JUST A LIL VENT ON HOW KATSUKI ACTUALLY ADDRESSES HIS S/O

(someone please send me the link to the post I'm talking about bc I can't find it rn but-)

a little while ago, I saw a post that addressed the two separate ways Katsuki tends to nickname his s/o in fan fiction. (although this was actually race-oriented), I completely agree with the fact that Katsuki WOULD NOT, under any circumstances, call the person he likes a foul name like he does his friends.

the moment he even realizes he'd got a crush on you, even if he's only realized that his feelings for you are... not as infuriating as for the rest of the people he knows, he immediately STOPS calling you 'dumbass' or 'idiot' or 'pain in the ass' or whatever 'clever' nickname he's made up for you.

whether you meet as classmates in UA or if you just so happen to (quite literally) run into him during your morning coffee run and end up staining his (very expensive) favorite shirt, the simple fact that he uses your name or just... uses compliments when referring to you (i.e. "their idea was much better than the half-assed shit you worthless losers came up with") is the first thing that makes his friends realize he's crushing on you.

Kiri and Kaminari send each other a look when he tells you he thinks the top you chose today "looks perfectly fine" when you start second-guessing yourself or when he calls you by your name when he still calls his best friend "shitty hair". Katsuki actually doesn't even notice that they've come to such a realization until after they've already gathered a decent amount of proof, and he's absolutely fuming when he realizes that they know.

Katsuki would never call you a mean or 'foul-worded' nickname. he will certainly tease you at times, maybe even make fun of you for a few things here and there, but he will never embarrass or belittle you. because if you're magnificent enough to catch Katsuki's eye in the first place, you're nothing short of absolute perfect. and Katsuki will do everything he can to shout about his love for you on the highest rooftop in the biggest city in the world <33

And also one thing that learned is we shouldn't blame ourselves, I used to do that a lot and I used to think that am not interesting or good enough but that's passed now anyways how is your summer so far and am really happy that you remembered me <3

omggg no angel ! remember to be kind to yourself as well as other bcz u're just as important 🩷🩷 & my summer's going okay ! a little uneventful but we have to make the most of it :) and obv i remember you hehe ^_^

It's good to see you again ❤️❤️ and the one thing that I learned is that you shouldn't chase after people that don't want your attention and friendship also people have the right to not want to be your friend anymore cus I learned that sometimes people lose interest or not click with each other it doesn't means it's always our fault sometimes it happens and it's completely normal too what matters is that focusing on the people that love and wants our attention plus chasing after a person when they lose interest with us is only gonna make ourselves sad
