Summary: Mathias' love for Berwald is killing him, has been for so long, that he had learned how to live with the pain and forgotten about the lethality of the flowers growing in his lungs. Until one fatal night, that is.

With a dull thud Mathias slumped against the wall. His head hit the tiled wall of the bathroom hard, but the pain was hardly present, being just a little itch compared to how the rest of his body felt. He started to feel light-headed again and reached for the sink to his right. With every last bit of strength he could wring from his tortured self, he managed to stumble the few steps to the side and steadied himself.

Mathias’ grip onto the edge of the sink was hard enough to make his knuckles go white, a sick contrast to the red stains of the blood he had coughed up earlier on his hands. Compared to his feverish body temperature, the cold porcelain felt as cold as ice. It burned, but the pain on his skin was calming, almost grounding.

For a moment Mathias thought he would be okay, but then his body suddenly convulsed again.

The sharp pain that came with every heaving breath became nearly unbearable and Mathias closed his eyes. Focus. You can’t die now. Please. He was not sure who he sent his pleas to, but there had to be someone, something, out there who cared. Who might hear him. Who would end his suffering.

having seen that there is not currently a hetaween/halloween event being organised (at least, not one we can find?) we've decided to see if it's something that creators would be interested in for this year!

I'd love to have as many artists (and maybe writers) as possible to participate. Ideally, there would be good, diverse representation of nations participating in this World Cup, though many of them don't have official Hetalia characters -- so OCs are very much encouraged.

I'm hoping the zine could be released a couple of weeks ahead of the start of the World Cup (November 20, 2022).

Well, since March (2022) that things have been (specially) chaotic for me... Never thought of saying this in public, but with all that have been happening since then until now... I would believe in some kind of curse (or just terrible... Damn terrible bad luck).

Since that time, my grandmother died (April, 9th), my dog died (April, 29th), my mother had an accident at work (ended up with me replacing her in the restaurant she was working), the kitty we had adopted specially for my grandmother died (June, 9th), our landlord decided that she wanted to sell the house, we were able to find a house (still, it's more expensive and smaller than the previous one...), I spent my summer vacations working (+ the overwork hours, since extra money never hurt... This until the end of August), the new house is kinda remote so the path to reach it is still in earth and rocks + it's rather dangerous to go down, besides the two times the moving company helped us to move the things that can fit in a small car... Me and my mother had to make countless trips back and forth to get all that was still left... which means we spend a week moving out to the old house to the new one, my mother had another accident at work and even if I was already carrying everything to the old house to the car and from the car to the new house alone, it was another additional thing to worry about as my mother is so damn stubborn to go to the hospital (I was able to put some reason into her hard skull, but only because I made her remember that she would have to go through the same thing as the previous one), AND after finally moving out 3 days ago... On the next day (2 days ago), another of my cats died from poison (it was either because he ate a rat that had been poisoned or someone made it on purpose... The last one seems more likely as he would bring me his preys. He ended up dying on the vet's table while receiving treatment)...

And still, those are only the "main events", if I go into detail... Well, I have no patience and the heart to write it all. Just letting you all know that I want to come back (as it would help me to distract), but I don't know why I can't or seem to be able to turn it off.

I really need a break and I hope to find a place... And the time to do it.

People often say that we do our own path... Well, I'm absolutely sure that they never had to just take what life gave and had thrown at them.

I wanted to be in a better mood as I still have unfinished businesses here and with Hetalia, but delaying telling why I haven't come back yet is tiring too, so here's why.

For anyone reaching the end or just reading this, I hope you are fine and better than I am... Or even if you are not fine or in a worse situation than me, remember to keep going because better days always come.

Nothing last forever, that includes the good and bad things.

Announcement

Hello everyone! It’s Kat and I’m excited to share that I will be running GerEng week this year. That being said I think I might do things a but differently in the sense I’d like to get prompt suggestions from you guys! I’ll be accepting prompt suggestions as of today and the last day to submit suggestions will be September 2nd.

On September 3rd, we’ll take a vote on the final eight prompts. That will remain open until September 17th.

I am also working on the days the week will spanned, There are two other events going on in October (one taking up the week this event is usually taking place) and thus it looks like the week will have to be moved to the last week of October (23rd-30th) because I’d like to at least keep the event in October.

In which I make various nyo events! I think this would be fun to try. I'll probably do some nyo ship events and some events just dedicated to nyo characters.
