Himori found herself smiling softly as the two seemed fascinated by kendo.
"It depends. Some can start late but can pick it up fast. Some it may take more time. You just need to keep at it and practice to become a master. I'm sure it's the same with the sports you play. Which reminds me, what are the sports you play like? I have never really seen or read about either of them."

A different type of gaming was going on at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, for a change: chess, and there Eriko was, playing a game against another human.
... should I just take a draw? ... yeah... might as well... ... but might as well keep going. After a few minutes Eriko made her next move; a few more minutes passed, and her opponent made a move, offered a draw, and pressed his clock.
Eriko nodded, and the two shook hands, then placed their Kings in the center of the board. She stood up, signed her scoresheet, and went with her opponent to the tournament director to report the result. After that, she hung around, watching the other games taking place.
... I guess I should be happy with that... ... maybe I won't play that line again. Only if I really need to. ... She sighed.

As she tried to raise her foot to the next step, clipboard and pen still in hands, she missed, spectacularly—her toes went right into the underside of the top step. What else, she didn't remember, only the falling sensation.

Jaw dropped, she could hear her clipboard and pen clattering against the ground and felt a strange support on her shoulders, then a familiar voice. Roye? Roye! She took a deep breath and chuckled a little.

Himori almost frowned at his words. What did he mean by 'bizzo'? Was he making fun of kendo? Their accents were a little hard for her to understand completely. Though it started to make sense when they told her where they were from.
She stared at both of them, trying to interpret what they were saying before noticing her captain had started his second match. "Well, if you don't wish to join but simply wish to learn, I can help with that as well." she said then began explaining the techniques her Captain was doing and the basic rules of Kendo.

"Sounds like we have to check the store first! Since you probably keep your wallet in there, I assume... but if not, after that... we can ask the employees if they've seen it.
"Huh... maybe you might have accidentally left it someplace... where there are a lot of plushies around?"
"Oh..." Wow, she'd really asked the right person, hadn't she? Viktoria remained standing where she was as she watched the other person jog off, simply waiting for her to return.
"Well... I went outside to check the timetable on the wall... and then I watched someone walk their dog past the station.. and then I went to the store to get a drink... and that's when I realized I didn't have my bag on me anymore, and when I came back.. it was gone.."
