I'm still not over my Yellowjackets bug, as I'm just so unbelievably excited for season 3, and after the reception to Taking On Water, I found it only appropriate to continue my journey into the fandom with another YJ fic!!

This is The Pythia, a Lottie-centric fic that takes place in between episodes 7 and 8!! I took a ton of inspiration from Greek mythology for this one, since the original source material is so heavily inspired by it as well, and so if you know the myths or figures I'm referencing or alluding to, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments!! I'd love to hear 💖

As this takes place post-"Burial," there are some pretty gnarly details regarding assault recovery and medical problems in this fic. If that's not your jam, or if you're squicked out by unsanitary topics, there's no pressure to read!!

Hiya, everyone!!

I'm so pleased to announce the publication of a new fic for a brand-new fandom on this blog: Yellowjackets!! I've officially become obsessed with it over the last few weeks and I instantly knew that I needed to write something for it immediately, so I'm taking the plunge!

This is Taking On Water, a fic set in the two months between the season 1 finale and season 2!! It deals with lots of canon-typical contents, like dead bodies, gruesome stuff, hallucinations, unreality, etc. so! If that's not your thing, I would advise you not to read.

And, of course, by necessity, spoilers for the season 1 finale of Yellowjackets.

I woke up this morning to see that Moss on Stone hit 1,000 HITS!!! I'd never thought that my writing could hit this kind of milestone, and now that I'm sitting here looking at it, it still doesn't feel real? This is a much darker chapter than the previous ones! It deals with discussions about power imbalances in relationships, abusive and toxic behaviors and manipulation, and includes a scene that directly portrays abuse, though it is dealt with quickly, appropriately, and severely. I am an abuse survivor, and I wrote it to be dark on purpose.

I'm SO excited for TotK, so excited in fact that I decided to dip back into the Zelda universe for my next fic! This one is the longest fic I've written at over 6K words (fucking unheard of), AND it's a multi-chapter! I'm not even close to being done with what I wanna talk about in this fic! So expect future updates semi-regularly, but again, I must stress the "semi" because I'm gonna be obsessed with TotK once it drops on Friday.

I'm back again with another fanfic, this time from the Legend of Zelda series! Zelda has been a huge part of my life ever since I was very young, and it's truly a pleasure to be able to write something for it as an adult. This fic takes place during the century that Link was in the Shrine of Resurrection in BotW, but there are lots of callbacks and hints lifted from previous games.

This is a very vague fic that may require a second reading to fully understand! Basically everything in this fic is symbolic and could potentially mean two or more things, so rereading is encouraged!

No explicit trigger warnings for this, apart from a very slight emeto towards the end and perhaps unreality, as it deals heavily with hallucinations and repressed memories.

So for a while I've been mentioning a character called Lacewing on my main Tumblr, and I never really went anywhere with her character but I recently decided that must change! Hi, everyone! I'm back with another dose of gay shit!

This story introduces the character of Kepler Thornfoot, a halfling cleric that saw some not-pretty-shit when she was younger and is doing Totally Fine About It! She's toolin' around with Melly and the gang right now, and I think she's gonna end up bein' the link between most of my characters that were, until this point, completely stand-alone. Who knows what the future holds! >:3c

This one is pretty tame, with just some cursing and allusions to past violence. But it's a fluff story, I promise!
