There are many hidden places on the California coast that make you feel as if you’re standing on the edge of the world with nothing but a blue horizon. This photo was taken in one such place on a weathered old hunk of an abandoned dock. I felt myself standing there on the precipice of something new. Wanting to be unmoored from this rusty lock that chained me, but afraid to step into the ocean. I hope to be braver in 2017 and share more of myself, my art, and music with the world.
