Addressing these rumors - Part One
As I hit the limit to pictures, I will reblog with part two in a moment.
Hi everyone, it seems there is a document going around saying that myself (Asellus#9565) and a friend of mine are Tumblr doxxers and harassers. I just want to say that this is COMPLETELY UNTRUE.
I have been there from the beginning for Ven (@/chicoree) since she said she was getting harassed. I worked with her in both my private server (The Church of Meian), as well as in other such as Anilysium to gather evidence for her about this harasser/doxxer. I was even called out in announcements in Anilysium for posting in Church that there is possibly a doxxer involved, something Ven knew about as well. Even as of a few days ago, I was gathering evidence for her in the personal mod chat, as well as sharing screenshots of harassment I've been receiving. I personally invited her to become a mod again so we could discuss and try to find this person by sharing information and screenshots. Why would I do this if I was the harasser, knowing that it would lead to myself?
Because yes—I have also been getting harassment. This person found my full name somehow (though I don't know how) which Ven and I agreed could be from a leak of my private e-mail. They were sending screenshots of my FULL NAME to Ven talking about personal things that I mentioned on my Twitter. Then they came into my inbox with information about me that was available only in two places: Twitter or the Church. Here are the screenshots:

Note: this is an OC YA trilogy that I wrote under my pen name, which is my married name. I published on Amazon under this name and had to delete my Amazon writer's page as well as my LinkedIn because of this, as it included my workplace, my degrees, and current location.
Proof:
After this, I closed my public Twitter and went private so I can determine where the information was coming from: whether in Church or from my Twitter.
However, why I believed it to not be the Church was: 1) I was very forthcoming with my information in the Church for over a year now, which is ample time to find pictures and information about me, and 2) the following scenario:
On March 25th, I opened my Twitter for ~20 minutes or so to grab links for a site I'm building for information on my other hobby (as it's not possible to search hashtags when you are a private account) and received this anonymous message. Below is the tweet I made on my Twitter for reference:
I did not mention publicly in the Church that I was being doxxed. This was private information shared only with Ven and other members of a private group, as Ven believed it to be someone in the church. This is also the reason that I did not talk about my doxxing experience publicly in the Church but in Hanaya as well—because I wanted to make sure that we found the person involved before pointing fingers or causing panic within the server, something that Ven agreed with.
That night, I received this message from an account using my husband's name and a play on my secondary (and now deleted) blog:
This is including a picture of me wearing my Haikyuu shirt, which is why I suspected they used this photo. Obviously I was shaken and immediately messaged our group chat (which Ven included in her document.) I then immediately went to Tumblr support to please take down this blog multiple times over the last few days to no avail (as the blog is still live):
Additionally, I mistakenly thought my VPN (that I used to check on this blog) was the doxxer's and sent Ven this information. Using the information, I then went to the company in charge of the VPN and asked them to take a look into the IP address I collected. However on second look to my Statcounter page (which I installed on my blog to assist Ven with her hunt for this person), I realized that this was my VPN's IP, so I immediately e-mailed back:
and I immediately messaged Ven and told her the same.
When I woke up yesterday morning, I found Ven had blocked me with no word, and left all of our groups. Privately I wished her nothing but the best because I knew what she was going through, but expressed my hurt that she would cut me off for no reason (I guess I see why now, but alas.)
Why would I go through all of this—from gathering information to help Ven, to harassing my own self, to reaching out to multiple different websites (including calling the Korean police to see if anything could be done) if I were the one harassing and doxxing them? Why would I harass myself and go through all of this trouble to draw attention to myself?

rowan is going on hiatus!
(is this probably a bad judgment call? yes. is it way too late in the night to be making rational decisions? yes. am i backing down? no.)
due to online people being shit and irl being worse, i’m going to be taking a break from interactions + posting anything other than my collabs on tumblr. i’ll still be active on discord, though less than i am currently. no, i don’t know how long this will last and i genuinely have no idea if i’ll even find the motivation to get back on here again. i hope that one day tumblr can be the wonderful community it was for me when i first started.
before i go, i’d like to thank all the genuine friends and followers (all 183 of you) who’ve supported me throughout my journey. ily all so much and i hope i’ll get to see you again one day. to haters and the fake besties who fucked me over one to many times, i hope you’re happy knowing that you’ve driven me off this platform (at least temporarily).
i’ll still be finishing my collabs, but please don’t expect any writing (including my 50 followers event + requests, sorry) other than the 5+ collabs i’ve already signed up for.
