Apologies in advance but there's been a personal emergency that has forced me to put this project on hold. No worries, I will still finish it!! With that said I will be extending the deadline to Sunday the 20th in October. I'd like to have these babies done by Halloween and give them out as treats. Kids need to be informed of the great Nicolas Cage! This is also good news for those of you who have asked for an extension. I’ve decided I want to make a Nicolas Cage zine! It will be full of fun facts, comics, fan-art, mini games and even pop quizzes! And I would love for YOU to be a part of it! That’s right, you can totally contribute! Love him or hate him, I want your Nicolas Cage stories! What was the first movie you saw? Why do you love/hate him? What got you hooked? Have you ever “Cage Raged?” What would you do if you got to hang out with the man for a day? Did you have an annoying significant other obsessed with him? Make a comic out of it! Have you ever drawn Cage ship art? Is there a Nicolas Cage movie poster you’ve always wanted to design? Then by all means submit it! Unfortunately you will not get paid considering this is a non-profit zine BUT once it is complete I will be handing them all around New York City. I’ll make copies so people can grab them at indie/big comic and movie shops, theaters, restaurants, bars, basically anywhere that attracts a crowd. I’ll even make copies for those of you that submitted and don’t worry your credit will be given! I’ll insert any information/links you want on your art page AND the back will have an index! P.S. I would like to avoid it becoming a “Nicolas Cage as Everyone” type of thing so if possible don’t photoshop UNLESS you think it’s worth it. Worth it would be something along the lines of this:

Digital and traditional art would honestly be preferred. I’m trying to go for a 7.5" x 5.5" format which is subject to change. You can take up as many pages as you want. If you’re interested in creating a long centerfold/spread let me know! It will most likely be in black & white but if you use colors and it looks amazing I will chip in for color-copies. A black and white variation would be highly appreciated! This is all coming out of my pocket so if your submission is printed in black and white please don’t be offended! This is a non-profit zine! Important: DO NOT STEAL OTHER ARTISTS’ WORK! Here are quick impromptu ideas of what might be found inside!

Potential artists so far are: Mady G. Elise D. Kat F. Mikey P. Jess S. So please! Come and be part of the collective, there will be NO censorship! I really want you guys to do this out of love and most importantly have a lot of fun with it! This really means a lot to me, so I’m looking forward to this project. Who knows?
