Heres a cookie recipe
2 1/2 cups [382g] All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup [226g] Butter, softened
3/4 cup [150g] Granulated sugar
3/4 cup [160g] Firmly packed brown sugar
2 Large eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups [340g] Guittard Real Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup [120g] Chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in chips and walnuts.
Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
The Original Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie: Prepare dough as directed. Spread evenly into greased 10x15x1-inch pan. Bake at 375ºF for 20-25 minutes. Cool before cutting into 48 two-inch bars.

Shout out to my middle school librarian actually because people like to be pissy about the fact that I read stuff that’s below my grade level (because I personally don’t much like the repetitive fake-y young adult romance novels or the angsty trying to sell a message bullshit) and then I get to remind myself of the middle aged librarian who would talk to 12 year old me (skipping lunch to sit quietly in the library) about the School for Good and Evil books that we BOTH read and I’m like hell yeah she had the right idea you don’t have to grow out of books that’s just wrong go read middle school fantasy books

for a very long time I didn’t realize “oomf” stood for “one of my friends” so I though it was a music artist and just rolled with it. Like yeah we got all sorts of weird names for music artists, oomf is a name i guess. Oh oomf keeps making bad drawings and saying weird shit? Yeah that’s celebrities. oomf used to work at a taco bell and slapped a customer? Ok that’s just how singers are sometimes. like sometimes the way you phrase things makes your friends sound like gay cryptid celebrities and I just fucking went with it. oomf was the most iconic singer ever and I miss when she was one singular person in my mind tbh.
