Another edit that was just fun. Probably never going to happen, but since watching All Those Who Wander, I couldn’t help but wonder about an actual SNW / Alien crossover. (Also did I think that huge egg thingy on the asteroid in Children of the Comet would turn out an egg chamber at first? Of course I did…)
It would be awesome to see more badass La’an giving her best Ripley impression, add some delicious La’an/Spock tension with Spock struggling with his emotions and dark impulses, and voilà - a very intense adventure!
This story would also include Sam Kirk getting killed instead of Hemmer for important personal reasons.

Back to that LotS AU (if anyone remembers the show):
In this AU, the Mord Sith are the elite warriors of Emperor Georgiou, trained in the mastery of torture, interrogation and seduction to subjugate people to the will of the Emperor. Their only real weakness is a Confessor's psionic touch, aka Vulcan mind meld, making them relive all the pain they've inflicted on their victims and even turning them into mind controlled puppets.
After losing her family, La'an was trained as a Mord Sith by the Emeror's head mistress Una Chin-Riley and became one of the most skilled members of the order.
I think La'an would fit well as a Mord Sith, not just because she already looks the part with her braids (and would look stunning in leather), but also because of the similarities in the traumatic backstory and personality (she can also take the pain without batting an eyelash like a true Mord Sith).
La'an gets send after Spock, a Confessor of great mental powers that the Emperor wants to get her hands on and his powers use against her enemies.
The Confessor powers are unusually strong in Spock due to his unique hybrid nature with his father being a Vulcan druid and his mother being a rogue Mord Sith who betrayed the order and forsaken her duty for love. At the same time, due to his human side, he doesn't have the same control over his powers like other Vulcans which can lead to him slipping into the dangerous blood rage plak tow (aka con dar).
Despite being mortal enemies, La'an and Spock feel immediately drawn to each other upon meeting for the first time. La'an feels her loyalty to the Mord Sith and the Emperor waver due to her growing feelings for Spock while Spock fears his attraction to La'an will make him lose control of his powers and mind meld with her.
