Arts acre’s Indo_German Art
Festival 2017- a colourful exposure.
The indo-german art festival is the most renowned festival of artistic
culture and it's heritage, jointly organized and managed by Arts Acre
Foundation,Kolkata founded by Shuvaprasana and GITZ in association with
Emami Art, with a hearty collaboration of many Indian and German artists.
It’s a festival for all the fellow art enthusiastic people who are concerned
about arts, music, dance and it's ramifications, not only that it's a inspiring
opportunity for those potential and arising young artist to showcase their
elegant piece of artwork , an utmost attempt to convert their creative
imaginable scenery into a piece of white canvas with precise strokes of
vibrant colours.
Started from 5th of november till 14th November 2017, many
different types of stalls were being displayed in a wide spectrum with
lots of crowd and gathering,
many different kinds of artistic concepts, handcrafted wooden
creations & ceramic sculptures were seen along with the paintings,
overall it was a mixture of ideas, designs, and creativity with soothing and beautiful ambiance. Apart from that many performing arts, folk and cultural programs were
also arranged where different kinds of dance forms were shown,
A lot of experience and opinions were shared by a few artists who were
participating in this art haat festival during the interview.
However being an art centric festival as well as exhibition it wasn't
confined with that, many musicians, dancers and cinematographers
were also there to perform.
Now here are few significant insights that were shared during the
interview with Mr. Shuvaprasana, Art Acre’s founder.
According to him it's the second time that they are organizing this event
after getting a lots of success from the previous year's event, this
festival, fair as well as exhibition was held at the museum of “Bangla
Modern Art” .About eight hundred collections of painting, sculptures
and other artworks, were showcased in their gallery, a auditorium with
a high end projector is there, where often many films are shown as well
as a furnished amphitheatre with ample amount of lighting and a
dedicated workshop is there for all the artists who can work without
any inconveniences in a seamless way,
The main aim and purpose of behind this festival is to provide an equal
opportunity to the young, potential and emerging artists,
to encourage them in every possible way so that they could create
beautiful paintings and also sell them at affordable & reasonable price
bracket, and in this way they can strive to their excellence, and promote
themselves.
In this fair different types of artists took part like from young beginners
to top skilled ones.
Here are few things about this fair.
This fair is a joint effort towards creating a revolutionized move in this
society, a whole host of artists come here to learn and grow together.
And lastly in this way it's hope for them to grow and in this way people
will know about this festival and it’ll gradually spread among the people around the world.

Artist Jogen Choudhary - from Shantiniketan to Arts Acre
Jogen Chowdhury is known for his ability to successfully incorporate traditional landscape with the zeitgeist of contemporary painting, in a skillful blend of an urbane self-awareness and a highly localized Bengali cultural influence. His early works show an attention to figuration that carries through in his current pieces. In an interview, Chowdhury commented that, in his early works, "the space projected a simple iconic presence. A spatial sequence was worked out but the space was not complex. The background seemed to vanish." Chowdhury describes his later works as "now more personalized and subtle".

Indo German Art Festival in Kolkata- promised to make a world of creativity on a single canvas
Once when I was Standing in front of a life size painting, I have noticed others are spending considerable amount of time in front of each particular paintings. I didn't understand that what is there to see delving so deeply, so I was also trying my best ability to perceive it just for proving that I'm not dumb but a connoisseur of Art but unfortunately; result was zero & I didn't understand much about it.
Thereafter, I had attempted many times and had failed several times but now I can leave my entire brain at an aromatic art gallery just to rediscover a particular painting because a good painting will never bore you like your most charming girlfriend or boyfriend. When you look at it, will make you feel stunned and speechless at the same time, just keep quiet and let it unfold itself to you . Let's feel naked, be open and that painting will offer you a kind of arousal which sex can't.
That's how my interest about Art grows and it happens with all most every art lovers like me who belongs from a non art background. But we all fall in love with art in the same way.
Even if you love a tiny smiley you are an art lover too, you can learn more experiencing more and adapting your eyes to see more art work.
Art is not only for the sake of your eyes but your heart's too. It nurtures your soul and that's how therapeutic art has been evolved over times.
The common factor in art with other performing and creative works are it's true power of strengthening the bondings, with this common motto Arts Acre foundation brings to you this year's most promising cultural event called Indo - German Art Festival and Art Haat.
