desert wasn’t the most generous supplier. The occasional bighorner would tie her over until she got home. Home to Jacobstown. Or was it the vault? “What was that, Leo? No, thats a bad idea.” Keep going. That was what she had to do. No sense in anything else when survival was the top priority. “Leo, please, stop...”
Raul: He had been staggering around this desert for so long that he ran out of snide comments. He was also dehydrated and had a headache that could put the courier’s to shame, but that wasn’t important. He had dodged death for so long... so many times he thought it would finally be over... but it never was. A town appeared on the horizon. Hope. He staggered towards it. But hope was full of raiders, and Raul collapsed in the dust to a stray bullet.
Ulysses: Out of everyone, Ulysses was the most suited to this environment. This was simple compared to the divide. He would kill mole rats for food and drank from any cacti he came across. Keep going was all he knew. Just pick a direction and start walking, keep walking. Keep going, kill a mole rat, keep going, drink from a cactus, keep going, keep going, keep going. It seemed to work. Before long, he found himself staring at a small dusty town.
Veronica: The world is a much bigger place than the bunkers of hidden valley. Its much more unforgiving. Scribe robes weren't built to withstand the harshness of the dessert. They weren’t built to keep out the heat or to protect from sand. Veronica knew a great deal about survival, but none of it was practical knowledge. She swore to herself that she’d never leave the valley without a full canteen of water ever again.
Vulpes: He had never noticed how hostile the mojave was towards Legionaries until he was stranded. Blending in was easy enough, but as soon as he spoke people turned away. He’d never known that the legion accent was recognizable. He was stranded, no food, no water, no weapon. Too tired to run from the NCR troopers approaching him.
Waking-Cloud: Lets be real, she wouldn’t get lost in the first place

Dunno if you're willing to but if you can, can the Think Tanks from Old World Blues react to like... a teen courier? Like just... a courier age 15-17 ending up in Big Mountain. If that's not too much to ask, of course. No pressure.
8: He’d watch his tongue a lot more. Six cant understand what 8′s saying anyway, but 8 feels uncomfy talking that way around a kid.
Borous: Honestly, Six’s age wouldn’t even register to Borous
Dala: Dala would adopt an almost motherly figure. The weird, helicopter mother who still thinks her kid is 4, but a mother none the less.
Klein: Klein would be much more hostile. He doesn’t like kids. If it aint at least 18, it aint deserving of respect
Mobius: Mobius wouldn’t change too much, really. He’d be more simple in his word choice (almost talking down to Six) but other than that would remain the same.
Zero: Zero would try to teach Six some stuff about mechanics. He’d adopt an almost older brother role without knowing it

New Vegas companions react to being asked to hold your drink?
Arcade: Keeps his hand over the top anxiously
Boone: Glares at anyone who gets within six feet of it
Cass: Snaps at anyone and everyone who gets close
Christine: “Accidentally” spills it on Dean
Dean: Drops it
Dog: Guards it with his life
Follows-Chalk: Gets anxiety over it
God: Holds it normally
Joshua: Stares at anyone who gets too close and then smacks them if they any closer
Lily: Switches it out for orange juice
Raul: Drinks it
Ulysses: Stares at it and zones out
Veronica: Ends up throwing it at someone
Vulpes: Holds it from the top
Waking-Cloud: Keeps it close to her and keeps her hand over the top

FNV companions reacting to the courier offhandedly mentioning the fact they were shot point blank in the head? Like the courier just casually brings it up one day (assuming the companions haven't already heard about it)
Arcade: “Ahahaha... you are joking... right?”
Boone: “Was it fatal?”
Cass: “Damn, and I thought my headaches were bad”
Christine:
Tumblr media
Dean: “Maybe your brain wasn’t big enough to hit.”
Dog: “Are you ok?”
Follows-Chalk: “Oh geez, what? Did I hear that right?”
God: “That explains a lot”
Joshua: Isaiah 53:5
Lily: “BY WHO???”
Raul: “Ah, the result of one of your brilliant plans I take it?”
Ulysses: “The Mojave is a dangerous place. People are willing to go to extreme measures to accomplish such a minuscule goal. Are you alright?”
Veronica: “Hm, dont like that”
Vulpes: “Yes, I know.”
Waking-Cloud: “Are you okay? You got proper medical attention, right?”

Fallout 4 companions reacting to making sole scream during sex for the first time
Cait: She laughed and continued what she was doing, drinking up every noise Sole made. She wasn’t gentile, not in the slightest, and Sole had bruises all over their body.
Curie: She immediately stoped whatever it was she was doing, exasperatedly asking, “Are you hurt? Did I hurt you?!” Hands brushing over their body, looking for any wounds. Sole had to explain what screams usually meant during sex.
Danse: There was a lightness in his chest, like his heart was only half beating and his lungs only getting wisps of air. Right then and there, nothing existed besides Sole and himself. He let out a breath of air that caught somewhere between a laugh and a hitch.
Deacon: He grinned, one of those grins that are part ecstasy, part ego. He started to crack a wiseass joke, but found that he couldn’t get the words out of his mouth. He couldn’t get much out of his mouth, in fact, except for panting breaths.
Gage: He growled. He heard Sole and he growled, face buried in the crook of their neck. There was a light feeling in his gut, like a small bloatfly was beating its tiny wings, trying to get out.
Hancock: He hummed in content, grinning. That sound was music to his ears, and everyone else in Goodneighbor’s. Sole couldn’t look anyone in the eye for a solid day.
MacCready: “Is this okay?” He murmured, slowing down, much to Sole’s frustration. After being reassured that YES it was GOOD, he continued what he was doing, not stopping again.
Nick: “Hey, hey,” he whispered, “These walls are thin, remember?” Sole clamped a hand over their mouth to stifle the noise. Although, Nick would be lying if he said that it didn’t do anything to him. Getting Sole to somewhere more isolated was immediately put on his to do list.
Piper: She covered Sole’s mouth, quickly, fearful of anyone finding them. Didn’t matter where they were, trouble had a habit of popping out anywhere. “Trouble” often being Nat.
Preston: His first instinct was that he had hurt Sole, but when they roughly pulled him into a kiss, he knew that it was the other kind of scream.
X6: He clamped a hand over their mouth and kept going. Sole swore that his breath was a little more ragged.

Fallout 4 companions react to New Vegas/The Mojave, like what’s their favorite and least favorite, Stuff like that
Ada: Not a fan of all the dust. It gets stuck in her hardware. Doesn’t really like much about the Mojave, to be honest
Cait: Big fan of the Thorn! She often fights in the ring herself! Not a fan of the NCR though!
Codsworth: Prefers the strip over everything else. A nice little preserved slice of life before the war. Hates the dust, though. Why are things so dusty in the desert? This is stupid.
Curie: Vault 22 is her favorite, actually! She’s fascinated by what had happened, preforming autopsies and experiments on some of the plants and spore carriers. She also can often be found at the New Vegas medical clinic, helping out the followers
Danse: Hangs out in hidden valley, where else? Aside from that, he’s partial to Novac. There’s just something charming about it that he’s drawn to. Admires the NCR from afar, but wouldn’t touch them with a thirty-nine and a half foot pole
Deacon: He likes the old sunset sarsaparilla headquarters! Has fun playing horseshoes with Festus. Also a fan of the followers and helps out where he can
Gage: Goodsprings is Gage’s favorite, surprisingly. He likes the small town feel, where everyone knows and trusts each other. He isnt really inclined towards any of the major player factions in the west. Aint yet sure how he feels about the Legion.
Hancock: Can be found at the red rock drug lab. What, are you surprised? If they let ghouls on the strip, he’d be in Gomorrah. Partial to Freeside, though. It reminds him of Goodneighbor
MacCready: Often found in the Atomic Wrangler, there’s always good merc work to be found over there. When he found out what the Legion was doing, he was disgusted, and offered his help to the NCR
Nick: He does what he can around Westside. They weren’t so keen on trusting him at first, but after a while eventually warmed up to him. Similar to Gage, Nick isnt a fan of the major players in the Mojave.
Old Longfellow: That old fishing platform in Lake Mead. What’s not to love? Water, solitude, and the only enemy is the occasional lakelurk. After what he delt with in Far Harbor, lakelurks are a breeze.
Piper: Piper likes to hang out around the NCR outpost. She can get good stories from all the kinds of people that pass through there, and good food from the vendors.
Preston: Preston likes exploring! He’s been all over the map, from Primm, to Sloan, to Novac, to Camp McCarran. He helps anyone he comes across to the best of his abilities, and excitedly joined up with the Followers when he learned about their mission.
Strong: Strong tried Jacobstown. Strong did not like Jacobstown. Strong tried Black Mountain. Strong liked Black Mountain.
X6: He tries to spend his time in Vault 21, it being one of the cleanest areas in the Mojave. When he does venture out, he can be found at the Silver Rush, doing odd jobs for the VanGraffs.

Oh, I'm glad to see another reactblog in these trying time we're in! How about Fallout New Vegas companions + Vulpes and Ulysses react to a courier who is very affectionate. (They are quick to give someone a hug/pat on the back, they give a lot of verbal confirmations or just lots of compliments.)
Arcade: Would be uncomfy with it at first. Is this a trick? What are they playing at? But when he got to know Six better he’d really appreciate the affection. Unfortunately, they were a bit too trusting, and Arcade would have to pull them out of bad situations often
Boone: He’d act all tough and grumpy and donttouchme-y, but secretly reeeaaally likes it. He's had almost no positive affirmation from anyone since Carla died. Over time, Six would see through his “>:(” facade. Boone isn’t as slick as he thinks.
Cass: Similar to Arcade, she’d be real wary of it at first. Unlike Arcade, she’d let her stance on the situation be known. Loudly. She’d find that she enjoys the affirmations after a while, but is way too stubborn to say so.
Christine: Not here for the hugs, no sirree. Six would settle for resting a hand on her shoulder so they wouldn’t make her feel claustrophobic. Christine would appreciate the sentiment, though.
Dean: He hasn’t really felt human affection since the bombs dropped. Everyone he’s encountered either tried to kill him, put a bomb collar on him, or use him in some way or another. He immediately takes a liking to the courier and often shared bits of trivia from before the war
Dog: Tried to bite Six the first time they hugged him. Dog loves the positive reinforcement, however. He thinks of Six as a second “master”
Follows-Chalk: Follows Chalk reciprocates the energy in full! The two become very close, and even more loving through their group polarization
God: “What are you doing? Stop that”
Joshua: He feels patronized... that and he doesn’t like physical contact. He actually grows to dislike Six because pf their overwhelming kindness. Ironic lol
Lily: Lily LOVES the hugs and such. If she maybe thought of Six as her grandchild before, then she definitely does now! More group polarization!
Raul: He nearly cried the first time Six hugged him. He hadn’t been hugged since Rafaela died. Contact with another person- that wasn’t trying to kill him- was in veeeeerrrry short supply, even for non-irradiated folk.
Ulysses: Like Cass and Arcade, he’d be suspicious of the courier’s friendliness. Over time he’d come to appreciate it, and would wonder what prompted Six to act this way
Veronica: Veronica honestly didn’t really notice. Six didn’t wanna kill her, therefore they were friendly
Vulpes: Vulpes would be veerry standoffish about it. You’re being too friendly, too trusting, too... pacifistic? Whatever it is, it can’t be good.
Waking-Cloud: She would appreciate the sentiment, but overall wouldn’t think too much of it. The sorrows were very close to each other, and she was no stranger to friendly behavior.

New vegas companions react to a courier with synesthesia?
Arcade: Would be curious, at first asking about a bunch of stuff like what color the sound of a gunshot was or what color the smell of iron was. He’d forget as soon as they encountered a cazador, though.
Boone: At first he’d appear not to care, but a couple weeks later would randomly point at something and ask what Six associated with it.
Cass: When she gets drunk, she’d yell about how the hell the number four would have a gender. When sober, she’d mumble about how the hell the number four would have a gender. Cass doesn’t understand synesthesia.
Christine: Wouldn’t pay it too much mind, she’s read about it in the past
Dean: Vera Keyes had synesthesia so Dean was familiar with how it worked. He enjoyed seeing parallels between what Six saw vs what Vera saw
Dog: Doesn’t understand it in the slightest
Follows-Chalk: Also has synesthesia and has fun comparing what they perceive things as
God: Straight up doesnt care. Wowww you can hear colors! So helpful!
Joshua: Would ask maybe one or two questions about what Six saw, but overall would leave it be
Lily: Wouldn’t understand very well, she kept confusing herself. After a while of Six trying to explain it to her, they gave up
Raul: Raul knew a couple people with synesthesia before the war so he didn’t think too much of it. When the two of them were walking long stretches or waiting out storms, he’d have fun making noises and having Six identify them as a color
Ulysses: Would get waaaaay too philosophical with it. Why do you see June as a vermillion? Do you have any associations with it? Maybe a fire burned during June in your past? Six would throw a shoe at him to make him shut up about it
Veronica: 100% would wake Six up in the middle of the night to ask what color Wednesday was
Vulpes: Probably wouldn’t understand or care much. A crossing of senses was a sign of weakness, right? You could get confused easily, right? Not suitable for survival.
Waking-Cloud: Would ask about Six’s associations with certain names, but would otherwise leave it alone
