I have been off on very questionable side quests instead of working on my fics.

I went to a sex dungeon for the first time ever in my life. WHAT A RIDE YOU GUYS. I had a panic attack the whole drive there and just kept telling myself I could use it in a fic, so I guess I have to write about it now?

I live in the southern US and this dungeon is out in the middle of nowhere. Like the only other things around it were dollar stores, gas stations, a bait and tackle shop and a catfish restaurant.

So this increased my panicking, because I'm a brown queer person that doesn't want to die in a sex dungeon in the middle of fucking nowhere and I pull up to the place and there's people in line and it's all older white people and the panic is just increasing.

It should be noted I was there for a demo and because I made a friend and they talked me into going. So I knew in advance nothing too sexual would be happening, but still.

My friend overslept and showed up a half hour late, but I still went in on time, because I hate being late. And slowly but surely more brown people and younger people arrived, thank god.

A dom approached me and wanted to interact with me, but I said no, because I was already nervous out of my skin and didn't need any added pressure.

Once my friend showed up, it was a lot more fun and I relaxed. It was educational and a good learning experience for me.

My friend wants to go back for another event, but I just don't think I'm interested. Am I into kink? Yes. Do I want to see others engaged in kink in a dinky sex dungeon? No....

Will I eventually throw this into a fic? I hope so. Until then, I'll be doing more side quests.

Me, a brown queer kid, moved to rural, backwoods Louisiana when I finished school, because I was offered a job that paid well. I was the first person in my family to ever move away, let alone move across the country. It was terrifying, but I grew up poor and I wanted that God damn paycheck. I thought the people would treat me like shit and some of them did. But I was surprised when most of my older coworkers just decided I was like family to them.

One of my coworkers, Miss Wanda, was close to retiring when I started. She'd come by my office every day to shoot the shit. My office had big front windows and we'd stand there and oogle hot fire fighters when they walked by.

I helped her with her retirement paperwork even though I wasn't supposed to. I was supposed to tell her to call the 800 number, but that paperwork is confusing as shit so I helped her anyway.

On her last day she brought me a lunchbag with my name embroidered on it. I have a weird name and have never had anything with my name on it and she embroidered it by hand for me.

We kept in touch after she retired just sending random messages.

I checked Facebook this morning to see that she had passed away.

I didn't expect to be emotionally fucking gutted today. God.

My hand slipped and I ended up writing Tina x Eddie with Billy as her very bitchy best friend and I just couldn't help it.

I think Billy and Tina would be cute and fun. The girl whose party he went to and she dressed like Madonna from Like A Virgin cheering for him after Keg King? She was also the first character to say something about him when he first appeared.

I float from fandom to fandom, ship to ship and I just floated back to ATLA and I'm like traumatized by the lack of Top Zuko/Dom Zuko content, so I'm like ah, I need to retraumatize this fandom by adding to this sadly lacking area. At first I was thinking I have to write sokka/zuko, because there's like 234 top Sokka fics for every 1 top Zuko fic and it just drives me fucking bananas, but I couldn't think of a prompt, so then I'm trying to match Zuko up with someone and my brain is flipping through ships trying to find the right pairing and I've finally settled on Zuko x Yue, but I can't quite think of how they start or how they meet. Like modern AU? And then my brain just really fumbles from there, but I will avenge Top/Dom Zuko and no one can stop me.
