Story Prompt #1

3 AM.

Lights were flickering in a small house in the western part of China. Screams could be heard and you could even hear some glass shattering against something. Though no one was around to hear it. Except for one person who was viewing it on the top of a hill. A large van was parked in front of the house. Inside the house, a woman's voice could be heard from the living room. "Noo. Please don't do this!" the woman sounded distressed and exhausted, as it seemed like she had said it multiple times already. "Please. NO..don't please noo do...." the woman's voice suddenly fainted away after a thump was heard.

Minutes past by before the front door opened and two men exited the house. They carried a small child with them, who was flailing his arms and screaming for help. The kid saw a figure on top of the hills and was hoping that the figure would help him. But the figure did nothing. It only stared as the two men threw the kid in the back of the van and drove off. Once the van drove off, the figure stayed there for a few seconds.  “And another one...” They sighed, looking down at the ground, kicking a stone away. Before leaving they pulled up their right sleeve, revealing a tattoo on his arm that said slave0049.....
